Girls Trip #1 (check in daily for any plans being finalized or changes/updates)

Ok--don't get me wrong . . . I don't like vacuuming either! (I'm not THAT loony . . .. well, maybe) I had a vacuum, and then last year my Mom wanted to get me something for Christmas and my best friend LOVED her Dyson and so Mom got me one . . . . vacuum #2. However, now both are uprights and I grew up with canister vacs and actually prefer those. So I was watching QVC one day (ok, can we just say that if you want to call me loony, calling me loony for my recovering QVC=-aholism would be the way to go) and they had this really neat little canister vac and I HAD to have it. That was last November. It's still in the box.

and Beth-- I don't know how Lorealle got back on . . . . there was a thread in the Disneyland forum where someone asked a Hojo's question and Lorealle responded . . . someone else was like "whoooaaaaa--Lorealle--did the mods let you back on?" and she said something like "yes, just in time because I was missing my disBoards obsession"--so don't know how it came about.

Yeah, baby! I've read some of the posts about Ridemax and I'm all for it! I love it, we usually go by the schedule as close as we can unless a ride is closed or something gets us off track, until early afternoon. By then, we're holding 5-6 FPs for DL and have gone over to CA and rode Soarin', Screamin' and TOT 2 times each and maybe GRR and MulMad (not me, just my daughters). I don't like standing in lines, and I use the system to it's fullest!!!

Now the vacuuming, that's another thing! I actually don't mind doing it, I hate dusting though!

My BFF and my niece are at DCA today and are doing DL tomorrow! She know how much I love DL so I totally got to plan their trip for them. Litterly she gave me her credit card and said book us a good hotle, buy our tickets, etc.! What fun, I only wish I could go.

My BFF's younger daughter (she will be 2 on Easter) has Dandy Walker Syndrome so BFF spenss ALOT of time with her between therapy, Dr. visits and such and DNiece (6) doesn't get to spend as much time with her parents as she should so this trip is just for DNiece (6), they are leaving DNiece (2) with family.

HI Amy. Just look for the nearest wild, loud group of ladies and there ya go!!

There is a schedule on the front page that will help give you an idea of what's happening and when so you'll know more or less where they are if you want to meet up with them.

Also some of the ladies PMed me their cell phone # and I sent those out, so if you want you can do that and I'll send you the list with the numbers on it. That way you can call someone and see exactly where they are.

I'm sorry you couldn't go with them but that was sweet of you to plan the trip for them. I'm sure they are going to have a blast and I bet your Niece will be loving the one on one attention.

No, no character meals. DNiece is very much a Princess! Her favorite is Ariel (is Ariel a confused3 ). When she was 3 or 4 she was watching Mulan and she cut off her hair like Mulan does in the movie! BFF was so mad because DNiece has long hair (at the time it was down to her butt) They had to give her bangs to make it look not so bad!

Absolutely!

I've often daydreamed about what would happen if I was at DL for the day and won the suite--who would I call to join me for the night? (besides whoever I was with!)

One thing--they allow more than 6 to visit the suite for the evening--just at park closing all but 6 have to leave. So my thought would be to invite as many friends as I could get a hold of and have a big party in the suite until closing, then let my nearest and dearest stay for the night. (I'm sure Disney wouldn't spring for dinner for 20 though!)

Hey there! That's great news! Probably the best thing to do would be to read the first post that has a tentative itinerary of what we plan to do each day. Hopefully you are arriving before your birthday since we will be gone by then.

If you want to participate in any of the scheduled activities pm the Disboard lady who has taken on the responsibility of planning the event (it's listed in the first post). You can also pm your cell phone number to Momma4U and she will add it to the list and then send you the list of everyone's numbers.

There are some other ladies who are going to be in Anaheim with family but sneaking away for a bit to join up with us crazy ladies, so it's just fine (we'll just avoid your family so they can't see the wild shenanigans you'll be getting into!)

Nope, not today...but they'll be ther tomorrow too so there's still hope!

Plus I'm trying to talk my sister and her boyfriend into going to Disneyland on Sunday and taking me with them. Her BF works for Disney Studios so they get in for free. My BF will be out of state Saturday-Tuesday so I'll be by my self with nothing to do.
