Wow, I thought no one was watching! I've been trying my darndest to get through the box of Turtles I got from work and I think I finished off about 5 of them today but there are still a few left. Tomorrow is the day though, so I am just going to have to hide them for an emergency (come on, you know you all have emergency chocolate somewhere). I have been pretty good at putting things in the back of the cupboard and forgetting about it until the moment hits, usually a couple of months into a good healthy eating period, so maybe I can make it until the end of February. Then all bets are off until after the trip, when I need to figure out how to maintain and keep it off.

Note to self...Must get an emergency chocolate put away somewhere.

I REALLy want some chocolate! But my house is a chocolate free zone ***!!

I am trying to get the kids & I ready for school tomorrow.
I am not ready to go back at all.......I want one more week!

I'm excited! I just got front row tickets for Disney's Live Mickey's Road Show later this month. The boys turn 2 and 3 on the 29th and Feb 1st. This will be for their birthday. It looks really cute, and the boys loved the video clip they had. I hope they enjoy it. It will be their first time ever seeing the 'real' Mickey and friends! Here's a link for those of you with little ones. I'll let you know how it was after the 22nd!

In looking at our schedule so far, I think the best time for a group viewing of the Billys will be the Saturday 5:15 show. In order for us to get the front-row seats, we will have to meet in front of the Golden Horseshoe by 4:25. That way, we will swoop in and grab our tables as the audience from the 4:00 show is leaving. This worked perfectly for us in October.
We will have 45 minutes to chat, take potty breaks or grab snacks before the show starts.
Does this sound ok to everybody?

Woo-Hoo! I can't wait!!!!!! :charac2::charac2::charac2::charac2:

I think it sounds great! Thanks so much Tina for organizing this. I forgot that CC was Friday night when I suggested it. Sat night is perfect. :goodvibes

I have a room reserved at the HOJO for Feb 24th thru March 2. I am flying in on the 24th since I am coming from Ohio. Does anyone want to room with me? I really don't have the extra cash to be in a room by myself. Please help me with an idea if everyone already has a roomie!!!:worship:

I can finally focus on this trip now that the holidays are over. I know that I need to look into getting shirts made. I have my airline ticket. I have a room booked, but looking for a roomate. I have signed up for lots of meal reservations. I need to buy my park pass...Is the $169 5 day pass the cheapest way to go? What else do I need to do??? What else do I need to think about?:confused3

Oh yeah, I need to work on a pillowcase thing for the exchange.

Daisy

Good morning!

Speaking of pillowcase stuff, I need to get mine. Or at least start planning it..

Good morning and Happy Monday!

Sounds like everyone had a great weekend and end to their vacation!

Ours was really kick back. Didn't do much of anything yesterday which is the way I like it ;)

Today is back to the same ol same ol. I agree with Beth and Jill that it will be nice to get back to the routine a bit and have some "alone" time BUT having to get up at 6 again and then having to deal with taking the kids to school and picking them up and then of course the homework I am NOT looking forward to!

As I mentioned before I have work today and I have to make copies of all the corp books to bring home so I can start in on the taxes. YUCKO. My LEAST fav part of my job. I not only do the corp books but I do OUR personal taxes as well. Of course I won't have to worry about THOSE until the end of the month because our stupid accountant at work NEVER gets the W2's out to us till the VERY end of the month which TOTALLY annoys me cuz there is only 2 of us! I REALLY count on my refunds and I HATE that I have to wait so long. Cuz all I ever need is mine and Shane's. We don't have to wait for anything else but what else is new. Plus I am hoping to get our refund back in time for the trip but we shall see.

Not much else planned for this week. The girls go back to Awana on Wed and then Sat Shelby starts basketball and I THINK it is Katy's last indoor soccer game although on the schedule it says there is a game on the 16th although there is no times so not sure.

I don't know about you all but I am SO ready for this trip! Can't wait!!! :)

Saturday sounds great. But they have changed the show times and number and length of the shows so now they are 25 minutes and the last 2 shows start at 4:30 and 5:30. So we could go for the 5:30 show, and maybe get there at 4:45 so that we will be first in when the previous show lets out at 4:55. What do you think?

