I have a request--if it's not too much work. Once the lists for the various events get pretty well finalized, would it be possible to put the list of who's attending in the first post? For example, I know that I've signed up for the VIP tour and Blue Bayou, but can't remember what else I've signed up for (I know not HOB since I'm doing the wine tasting).

Okay I have to share this wonderful news. I received an assignment today. We're finally moving in August. And the best part is that we're heading to Okinawa, Japan!!!!!

Just thought I'd share with you all.

So are you looking to see how far and how much it is for the Disney parks over that way???? (I think it is the Tokyo parks.)

No I haven't looked yet. But we are definitely going to travel while we're there. We'd like to visit Tokyo, Australia, Thailand, China... well you get the idea. I figure this may be our only chance to travel in that area.

Good morning Ladies!

Well I have had a heck of a week. On Thursday I had to take DH into the ER for emergency surgery to remove his gall bladder. He had a one inch stone in the neck of it and was in a ton of pain.

I also had a job interview last week - and - I GOT THE JOB!

But what this all means is - I won't be able to go on this trip.

I can't even imagine how much the surgery will cost us even after insurance and I won't have any vacation time accrued. I am so sad because I was so looking forward to this trip. But maybe I will be able to go next year.

Have a blast and have a margarita for me!

Wow, I am so sorry to hear about your DH. I hope he feels better soon. And I am really sorry you won't be able to make it on the trip. That's a shame.
But if things should change, we'd still love to have you join us.
And if we do it again next year, then you'll definitely have to join us.

ATTENTION!!! I have an announcement!!! I made the ressies for the Jazz Kitchen. I had 11 people signed up, and I went ahead and made the ressies for 15. In case we have anyone else decide to come along at the last minute. 6:30, on the 24th. So that is set!!!

I'm sorry I haven't been around much. I am busy getting ready for my mom's visit. She's coming from Michigan on Wednesday and I've been cleaning, doing laundry, shopping, etc.

I'm totally exhausted.

But I'm totally excited too!!

After that's done, I'm off to run some errands.

I am just back from Columbus Ohio for a veterinary conference and had a blast!! I am however a HUGE walking VIRUS now!!! Can I ever fly without becoming a major booger-fest!!!

At least I am off today and will hopefully be able to get over this thing a little by tomorrow!! I am in the public eye the entire day at work, so the sneeze/cough/booger is expecially tiresome!!!

So, still excited about our trip!! Sounds fun! I think that I have all the new stuff straight!! I find I keep having to refer to the first page as I get days confused!!

If I haven't responded to any of the questions...feel free to point it out to me. A bit loopy on cold meds today!!

Sorry I've been gone for a few days. I had a terrible accident (fell down a flight of stairs) and sustained a few injuries along the way. I'm sure you can imagine.....lots of bruises from head to toe, a few scrapes and rug burns, and a fractured foot. Yep, I'm real light on my feet!

Anyway, I've been in so much pain that I couldn't really do much of anything. I'm feeling better today though, so I thought I would jump on the computer for a bit.

I've caught up on my PMs, and I'll try to catch up with this thread in a little while.

Anyone needing to order a shirt still has time. Just let me know sometime this week for sure.

Ouch, Capri! That sounds awful! Are you in a cast or anything? I hope you are fully healed in time for our trip.
