Jill - I love those footy jammers! I need to get moving on mine, too. I was going to put them on my Christmas list and let Breezy pick some out for me, but I didn't. So now the pressure is on.

Sorry I missed the group last night for Jenn's visit. Sounds like you guys had a really nice time. And yes, Laila is an exemplary child. Always so good. I understand why she is such a joy to Katie.

Anybody who needs PJ's still.......check out the sale racks & Kohl's, Sear's, Penny's, Target etc. I've seen a bunch of cute pj's on sale from the holidays (and not just holiday prints either)

I would roast to death in adult footed pj's and potty breaks would be the pits too I just thought they were so funny when I saw them

I have never been a fan of footy PJ's. I suffur from sweaty feet when I wear them and then I am all locked up in my jammies with a sweaty foot sauna. Not good.

Oh, and Capri, Tower of Terror is MY favorite...really. MY DD at age 7 said, "Kids wouldn't be so scared of it if they changed the name to tall ride with random bumps". Just a thought.

Hey I didn't tell you about the drama on my street. A neighbor man with dementia hijacked his wife's car at the post office and drove home. He first drove through the garage of a house two doors down...hit the back wall, broke the window in the back, drove through the garage door, screeched backwards into our driveway, luckily remembered which was the brake before going through our garage and my DH's just painted 66 corvette and then drove up the street and drove into his own garage through the wooden door. I came home to find my littel cul de sac full of three firetrucks, one ambulance and 6 police cars. The gentleman in question was taken to the hospital, and is luckily allright. How sad, my heart bleeds for his wife.

Okay back to DL planning.

Excellent question, Steph. I don't even remember what we did last year. But you're right, we should probably be sending a check to whomever is the treasurer of the group!

I think we are just going to pay at the M&G. I was also wondering if there is or should be a cost for the scavenger hunt to cover the cost of prizes and supplies?

Last year we sent $10 to one of the members of the Meet & Greet committee to cover the cost of food, drinks, etc. I haven't spoken with the rest of the group yet but I believe we will be doing the same thing this year. I'm not sure if it's $10, less or more. We'll post once we're sure!

No, I really wanted to do it but I signed up too late for the girls' trip and was only there about 24 hours.

I really would like to try a glass of Magicale. Can you buy it by the bottle to go? And can you get it anywhere else besides Napa Rose?

I bought 3 bottles at the DL hotel gift shop. PPH & the Grand all have it available to buy in there gift shops. I was never excorted off site or from DTD with the bottles. You should have no problem buying the bottles. I know that I am buying a couple more to take home.

If you can find Rosa Regale, it is just as good as Magicale, well sort of. But it is really good also.

Me either. I want to try it but since I don't drink, odds are I'll hate it and someone will need to be handy to finish my glass. lol

I have no problem sharing.

That's my favorite ride, and I can NEVER get her to ride it with me. You're going to have to hook her up to a margerita intravenously to even stand a chance of getting her on the TOT, and if you do get her on the TOT, I'll buy YOU a margerita!

First off Amy that is so sad about your neighbor but thank goodness he didn't hit your house or dh's car! WHEW! I hope he is ok and I agree I feel SO sorry for spouses of dementia patients. THEY are the ones who have it the worst I think!

As far as the pics usually I stay out of it and go with the flow but I think that we should DEF do it close to where the scavvy hunt is to save time and same with the mom/daughter pic. And I agree with beth about doing it on the same day cuz odds are pretty much everyone will be there AND we will already be wearing matching shirts. I know that the shirts I am bringing for the other 3 days won't match anyone else and I have a VERY smalls suitcase I am bringing so I don't have a whole lot of room for much else.

Those are just my thoughts on the subject but we'll see what others think!

Mel that is awesome about your license plate! How cute! Your hubby sounds like a sweetie!

And hey I am up for a group ride or ANY ride on TOT. I agree that is one of my favs as well and I could go on it over and over. And I am one of those annoying people that puts my hands up the entire time. I like to "fly" Makes it even MORE fun! Tee Hee!

And Linda I asked mom yesterday and she found the fares on Travelocity. I realized after I posted yesterday that I forgot to tell you. Sorry. Now again those were out of sac and for later in the month so I don't know if that makes a difference but anyway that is where she found them. Good luck!

Anywho it was such a YUCKY day yesterday that as soon as I picked up the girls we all got in our pj's and just sat around and watched tv. It was nice to just snuggle up and be cozy and just relax. We ALMOST forgot to watch Ghost Whisperer LOL. We were watching movies and at about 1 min till Katy reminded me. But I was really tired so after that we all hit the sac at 8!! YES I am an old fart!

Anyway today Shelby has her basketball clinic and then her first actual practice is on the 19th and that is when they will asign them to teams I guess and then her first "game" is on the 23rd. She is SOOOO excited. She has been wanting to play for several years. And then Katy has another indoor soccer game this afternoon. They have a playoff game NEXT Sat and although the program says Shelby has another skill clinic as well I THINK that is just if you don't go to the one today so hopefully that is the case and we just have the soccer. Then our coach wanted to know if the girls wanted to play one more soccer game on the 23rd but since it is shelby's first b-ball game I don't know if we are going to do that. Plus we should be hearing ANY time about swim sign ups and the actual season will be starting RIGH when basketball ends. WHEW! No breaks at ALL this year!

Anyway we also need to run to the store SOMETIME this weekend and hopefully we will finally make it to church. So KIND of busy weekend but not too bad.

I didn't know it was your first too...darn we could have toasted together as Magicale virgins!!

She is such a good baby....but is actually a huge distraction.......she is so cute and makes the funniest faces, that I was constantly losing track of conversations! She is so adorable!

I didn't know you never had Magicale until I saw Donna's post. I thought all the ladies at the table had it before (except for me & Kristen). I'm happy to say I'm no longer a virgin !

Well, its blurry, but these were adult footed pj's with the grinch, pirate or thing 1 and thing 2 on them. The feet looked like slippers, but they were the footed part...LOL The pirate ones were cute!

The pirate ones are fun! I like those.

If the staircase in NOS is open I think that would be a great location for a group photo!

I love that area. I'm just not sure we'd fit 35-40 ladies on at once.

I was up way to early this morning, so I decided to make myself useful and made pancakes; blueberry, banana walnut, buttermilk, and chocolate chip. Anyone hungry???

I am not eating them as I am meeting Theresa later for brunch. Last night was nice. Went to dinner and saw The Mentalist. Not too wild. We are saving our voices and energy for tonight and Kahunaville with Amy and Jane!!!!!

Did you all see that Cheryl posted that the hunt will start and end at Carnation Plaza Gardens.

At this time, we are not asking for any money for anything. I think next year we will.

For those of you who didn't play last year, this is what we did. We gave out the rules and instructions, handed out the questions and said GO!

All were instructed to be back by a certain time. When the teams came back, we immediately put down their time on the sheet, and started to grade it. So when all was said and done, the prizes went to the teams that came back first, along with the highest scores.

AmySue, LOL!! At first I laughed about your neighbor and him almost runnng into your DH's Corvette. Your DH would have reacted like mine. Dave has a couple of old cars too. But then one has to realize how sad it all is for this man, his wife and family. It really breaks my heart to see this happen to the old folk.
