Well ladies, the kids are in bed, the suitcases are packed, and I'm exhausted. LOL

We are heading off to Disneyland in the morning. I am so excited!! I hope we have a nice time, and the crowds aren't too bad.

We'll be at DL until Monday afternoon and from there we head off to visit family in CA. We should be home Wednesday evening, so I'll talk to you all then.

I took down my slide shows. They needed to be updated as well. LOL After this trip I may put a new one up with some Christmas pics. We'll see.

I like the tshirt designs...they all look great! I am happy with any of the designs---so whatever the majority is that I what I want also.

As far as the shirt designs go:

I've briefly talked about this with Beth, but she's off to DL, so I'll just tell you my two cents.

I think we'll go ahead and keep the link to the stock designs I did, but lets face it. We KNOW that we can make something cute using stock images, and we already have a couple cute ones to choose from. But I really think it would be cool if someone came up with some awesome custom shirt design, you know what I mean? It could be totally unique! And once I got over my dumb ego (sorry for that), and could look at it from the "groups" perspective and not a "me" perspective, I realized that I WANT A COOL CUSTOM shirt.

So I'm asking any of you artistic ladies, your artistic friends, and DangerMouse's hubby , if any of you (or at least one of you) would take a little time to come up with something for us.

I think we should have a shirt design chosen by late January because it could take some time getting the design proofed, getting all the different sizes and names down, organizing a way for payment, putting in an order, having the shirts printed, boxed, and then shipped. It could all take several weeks.

And of course you can order two shirts if you want, but lets wait and see what the cost will be per person for a custom shirt, and then if it's still in the budget, we can go for two shirts!

So, how does that sound to everyone? I think it's a win-win!!!

I know where you're coming from.....I'm just happy to get away for some grown-up fun with some girlfriends! And we're going to DL!!! This could be the first time I ever get to ride California Screamin'.

I sent DangerMouse an "I'm sorry for making you feel bad" PM. I know she felt bad for making me feel bad, and now I feel bad for making her feel bad.....sounds like a female version of "Who's on First?".

Anyway, I let my emotions get in the way, and what she was offering us is a chance to have something really cool and unique, and she offered it out of friendship. So I'm hoping that she and her hubby will still want to help us out if they have the time.

I think it would be great to have a shirt that really draws attention to our group, not only the attention of the patrons at DL, but also the attention of Disney execs. I want them to know that the DisBoard ladies are there in the flesh! (And our reports/reviews/photos to follow!)

Hello ladies! Hope everyone had a good weekend. It's been pretty slow on this thread so everyone must be very busy with the holidays and life . I know I have.

I went shopping at the mall this weekend and it was horrible. The lines were horrible, the crowds were horrible, how people drive in the parking lot was horrible, and it was just plain horrible .

However, I took my kids to see Enchanted right after we shopped and that really changed our moods. It was such a cute movie . Even DS12 enjoyed it, although he won't admit it .

Well, I hope everyone is good and surviving the holidays .

We finished up last weekend and I know exactly what you mean about the amount of people and how chaotic it is this time of year.
We're leaving Wed. afternoon for DL for a couple of days. I'm pretty sure we're nuts for doing it, but at the same time we'll have a great time (I hope).

Have fun on your trip to Disneyland . Hope you and your family have a great time . Even if it's crowded, just enjoy the time with your family and enjoy the decorations. We'll probably be there for the day on Saturday or Sunday and I'm sure it will be a madhouse, but we're not really going for the rides.

I am thrilled I got a quick trip in to Disneyland last week, because now I have to plan the Craft Show I am running at my house this Saturday (I should offer Disboard stuff to have an excuse to meet some of the local dis'ers here in town haha!). It should be fun but there is so much to do.

I am thrilled I have done most of my shopping online or at craft shows, so far no mall for me I want my Disney box to get here soon since I snuck in something for me hahah
