HEY, DISNEY-SUPER-MOM IS IN THE HOUSE!

Tinkermell just brought this to my attention, and it sounds like something right up my alley! Girls only, Disney fun, shopping, food, and booze!:woohoo:

Darn, I knew I should have traded up my park hopper to an AP!

It looks like I'll be able to go, so count me in.! If something comes up I'll let you know, but for now the dates look good.

When I asked DH if I could go, he was easy! He said, "Well, um, yeah you should go." Then with a wink he said, "Just make sure you take lots and lots of pictures!" I think he's visualizing a Disney girl's orgy!:lmao: He was just kidding of course, but you know how guys can be, right? Don't worry, I didn't mention anything to him about a lime-green thong or lime-green hooker shoes.:rolleyes1

I may bring another lady with me if that's alright. She's a good friend (her name is Cathy) who's had a rough couple of years, and I thought it could be a treat for her too.....you know, for her to get away for a few days from work, kids, and hang with some girls for a wild Disneyfied weekend! Let me know if you all are okay with that.

I'm SO EXCITED! Let the planning begin! Where should we stay? Any good deals at the GCH to be had?:lmao:
WELCOME!!!

So after reading your post, I'm thinking you SHOULD mention the thong and stripper shoes to your DH. He might just get to excited, he might offer to put us all up at the GCH.....:rolleyes1 :lmao:

You are more then welcome to bring a friend!! The more the merrier. And you sound like a good friend to want to cheer her up. We'll make sure she has FUN!! :dance3:

Not sure if you saw it but there is a tentative schedule on the front page of the thread. Ideas are still being tossed around. We welcome and new ones.

Calli is checking on some rates at HOJO for us. If that doens't pan out, personally I like Candy Cane Inn. BUT we don't all have to stay at the same place if it doesn't work out. So we're still working on that.

Anyways, welcome aboard!! I'm going to add you to the front name list in just a sec.....

Welcome disneysupermom!!:jumping1:

Hi ladies! I've been absent for the past day or so. Man, work is killing me. I'm an assistant manager of the deli department at Ralphs grocery store. All I have to say is....Thanksgiving. WOW. We are insanely busy every day! I've already taken at least 50 orders for turkey dinners and I have the phone ringing off the hook all day long. :scared1:
Anyhoo, I was so wiped out after work yesterday that I fell asleep really early. Looks like I missed out on some chatting. I better go read through the previous pages and see what I missed!:teeth:
Happy Friday!
Hi Ashley! Wow, you sound like you could use a break!! Good to see you!

BTW, I don't suppose you want to bring me one of those turkey dinners....:rolleyes1 I am not wanting to cook this year.

:welcome: Disney-Super-Mom! Glad you'll be joining us. I'll probably be bringing a friend with me, too. I'm not the bravest about meeting a bunch of women I only know from the net, so I gotta have my security blanket IRL friend with me.
Awww, we don't bite.

Well, ok, there was that one time, but I swear it was only once. :rolleyes1

Kidding! ;) Hope your friend can make it!!

that sounds like so much fun!!! however, I cannot say yea or nay at this point, as we will be moving around that time frame, you know the whole moolah issue. . . so i will have to wait and see, but it sure sounds like fun!
I hear ya about the moving. We moved over the summer from Michigan to Las Vegas, and nearly broke the bank!

BUT we'd love to have you join us, so keep an eye on the thread, and if it works out then let us know!! :yay: :yay: :wizard:

Hey ladies! This is what I have up on the front page now. It's the most current that I have.

I hope that everyone had a good day today. TGIF!! :thumbsup2

I'm beat. We just got home a little while ago. Went to see Zumanity. It was good! But not for anyone who is conservative as it is very adult oriented and there is nudity.

Anyways, I'm outta here and I'll see ya tomorrow! Glad we got some new ladies today! :thumbsup2

Good Morning to all you ladies out there!!!!!
I'm finally starting to feel a bit better today, so hopefully that means I'm on the mend!

I'm probably not going to go on a tour on Sunday. I think I'm probably one of the few who really has had no interest. So, if anyone wants to hang out with me while (because they don't want to go or can't go for one reason or the other), I'd sure welcome the company. I think it's a great experience for those who are interested, though!

Just to get to know all of you a bit better.....the "question of the day" (don't you love how I just make things up off the cuff like that?! :rotfl2: ) is:

What is your favorite DLR ride and what is your favorite Disney Character?

My favorite ride is Splash Mountain. It's not because of the drop, it's because I love the animatronics and the music. Favorite character? Hands down it's Winnie the Pooh.

Good morning, ladies!

I am heading out the door to do some Christmas shopping with my DH. I am excited! I love Christmas shopping!:santa: I have not had time to read back and see what you all have been chatting about...but I will later today when I am back.:thumbsup2

My favorite DLR ride is Space Mountain AND Soarin'...I just can't pick one! My favorite character is Daisy.

I am planning on trying out Walk in Walt's Footsteps...but I am waiting to hear Beth's review before I decide for sure. We did the Keys to the Kingdom Tour at WDW and I thought it was great---I am hoping it is something like that.

