The El Capitan just sent me an email saying they extended the dates. I was thinking of taking DD and her friends as a treat.

I really just want to go to the Disney Soda Fountain next door and order the Hannah Montana Microphone Cone

The El Capitan was my original plan with her, as she's been wanting to go to Hollywood (don't ask me why!) but they were sold out for the entire weekend (except for a 1 seat here, 1 seat there thing) when I checked over a week before. That's cool they're extending it!

That is us! It was an accidental pic....but I love it! She was not cooperating at the photo studio and the photo lady was barking orders at her like "look over here" "SMILE BIG" and it kinda freaked Maddie out. She ran over to me and wanted a hug and kiss and the photo lady took a shot. I was surprised to see it in the proofs...but so glad she took it!

What happens with the VIP tour if, say, 35 people sign up for it with a max of 10 per guide? Does the group of 5 just split the tour cost amongst themselves, or does it end up as tour cost times 4 divided by 35? Or wait I'm remembering there was an extra cost per guide...so maybe I have the $$ wrong, but the question of whether it all gets lumped together and divided by the number OR if those, say, 5 are on their own still stands.

Omigosh Beth--I LOVE LOVE LOVE the tag at the bottom of your message regarding life being too short! My best friend and I were just talking about how upset with life we both are because of family and other issues (in fact, I just broke up with boyfriend last night) and how much we dislike where our lives are right now! Don't get me wrong, we both have a lot to be thankful for (and I AM grateful) but we have a lot of people in both of our lives right now sucking the energy out of us . . . . the problem is that she and I are both "people pleasers" and "if we want it done right we have to do it ourselves" kind of people and it's just sapping our strength.

In fact, one of the reasons I chose to go on the Ladies Only trip is that it is just time for ME and I don't have to share all the fun with anyone else!

Obviously I'm having insomnia problems...you don't even want to know how late I was actually up. It's been a problem for several weeks (of course drinking that soda I'm sure didn't help but it sure tasted good!), pretty much ever since I stupidly got Starbucks brand coffee ice cream and had it for dessert a few nights in a row. Dumb dumb dumb. But now I can't get away from the late night/late morning thing.

HI Cheryl. It's totally fine with me. If you go to www.photobucket.com and there you'll see an area where you can do a search, enter in the word Quotes and tons of them will come up.
Some funny and some very nice and you don't have to be a member to get the code to put in your sig, or web page or email, etc. That's where I found that one.

I'm sorry to hear things are hard for you right now, and also to hear about your boyfriend. I believe people come and go in and out of our lives at different times for different reasons and they all serve a purpose while they are there. Some are in for the long haul, and others aren't meant to stick around. In any case, I'm sorry.

As for being a people-pleaser, I think part of that comes from being a woman. LOL But I'm glad you are coming on this trip to take out some time for yourself that we all need now and then.

I love the quote too. And I to am a people pleaser and never put my self first. I almost had a meltdown around the holidays, but things get better and you have to "just keep swimming" (OK that was bad ).

Sorry about your break-up . Stay strong and hopefully you'll be able to relax and let go during our trip. It'll be here before you know it .

I don't know. I really wish I knew more about the VIP tour. The Walk in Walt's Footsteps was the one I originally wanted to take, but my DH wants to see it too and so I said I'd wait until a time when we can see it together.

I'm just so happy to be there, that I don't really care what we see. As long as I can walk and look around instead of constantly counting heads to make sure all my kiddos are still with me.
