Hello ladies!! Just a quickie from me. It's been a crazy, busy day, but in a fun way. Noelle went to her first Homecoming dance tonight, and we've had girls over here hanging out since around 3.
I enjoyed it. Made me feel young! LOL But I am not young, and now I am pooped and it's only 9:00!

Hi everyone. I too have been very busy. I am moving in just a couple weeks. Major headache with this move as it's not our last stop either. One it's just a short temp one. UGH!!
I hate putting things in storage. I hate moving. I hate doing it more than once in just a short amount of time.

I had my grandson's bday today!! He turned 3 and I got him a full set of Lion King figurines as one of his gifts. He loves it. He was so amazed when he open the gift it was so funny.
His mama got him a motorized 4 wheeler but he wasn't as excited for that as he was the lion king.l

Good morning all,

I just found out yesterday that I will be moving in 1 week instead of 2! I was calling around and changing delivery dates of items we had purchased for the new house and calling a bunch of friends to see if they will be available to help out. It looks like it will all work out as long as we can sign papers tuesday which we will find out for sure about on monday! Last night dh and I were packing up...we used all the boxes I had brought home so today we will try to get more boxes!

We were going to go to sunday school this morning but as my daughter decided to wake us up from 1 am to 3 am we are just going to church. For some horrible reason they have sunday school at 830 am! We didn't even wake up until 8 today with all the sleep interuptions.

Thanks. I think she did. Some guy even asked her to dance but she said no. LOL Didn't even hesitate. She said she was having too much fun with her friends.

That sounds fun and I might try to come but it will depend on so many things. It will just have to be a wait and see.

We pretty much decided to cancel our May Alaska cruise; it will be a couple of months before our son's wedding and we really shouldn't spend the money (meaning put more on the credit cards, we don't actually have any money). The following year is our 25th anniversary so we are just going to wait and splurge on a trip then. Kind of sad but I just wasn't feeling comfortable with the trip, but still getting to go do WDW in November and DL in February, so not complaining!

I'm pretty sure I can make that work, I have to do some sucking up to the boss first. Cherry Pepsi will usually do it since we don't have it here.

DH and I are leaving for Vegas tomorrow morning after we drop the kids off at school, I can't wait! We're having lunch with Beth on Thursday so we're looking forward to that as well!

I love the Lion King. Rafiki rocks.

My boys were cracking up over him. "He has a blue butt mom!"

I also love the Lion King Movie, although it was really the first time I realized how tragic those darn disney movies are. I couldn't believe it when the Dad died!

This still makes me cry!

Well, my weekend isn't off to the best start.
Ruben went out to drop Adam off at the homecoming football game and got a flat tire. He called AAA and they changed it to the spare. So he thought he was good to go, until he realized that the spare, after years of being stored on the van through the snow in Michigan and the heat here, is not any good. He had to call AAA again to come back and tow him home. I guess tomorrow morning, not sure how, he's going to take it to get a new tire.

eee...no fun. I hope it gets fixed soon!

He was so sweet and held me after that. Then this afternoon I took a nap and dreamed of Kevin McKidd (the actor I met last weekend). In my dream we were friends and I was showing him the picture. We were laughing that I took a picture with him then when I could take one with him anytime. Weird! I wonder why my dreams are so vivid and crazy this weekend?!

On another note, do any of you have kids with ADHD? I am trying to figure out how to help them focus and learn better in my classes. Any tips would be great!

I've been having some funky dreams lately too and they seem so real. Maybe it's something in the air .

Oh and Devin has ADHD so I'll ask him what works best on getting him to focus in class. I know a lot of it starts at home so there is nothing you can do there. I cut out most red and orange dyes out of Devin's diet at home since those are big triggers. He still has major trouble focusing and he actually asked me to put him on medication to see if it would help .

End of March is usually pretty nice. Warming up for sure but nothing like summer. It can range from 75 to upper 80's. Why are you asking? Will I be seeing you in March???

Oh, and the tire was not repairable. $100+ for a new tire.
