Hola, ladies!

I hope you all are enjoying your day so far. I am just sitting here trying to finish up my final project for school...:headache: Let's just say PowerPoint and I are NOT friends.:rotfl:

OK so that said...I'm cheating on this trip. I'm cheating...by....going in 2.5 weeks. ALL ALONE. Yes folks, the gal who has NEVER even spent ONE NIGHT away from her boy is going off to Anaheim like a free spirit.
:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: You go girl!!!

Seriously Molly, that is wonderful news!! You are going to have a great time and I can't wait to hear all about it. :goodvibes

I feel so bad I haven't checked this thread in some time, cause I fell so behind. Ekk!

Anyway I am going to try and be better about keeping up with the goings on since I am still looking forward to this and have my brand new shiney Pass in hand woo hoo!
Hi Heather. I don't think you've missed too much. Maybe the latest tees from Callie's DH but a link is in the first post, and of course the VIP tour is being planned right now by Lesley, so your just in time for that if you are interested! :thumbsup2

I organized a Photopass sharing last October, so let me know if we need someone to organize it.
Stacie, I don't know the first thing about the Photopass let alone sharing one. LOL We never use it. :confused3
DH and I don't like having our pics taken and any pics of the kids we just take ourselves, so I just never saw the need for our family.

So, unless someone else has any objections, if you're willing, I say go for it!!

Stacie will be our go-to gal for the Photopass. :thumbsup2

Those who need convincing (Our guide will be a young, handsome, model type there to fulfill our every wish and need)
Capri
Beth
Molly

:rolleyes1
OH OH OH!! Can it be this guy?? :hyper:

No worries, the tour will be scheduled after lunch.
:flower3: Thank you!! Because I really want to go to Blue Bayou.

For those that are thinking about a tour, the VIP tour might be a good option. It is $300 for 4 hours and up to 10 people can book ($30 per person). Along with the tour, they can arrange special seating for parades and fireworks and fantasmic (if they are showing). A ride on the Lilly Belle can be arranged too.

I would be happy to set this up if there is interest.

Add me in, too, if there's still room!

I will be there on the 26th, with my 12 YO DD, and possibly my 18 YO DD. I would love to meet someone!!

I organized a Photopass sharing last October, so let me know if we need someone to organize it. The thread we had is gone, unless someone knows how to get to the older stuff. Basically, I set up an email account for the Photopass account. You CANNOT set up your own Photopass account, the cards cannot be shared between accounts. I would give everyone the logon and password for the PP account and we add the cards there. I think we had several hundred pictures, there is not limit. They will send however many CDs it takes. Then I'll copy the CDs and mail them to everyone. Depending on how many people participate will determine how much it costs. I think we had 6-7 people and it was about $25 each, including the cost of the CDs, mailers, and shipping.

I was going to ask if we were doing this, too! I'd love to do it. I participated with someone previously and it was great! Especially since, for us, we didn't get a ton of pictures, and it would have been way too much for us to have gotten one for regular cost.

ME too!! I want to do the VIP tour. I've done the Walk in Walt's footsteps tour and it was great! I also want to do a Segway tour.

Nice thing about planning to share a photopass CD is that everyone can get their own cards, so there can be pictures taken of each group when everyone splits, so everyone can see what was going on in other areas. :)

mommaU4, in case you want to know...the photopass photgraphers give you a card that gets scanned after they take pictures. When you share, or like I consider this group, if you have an extended family, after the trip one person gathers the cards or card numbers. Enters them into one account. Each person can go in and edit pictures they want to edit, and in this case where multiple people will be interested in the same pictures, there's no problem b/c each time you edit a picture, the edit is kept as a new picture. So you take one picture and crop it, now you have two pictures. Go back to the original and add a border. Now there are three pictures. Someone wants to crop AND add a border, 4 pictures. Multiplied by a gazillion. :) Then once everyone is done editing, the go-to person puts in the code (I assume she'll be pre-ordering) and orders the CD (they will make and send as many CDs as needed), then she'll copy it and send it out so everyone has a CD of the pictures and can print them, for their own personal use, as they wish.

A couple of things that everyone needs to be aware of:
  1. Photopass Account
A PP card can be entered into ONLY 1 PP account. If you set up an account yourself and enter your card number, it won't be able to be added to our group account.
  2. Timing
We only have 30 days from the time we start putting in the cards to make any changes before ordering the CDs. I don't think this will be a problem. I'm assuming that everyone will want them quickly.
If I think of anything else, I'll add it here.

I just had a thought, and some others may have had it too, I didn't go through the whole thread to check. Does anyone know anyone who has a membership at Club 33? That would be the icing on the cake!!!

That is on my "Bucket List"!!! (sorry, just saw that movie).:rotfl:
But really, visiting Club 33 is my dream! :cloud9:

This sound like a neat idea!!

Ohhhhhhhhh! Now she has my attention!!!! :)

Just wanted everyone to know, I'm planning on being there the whole time, barring anything unforeseen. If someone needs help planning or coordinating, I'm happy to help or take something on.

Molly- Thanks for the info on Photopass.

Stacie- Do you want me to add on the front post that you are over-seeing the Photopass sharing, or is that technically a no-no and something we shouldn't advertise....:confused3 :rolleyes1

Oooohh!!! I want to help to!! Maybe the second VIP tour or something? Since we got back from DL over Christmas, I have just been kinda hanging out... Not doing to much, and turning into quite the couch potato. I HATE that!!:rolleyes1 Not really... :lmao: :lmao: Since the boy is in Kindergarten, and dh has MASSIVELY cut down on over time, I dont have a whole lot to do anymore.. Well... I guess I could clean or something, but who wants that?:lmao: :lmao:

Thanks for the offer Michelle. I am sure at some point we will take you up on that. The best way to make this trip run smoothly is if everyone helps out and does what they can using whatever skills or contacts they may have.
(Like Callie with her DH working on the tees, or Stacie's previous experience with the Photopass)
Everyone has something they can contribute I'm sure. :thumbsup2

I won't be doing the tours on Sunday. Oddly enough, it's something that doesn't interest me greatly. I was thinking about going to Minnie's.....anyone else game??

Clean????? :scared1: :scared1: :scared:

I'll pretend I didn't hear that. ;)

Lesley might appreciate the help with the second tour. Ask her. :thumbsup2 Or if you want you could always start on the lists of who's going to Blue Bayou and/or Goofy's Kitchen since we pretty much know those two meals are a definite. Whatever you want or think you can take on without it being too much.
We don't want anyone to feel over whelmed when we have so many willing and able bodies. :dance3:

Well my BIL used to work for a company that had a Club 33 membership and I have had the pleasure of dining there twice. Unfortunately, he now works for Disney so no more Club 33 for me.

He just started working for Disney 2 months ago. If we did this girls trip a few months ago, I might have been able to help get in :sad1: .

We have a few things flying around....the VIP tour, the BB, Goofy, House of Blues, Jazz Kitchen, Yamabuki (or whatever the correct name is), possibly Minnie's, and the tours, plus, ideas about Sunday dinner.

I haven't chimed in on Sunday, but I'm really really open to where to go that night. We have really extended hours in the park, I'd kinda like it to be in one of the parks somewhere. But, that's not a deal breaker for me.

I haven't seen this out there yet, so I thought I'd post.

Hours while we're there....
Thursday and Monday 9-10 DL and 10-8 DCA
Friday, Sat. and Sun., 8-midnight and 10-10

Don't forget to add me and my friend Cathy to the VIP tour list!:cool1:

Oh, and the BB list!:thumbsup2

And the Photopass list (except I still don't get how this works, but I want to try it so I learn)!:goodvibes
