can someone give me a link that details the VIP tour and do we have a count of how many are doing the tour?

Hi!! Lesley (Tink33) is overseeing that tour and she has the final count.

Here is info from the Disney website:

Experience the VIP treatment as only Disney can provide! Our VIP Tour Services team customizes your vacation so you spend your time playing, not planning. Prepare to be pampered with a Disney VIP Tour!

From the moment you arrive, your personal VIP Guide is there to take care of everything:
Creates your ideal personalized itinerary
Serves as your personal guide, host, concierge and storyteller
Obtains priority seating at some of our premier restaurants
Arranges preferred seating for certain shows, parades and nighttime spectaculars.

And she said the tour was going to be Friday from 2-6. I don't think any other details were worked out yet.

Here's another bag idea, and it's only $2.99 on www.graveyardmall.com:

Breakfast: Depending on everyone's departure times, maybe those who have the time, can meet somewhere for breakfast?

So on our ladies trip, what's everyone doing after dinner on Thursday?:confused3

I plan at being at the park until around the time for the UVA Bar meet. Someone should let us non-Jazz Kitchen peeps know when they plan on going over there. Maybe they could also text/phone a few of us when they actually start to head over there. We can have a text/phone chain. rofl

Here's hoping I don't 'crash' due to the 3 hour time difference. :lmao:

I'll have to assign someone to keep you awake. It's your first visit. You can sleep at home. :rotfl:

Uhhh--depends on how much I drink at dinner? (LOL--actually I rarely drink!)

Seriously, DCA closes at 8 and Disneyland closes at 10 .. . . so I don't think there will be a lot of time after Jazz Kitchen and UVA to get to the parks. What about a movie in DTD?

Or just perusing the shops in DTD for what we might want to pick up later in the week?

Any other ideas?

I am loving the idea of shopping and/or seeing a movie w/o children. In all honesty the last movie I saw in the theater was Polar Express (and that was in 2004).

I'm up for anything. Before I forget does anyone know if the UVA bar has nonalcoholic drinks? TIA

Im sure they do... I hope. :rolleyes1 But most bars and whatnot at least sell soda.

I couldn't find a beverage list on their website . . . . . but I have never heard of a bar that doesn't have soda, juice or won't make "virgin" types of drinks. (Although one tip I heard was to make sure that they rinse out the blender before making the virgin drink--one person had an alcohol allergy and they didn't rinse it out and they had a reaction.)

Maybe at the beginning of the week I'll take a peek and see if I can find the movie listings (or print them out the morning of Thursday and bring with).

I plan at being in the park until drinks too. That would be great if someone could call me and let me know when they head over to the UVA Bar.:thumbsup2 :flower3:

Speaking of calling, is there anyone else who wants to include their number on the cell phone list?

I have quite a few numbers already, but I wanted to remind anyone in case they'd forgotten. :)

Hey ladies!

On www.disneyland.com the home page has a link to an online tour of the Dream Suite which is interactive. There are five special icons you can find (representing each of the "lands" in Disneyland and if you find all five you get to download a special "walking tour" map of Disneyland).

Although some of us have posted individual photos I think this tour gives a better look (and you can explore!)

They also let you experience some of the "magical" touches in the suite (some of which we saw and some of which we didn't on the special DVC tour).

Enjoy! :wizard:

Hi Ladies,
I haven't had time to read all of your posts, but DH and I just planned our April trip to check out the food wine event, and it turns out we'll be there during part of the ladie's trip. I'd love to split off from him for a bit to do some "girl stuff" if anybody is interested.

Oh yeah! You know we have to get together for a Billy show so we can drool over Kirk together! :worship: Seriously, I would love to meet you and hope you get to spend some time with us!

What Food & Wine events are you signed up for? A few of us are doing the wine tasting on Sat. night.

Joining the no alcohol crowd, haven't gone to a bar in ummm gosh I can't even remember.
Once my hubby was old enough to go we just never did , we had a lil kidlet by that time. :lovestruc

Let me do some poking around, I vaguely remember some web site.. or was that for Catal??

Hi all! Been awhile since I've posted....sorry about that. Kinda caught up in the "whoa is me" fest, with no job, problems with our house, finances, and at a cross roads that I don't like. I still stop in at times.
Minnie didn't work out for Sunday. I didn't have very many people left who had expressed an interest, anyway, but I couldn't get in anywhere near when we wanted to do it.
