OK, I was just reading a thread here about the EP dessert viewing.
I mean it seems nice and all, but am I the only one who thinks it's insane to spend $334 for 6 for some snacks and to see a parade you can see for free?

Ah well, you don't really have to answer that. I'm just cheap I guess.

Beth: I probably wouldn't do it for a group . . . I did it one night when I was there alone because #1 there was no way this girl was getting up and down off the ground with my knees, and #2 I had just broken up (again) with DBF and wanted a treat. I would NOT pay for this for a group--I did see a husband and wife next to me and it looked like kinda a fun thing to do with your honey . . . . kinda special . . . . but honestly am not sure I would do with DBF even now that we're back together! I decided to do the Wine Festival tasting thing because I think it's at the same place/area and you get unlimited hors d'ouvres and wine tasting so I thought that made it more worth it.

But keep in mind--and I know some people will be shocked--but I didn't think the premium seating for Fantasmic was worth it either . . . . I just didn't see what the hoop-dee-doo was about that show . . . but maybe being in the second row I just didn't totally appreciate it. I really enjoyed the whole Electrical Parade experience more and if forced to choose one to do would choose that again over Fantasmic.

TEXT WARNING!!! Be very afraid of WDWR.......she is a texting monster....LOL
I've been on a few WDW trips with her and our friends. The first trip, I neglected to "check my plan" before I left. By the time I realized I only had like 40 texts allowed....it was in the 100's and after that 1st 40 you pay per text...yikes! It would have been much easier and cheaper to have added the $4.99 plan onto my account prior to leaving! Which I learned for the subsequent trips. Funny part was explaining to my hubby when I got home why I was getting texts at 4am.......from the East Coast girls who forgot that we were 3 hours behind! hehehe
I was a non texter back then, and still am 80% of the time now, but I can send a quick short reply in under a minute now! If you have teenagers...ask them....its like learning a new language! LOL

Besides, 7am is way too early to text. Unless I am at WDW and you're expecting them then!

At least I try not to use the lingo. I write it out long hand.

For the sitdown meals are there scheduled times for them all, as of now? As much as I want to be 'free' with my time, I don't want to miss any of the reservation times. I'm starting a very rough schedule (copying Beth's from the first page) and am trying to plug in times. Sorry for rambling...I'm getting sleepy.

I think they were hoping to get ADRs for 6:30 on the dinners. I'm not sure about the 2 breakfasts. The Blue Bayou was trying for 11:30am.

We won't know for sure until they try to call. All depends on who has the fastest fingers for dialing.

Hey Ladies, remember...4, 5 or 6 per table is fine. Just ask for the ADRs to be all the same time and close together. I might be able to shoot peas but I can't promise my aim will be good. Some innocent bystanders might get an unexpected delivery. (Aren't you guys glad I'm only booked for BB )

Yes, you can keep track if you contact just one person in the group you're trying to find. Been there, done that. The hardest part is remembering who was in the group when they left.

But half the fun is sending out texts to everyone and see who gets them first and who responds first. Trust me, my ladies group knows how to text. Multi texts are necessary and fun. I personally like texting in the Haunted Mansion and watching my friends answer them as we go round. LOL Yep, small things amuse small minds. But you really do get great reception in the HM at WDW for most of the ride! I just need a keyboard on my phone to be faster.

Well I admit to shelly I do not text message so she is giving me a crash course on the plane ride down. So I will be hanging most with her so feel free to text away to her alot she can giggle and tell me the messages

I was going to do the wine reception on Saturday (the one for $55, that includes wine and hors d'oeuvres), but I think now I'm doing the dinner at HOB that evening instead.

I'm sure I'll be going to DCA on Saturday though, and I wouldn't mind going to the sparkling bar (I love champagne).

Callie and Ellen might be doing the wine reception though.

Anyway, what should I do? Should I send them a PM? I don't want to seem pushy about ordering a shirt (you know, maybe they just hate the shirt), but I don't want them to forget either, or maybe they've been busy and/or away from their computer and just don't know they're supposed to order?

I guess I'll wait a couple more days and hopefully I'll hear from them.

I would specifically PM them, and ask if they are interested in the shirt. Letting them know when everyone plans on wearing them, and whatnot. Some folks might have signed up for the tour, and just havent checked in for a while. Give a few days, and if you dont hear back... Oh well!
