As far as Vegas, the dates for the football camp are 3/30/12-4/2/12 but I'm not exactly sure what location he's going to go to??? I just REALLY want to go to Vegas, but I'd rather go with a group of ladies than my kids .

I had a back-to-back hip hop class yesterday. The 2nd one was for a charity. We donated as much $ as we wanted and the class was free. I was so tired but I really wanted to learn more steps. It was really fun and I met 2 new people in my class. RuPaul was at my hip hop class again. I'm so shy to talk to him but maybe if I see him again, I will muster up some courage to say hi!

I have no idea who RuPaul is, but I say go for it!

Haven't read those books but we've been watching some videos of a sort-of Bible study that was done in the Holy Land by Ray Vander Laan. Very picturesque! And we have a book that some church members wrote with pictures from different places and the Bible verses that go along with them. We're not supposed to bring Bibles on the excursions with us so they gave us each that book so we could read the corresponding verses while we're there.

The places the cruise lines go are not the dangerous places. The only place we're not going that we were supposed to is Egypt. I don't think any tours are going there right now, although I think ABD will be again in 2012, assuming it's safe.

See you in November!! Can't wait for that!! I was telling someone about our trip and MouseAdventure and how hard it is, and very competitive!! But we always have FUN!!!

I've watched quite a few of the Vander Laan videos. They really do give fantastic backgrounds to the culture, people and places of the Bible. I hope you are having a great and safe time!

For the past year and a half, I have been in a very Justin Bobby/Audrina (from The Hills, for those that don't know) relationship. And I am so officially done! He "dumped" me for the third friggin' time. So that's it. Three strikes, he's out! I just wish I hadn't fallen so hard for him. I spent the past two nights crying myself to sleep and I cried a good part of yesterday. It has been painful to breathe and it feels like a knife is stuck in my heart, but it feels good to have this all done and over with. I know life will go on and I'll eventually meet someone new that is worth my time, but it just hurts right now. Sorry for my drama post.

Yeah, I find the new FB format to be a little screwy, but I think I'm finally figuring it out (maybe).

I watched Dancing with the Stars and it seems like it may be a good season. I really think China Phillips has a lot of potential, but I'm afraid she won't last too long because it is a popularity contest .

Hi to all of the ladies that have joined the group.

I wish I was able to get on here more. Lots going on lately.

The Air Force has changed their mind and decided to have me go through a medical board to determine if I am still fit to stay in the Air Force. Good news is that I have served over 15 years now so they have 2 options: a - let me stay in w/ provisions as to what I can do and where I can be stationed, or b -medically retire me and I get to keep my benefits.

Also I'm moving to a new section (staying here in CA) this coming month. With this new job I will be staying in CA for at least 3 more years (as long as I'm not medically retired).

Kids are all doing well and keeping Josh and I on our feet lately.

I am ready for the weekend. I hope you all have a great weekend.

I found out yesterday that my grandpa has tumors all over his lungs, ribs, clavicle, and esophagus My mom is on a flight to Oregon as I type to be with them. Today the doctor was going to inform them if there is anything they can do. Grandpa was complaining of pain and the doctors kept saying it was something else - so basically, they have wasted time and the cancer is pretty advanced. I am waiting to hear from my mom on the results of today's visit. *sigh* way too much stuff going on now....

Jen, I am so sorry to hear about your grandpa. Cancer is some horrible stuff. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Beth, I am so sorry that we missed each other. Bummer. Hey....wasn't that lightning and rain storm crazy? One minute the Mandalay pools were busy busy, the next minute everyone disappeared. It was kind of funny. My friend and I stuck it out. No way was I leaving the relaxing pool the last day we were there!

Deb, Brooke's Minnie Mouse party sounds so cute.

Every year our church has a "Trunk or Treat." This year my kids really want to get into it. We are going to set up my DIL's SUV, and make a huge Cinderella pumpkin carriage cutout in front of it. The kids will have to go through the carriage doors to get their treats. All of us are going to dress up in Disney costumes. The babies are going as Mickey and Minnie. My DDs are going to be Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Aurora, the grandsons are going as Jack Sparrow, and Tron. My older sons, not sure yet. The Green Army Man looks pretty good. Maybe Zorro? I think Dave needs to be Grumpy!
I might be Annette again or maybe Mary Poppins. I told Dave to start looking out for big refrigerator boxes to cut out the pumpkin with. Hope it works out!

Katie, If you go to Vegas, check out Treasure Island. I got a really good deal on it. We asked for a room with a fridge, and snagged one of their newly decorated rooms. I think we had one of the best views ever of the strip. It was great!
