Just printed out the iron on decal for my pillowcase but still need to get a pillowcase. Was at Fred Meyers last night and looked and their cheapest set was $14.00 ouch! I will go by Kohl's this weekend or Ross. Tried to get the decals for my shirt and sweatshirt but of course Staples was out of decals for dark fabrics. All these projects half done are drivin me nuts!!!!:scared1:

I've never had Magicale either so we'll find some together!
Me either. I want to try it but since I don't drink, odds are I'll hate it and someone will need to be handy to finish my glass. lol

Another idea for the photo, up on the train station platform.
I like that idea. And it would work if the start of the hunt is at the same location on Main Street as last year.

One thing I noticed form looking at last years pics as how much we all look like our moms! :)

I noticed that too!! It's neat. I think it would be cute if all the mom's and dd's could come up with matching hats or something of that nature for the pic. But I'll leave that up to y'all. :)

I had a hard time finding the dark tranfer paper, but I found it at Michaels.

Is doing the mother daughter photo right before the scavenger hunt the best time? That day is really crammed. If you want to keep that time, then the photo needs to be wherever the scavenger hunt is supposed to start (ask the team for that) - you won't have time to trapse across the park.

Thinking of last year - everything takes more time than you'd imagine.

I think it would be fun to do a group trip to the Anamation Building for a drawing lesson together. Anybody else up for this? I was thinking maybe after the Ariel's lunch, since so many will be in the area? Any thoughts?

You gals are chatty today!! Having a hard time keeping up . . .

I want to eat crab legs with Tina to celebrate her and Marty's anniversary!! YUM! Want to have a margarita with Capri before riding ToT with her. I like the idea of Small World or the Train Station Platform for the group pic just to be different. And Tina, I'll be happy to share Beth's leftover Magicale with you, since I know how much you like to share. :)

I'm at HomeConnections and the kids are frosting and decorating their cakes. I don't know how I'll stand having 2 frosted cakes in the house and not having a bite (diets suck!) Think they'll get mad if I tell them we have to toss them in the trash?? I'm so mean. . .

Ok, I'll probably just let them have cake for dinner so I won't have to cook, and then I'll throw the rest away. That's a much better plan!

:wave2: I'm right here and ready to help you, my friend!
:thumbsup2

Everything takes way more time. And yes that day is crammed, but so are most days, and we have to keep in mind that is one day that most everyone will be there. (I cannot remember off hand who's leaving Sunday morning...)

I guess it all depends.
If for example the hunt starts at 10:00, and we are taking the group photo up on the train platform, and we set the photo meet time for say.... 9-ish, and then the mother/daughter photo is in the same area right after the group photo but before the hunt, then yes, I think it would all work.

But we need to hear from Melody regarding the start location of the hunt, we need to hear from everyone if they think they can be ready for the group photo by 9, and we need to hear from the mother/daughter group if they are fine with taking the pic in the same general area as the group photo.

Lots of variables, which is why I said it's something we should start mulling over so we don't end up waiting till the last minute. I am fine with any location. And if the mother/daughter group can think of a different time or day that works better for all of them, hey, even better. :)

I could go for that. ::yes::

:

I can be ready by nine. and having both pics in the same area is fine with me. If all the Mom's and Daughters are there by nine and not all the rest we can do that pic first.

I like this idea a lot!

I like this idea too! :thumbsup2

That would be fun. I've never done that before either. :rolleyes1

(And I've never eaten at Ariel's, but I have all boys, so......wasn't gonna happen.)

Back off Tina! I am officially the one who gets to finish whatever drinks we talk Beth into trying that she then inevitably doesn't like :rotfl2: Tomorrow night I am sure that I will likely end up finishing her Otter Pop for her along with several of my own

My favorite photo spot won't work for the time we have selected for this year, but is one for the moms/daughters to keep in mind. I love, love, love the waterfall in DCA. There is a little recessed boardwalk that is my family's favorite place to watch the parades at DCA and to take a family picture, and the backdrop is totally stunning!

Chatty chatty! I need to catch up.

I just want to say my stomach feels a bit better and I have a doctor's appointment Monday after work. I should be a-okay until then.

Morning ladies!!

Couple things to think about over the weekend:

PM Cristabel with your candy choices if you haven't already.

PM Kerry with your cell phone number if you haven't already. Only those who PM her their number will get a list of all the numbers.

If you are thinking of signing up for the BBQ PM Sarah so she will be sure to add you. Sign ups for that close today.