Well, I am out! Talk to you all later!:cool1:

Good morning, Ladies!

My favorite ride is Splash Mountain (love the movie Song of the South).

My favorite character is Alice.

Hope y'all have an awesome weekend!

Good Morning Ladies!!! I am out of milk, so I have to run to the store. I NEED my coffee:surfweb:

My Favorite Ride- Peter Pan
My Favorite Character- Malificent (sp)

For the t-shirt slogan:

Girls Gone Disney

Do you think Disney would have a problem with Jessica Rabbit wearing a lime green thong, stripper shoes and holding a margarita? :rolleyes1

Good morning everyone!

So you all are probably coffee drinkers in the morning. I very, very rarely drink coffee. Instead, I'm one of those morning diet coke drinkers (well, I drink diet coke in the afternoon too). Anyway, most people think drinking pop is the morning sounds nasty, but for me it's a necessary evil.:goodvibes

Favorite ride: (I can't pick just one) Pirates, Indy, Soarin'

Favorite character: Donald Duck

HI Michelle!! I'm glad to hear you are on the mend! It sucks being sick.

I'm sorry to hear you won't be doing a tour. But I'm sure you won't be the only one. With this large of a group, I'm sure that everyone will find someone who is interested in doing what they are, kwim? :thumbsup2

Oh, and let's see.... My favorite ride at DL is POTC and HM. But I like many of them, lol, so it's always hard to say what is my fave. And my favorite character is Rafiki, but I also love all the Princesses.

Hi January! Enjoy your shopping!

I like Christmas shopping too, but it depends on who it's for. I like shopping for kids, but some adults are just a pain. Like my BIL and his doctor wife, who have a ton of money, no kids, and own everything under the sun already. :sad2:

For the t-shirt slogan:

:lmao: Hmmm, I don't know, but I think it sounds perfect! :rotfl:

And I love that slogan btw. :thumbsup2

I am NOT a coffee drinker. Never have been, never will be. I don't like anything with a coffee flavor. But I do love my Diet Pepsi in the morning.

Back before I was a SAHM and I was working as a manager in retail, I'd start my day with a muffin from Mrs. Fields and a large diet soda. That was my "coffee" for the day. ;)

Favorite ride is hmmmm...:confused3 I really don't believe I have one. There are so many that I haven't riden, I always go with my family and we tend to keep the trips focused on what they can do. I'm really looking forward to going on an adult trip.

Favorite character is Grumpy.

I'm not a coffee drinker either. I love a Diet Coke in the morning. I do hit Starbucks (frequently) but that's for Chai Tea. I usually need one when I'm really stressed, it tends to relax me.

Hi Steph! Well, we'll have to make sure you get to hit all the rides this trip!!

I hope everyone has a good day!! I'm not sure what our plans are for the day, but DH is off tonight and we have tix to see Mamma Mia so I know we'll be out later.

Have a good one. TTYL!!! :)

I used to do the soda thing in the morning, when in college and hungover, that is. ;) That with french fries and a grilled cheese and I'd start to feel better.

******
Fave ride is Star Tours right now, but IASW comes in as a close second.

I don't really get in to the characters, so I don't have a fave or non-fave on that!

******
We were at Costco yesterday and they were showing off some margarita maker, and I thought of this thread...

Favorite ride:
Do I have to pick just one??? I love them all! I adore the Fantasyland rides, I make my family suffer through them first thing in the morning-- no lines! I love both versions of HM-- as many times as I have gone to DL.. I still find somehting new that I neve rnoticed before on HM.

Favorite character:
Tinkerbell of course! I have a gorgeous tattoo of her on my lower leg.
I have a growing interest in Alice too.

Today, I hunted down and retrieved a dresser someone posted on my local Freecycle group. The ongoing joke in my family is that a trip is never complete without making a wrong turn.. or several wrong turns. :rolleyes1

I got a nice tour of another part of a neighboring city when we turned off the highway too soon.

Whiel I was gone my nephew called and left a message ...asking what are we doing for Thanksgiving.. umm nothing.... or maybe now I'm hosting a dinner for you ? He recently graduated from Marine bootcamp, has a bit of time off before he starts his training in San Diego. Guess I need to plan to buy a turkey-- preteen, teenager, husband and a young Marine = lots of hungry bottomless bellies!

oh.. and I can do coffee or Diet Coke for my morning caffeine.
Coffee is a new habit.. I found I love the Fat Free Cinnamon Vanilla Latte liquid creamer from Coffe Mate........... YUM! Drank several cups a day and harrassed a few of the hyenas in my caffeine buzzed state:lmao: :lmao:

I will get one:hippie:
 :thumbsup2

And.....did you buy it for the trip? :yay: ;) :rotfl:

LOL That sounds like me. I have no sense of direction. :sad2: Hey, at least you got to see a new area. :thumbsup2

 Okay, keep Bernice away from the caffeine. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

20+ years of school and no coffee drinker here, either! It's Mt. Dew for me. And, I have to bring my own stash to go Disney.