Morning girls

Today is the first day of Winter qtr. I am ready to take a nap.
I am so sleepy.

I hope everyone has a great morning.

Okay, who else is eating all their chocolate today so they can start eating healthy tomorrow??? Besides me???

Let me know if you want that time added to the schedule. I'm fine with it.

Just a quickie from me for now. I've got to finish getting the twins ready for school. Wow, I wish it was still Christmas break, or even summer!! I hate rushing to get everyone off to school. And I know it's going to be so lonely and quiet in here once they are all gone.

Later!!

If you want a lanyard for the trip, you need to PM me! :thumbsup2 The info is on page 154.

Good morning everyone! I hope all of you are having a great day. :goodvibes

My parents and I went to the Cheesecake Factory last night and I still feel bloated this morning. I knew I shouldn't have had a martini and a piece of cheesecake for dessert. I totally overdid it, but boy oh boy did I enjoy every minute of it. :thumbsup2

Callie and Dan - I love the lanyard insert design! I just might have to print it out and also make the shirt and wear them the same day you all do so I can feel like I'm there with you. :hyper:

Courtney - I know what you mean about HBP. It was like a crappy Cliff Notes version of the book, but they added things and left things out. grrrr.... I almost rather them do DH as two movies so they don't take out a whole bunch of things.

Heather - Congrats on the tickets! How exciting for your boys.

Daisy - How exciting that you're finally able to start getting everything for the trip! I hope you're able to find a roomie. :goodvibes

Trudi - Those cookies look so yummy!

Chocolate girls - I got rid of my candy as soon as I received it. It was hard (especially getting rid of the See's candy :faint:). I did cheat a little and ate the York peppermint patties I received. Now I must stop talking about candy before I go track some down.

Like most of you, it's back to work for me today. I enjoyed my little break immensely and got so much done, but now it's back to reality. :scared:

I allow myself one little piece of dark chocolate a day. Deprivation doesn't work for me!!

Speaking of rooms, Heather and I were talking last night and she's leaving on Sunday, can't remember when Callie and Katie are leaving, but I'm not leaving until Monday. Who else is not leaving until Monday (or Tuesday), but their roomies are leaving Sunday? Maybe we could consolidate rooms to give us a lower cost.

Another thing, I know some of us are arriving at the same time and may use the Disneyland Express, but there also has to be 5 of us leaving at the same time. I'm not sure if that will work... I have me, Heather, Becci, and Deb all arriving on Thursday around 10:30-11:30am. But Heather is leaving on Sunday, I'm leaving sometime Monday afternoon...

Add me to the list of those needing to get a pillowcase. I don't even know where to look. Oye.

Daisy, if you are not coming back to DL within a year, I think the PH is the best option. If you think you might come back, I'd get a Deluxe AP. It would pay for itself in two visits and then you would be forced to come back later this year for one of our mini-meets. Oh darn. ;)

Alright ladies, we're on!! I'm not creative so one of my other team members needs to come up with a name and name tag design. Then we need to figure out our strategy!!

That's what I was thinking. Any excuse to come back is necessary!!

Now a regular post from me.

I can't wait to see the names you guys come up with. Last year's were really good!:goodvibes

Callie, the lanyards look great.

I love me some chocolate too. :cloud9:

I better get going now.

I'm going to a funeral, then taking My DD Becky to look for fabric for her new baby's room.

Have a nice day ladies, and I hope you are all pleased with your teams. If not, then I had better :duck:.

Woo-hoo! Capri and Katie, I will try to not be my overly competitive self and run you all over the park. I will try. But I can't make any promises. :rolleyes1

So about 10 minutes after I read about Ruben's back, Marty came hobbling in. He was riding his bike, and you guessed it, his back is totally out. He can barely move. Of course, he managed to put his bike up on the rack, take a shower, get dressed and make his eggs before he came in to tell me. So I have him back in PJs on the couch, hopped up on Aleve and laying on an ice pack. So totally not the way we wanted to start the week!

Stacie, I'm leaving on Monday as well. Not sure what time. I think my friend, Michelle is going to come get me so we can hang out, and then take me to the airport.