Check the front page meal sign-ups. Some meals still have one or two openings so see if there's anything you want in on.

Work on a pirate team name if you don't already have one.

I guess that's mainly it. :)

Theresa is flying in to Vegas today so I'll be out and about most of the weekend. We are meeting Jane and Amy tomorrow night for dinner and then drinks at Kahunaville. I can't wait.
Thanks for all the reminders...its like having our own travel agent/secretary! Thanks for all your hard work coordinating these trips.
Hope you guys have a wonderful time :)

Just checking in real quick to see what's happening on the thread.

I Pm'd Kerry with my phone info. Now I have to think of what kind of candy to bring???

I had a nice time last night eventhough it was a little stressful trying to actually make it there. I had some babysitting issues & ended up leaving my older DD at home & had to beg a neighbor to pick my son up from his wrestling game. Then I ended up having to bring the baby. She's a good baby but I just really wanted to get out for a few hours alone.

It was nice seeing Jen since it will probably be awhile before I see her again :sad1:, but she looked great. It was fun just chatting the night away & enjoying a glass or 2 of Magicale (it was also my first time trying it- YUMMY). We have a great bunch of Divas & I always enjoying hanging out with you guys!!!

Have a great time!! It's always fun to meet up with some of the girls!!
I didn't know it was your first too...darn we could have toasted together as Magicale virgins!!

I would like to interrupt your regularly scheduled programming to bring you this important message: TGIF!

That is all.

Lots to do today at work, but my reward is getting to play with Beth, Theresa and Amy tomorrow night

Hope that everyone has a great Friday!
Thats the best interruption I've had all day!! woohoo :wizard:

OK, Capri. My goal for the trip is to help your reach all your goals. TOT included!

Kerry--you will experience the Billys on this trip! :lovestruc
wow...what a great Disney friend!! :thumbsup2

Heaven!:cloud9:

Katie, I didn't realize it was your first time. We would have recorded the moment.

The baby is really, really good. I've eaten with her several times and you wouldn't know there was a baby at the table.

I shopped in person to sit on couches and then finalized it over the internet. My house is also Ikea - great for desks and stuff but not couches (as you've probably figured out).
She is such a good baby....but is actually a huge distraction.......she is so cute and makes the funniest faces, that I was constantly losing track of conversations! She is so adorable!

I would love to go! I haven't been since it first opened and would love to do it again!

I like the idea of the photo at the train station. I bet you can get the Main Street photopass cm to help with it, or they may be able to send one over for the group shot.

Hope everybody had a great Friday! I saw the funniest pj's at Sears today. I took a picture with my phone but have to figure out how to send it.... They also had alot of really cute normal ones on sale.

Oh boy, I'm already nervous.

Might have to make my margerita the size of a Big Gulp. :rolleyes1

Works for me!

This is from Justin, my hubby:

That's my favorite ride, and I can NEVER get her to ride it with me. You're going to have to hook her up to a margerita intravenously to even stand a chance of getting her on the TOT, and if you do get her on the TOT, I'll buy YOU a margerita!

that is FUNNY! You will never find me on that ride. I'll walk the line with people and meet you at the photo's at the end. I'll even hold your margarita for you :)

Capri, it's not that bad, I promise! The series of drops is short and fun, not like what the Maliboomer does to you. Do you ride any of the other E tickets over at DL? Space? Splash? BTMRR?

The hunt will begin and end in the Carnation Plaza Garden area.
Okie doke. Good to know. Of course right now my mind is drawing a blank as to what's even over there that would be a good photo op, other than the caste of course.....

I just want to say my stomach feels a bit better and I have a doctor's appointment Monday after work. I should be a-okay until then.
Oh good.

Aw, well, I try, although goodness knows I'm not the best at ideas and all. But it's fun!
And speaking of fun, I am getting ready to head out to meet Theresa. Her plane got in safely and we are going to PF Changs for dinner and then to see a show.

I see I'm going to need to bring my whip.....

Oh wait, that might not be a threat for you. Might be more of a treat. ;)
Come on, if you ride, I'll ride. I've only been on it once but I'll tell you my trick. Keep your eyes shut the whole time, and ask to sit on the end, furthest on the inside. They have this bar thingy on the side there that I gripped onto and it was nice and stable and easy to get a death grip on. :thumbsup2

OKay ladies. I'm outta here. Have a great weekend. I'll pop in when I can, but not sure how often that will be.
TTYL!! :hippie:
