I won't be able to do the resies for Food and Wine, and I'm pretty sure my friend won't be interested, so if anyone still wants to do HoB Sat., let me know. I can still coordinate that, if anyone is interested. That is one place I really wanted to try. I figure for those of us not going to F&W, we could go to the Elec. Parade that night.

DH is still sleeping and I am off to Target

Oh my goodness. I was gone for 1 day and there's been so much going on here. I'm NJ for the weekend. My mom got a laptop and has never used a computer before. So my middle daughter and I flew from CA to NJ yesterday and are spending the long weekend teaching her the basics. I'll catch up when I can.
I got the PM about the T-shirt and I'll make my order when I return on Wednesday.

Cathy and I would like to do the wine tasting on Saturday too. Maybe we could switch our HOB dinner to Friday? (Sometime like 6:00pm - 6:30pm.....late enough to be after our VIP tour, but early enough so we easily make our VIP seating time for fireworks and Fantasmic.)

Do you think that would be possible?

It's obviously ok with me. I hope they have the yummy champagne they had the other day when I was there . . . . .

One thought--I note on the calendar for Friday night that there is Fantasmic! both at 9:00 and at 10:30 . . . . so if need be we could do fireworks at 9:25 and then go over for Fantasmic? Just a thought.

Capri--I am also going to PM you--I was "talking" with another person on a different board and got the names of preferred VIP tour guides (and one to avoid!)

That's a good idea. That way there are options if someone isn't interested in F&W stuff.

Now I realize that some might just read and not post, and we all get busy at times, but I hope that those we haven't seen in awhile will check in so we know that they are still interested in going and also weigh in on what they'd like to do and when.

It's getting down to the time to start finalizing plans and making reservations.

I read more than I post, and I just got back from vacation .. so here I am checking in.

I know we're all getting ready to order shirts, and I love Capri's martini glass design, but I feel awkward wearing an advertisment for Disboards.com on the back. I'd really prefer a shirt with no printing on the back. Plus, I'm not wild about a second color, both because it adds cost and it's just not all that attractive on the lovely teal shirt. A shirt with printing only on the front would be cheaper than printing on the front and back with two colors. Just thought I'd throw that out there. I don't mean to be causing Capri more work, but since I've sent her a PM with the same info, I felt it was only fair to own up to the fact that I am the one asking for the change. I know I am not the only one who feels this way, but I'll be happy to open it up for discussion.
Is everyone married to the idea of a two sided, two color shirt? (If you are could you see yourself 1/2 divorced and accept the best side with the lovely martini glass??)

Yes, she did email me about her concerns, and as I told her, Custom Ink may not do the Mickey head anyway because of copyright (and personally I don't think they will), and I would be perfectly fine with leaving the back of the shirts blank. It's the front of the shirt that's the cute part anyway.

It doesn't create any additional work for me, so don't worry about that.

I told my friends they need to let me know by this Friday if they are going, possibly 2 of them. If not, I would love to room with you! Or even if just 1 of them goes, I wonder if we could get a roll away and put 3 of us in 1 room???

I too wasn't thrilled with the Jazz Kitchen menu. But HOB was something I was really looking forward to trying. They are supposed to have a mushroom pasta that is really good. Never had it but someday I would like to.
