Not much going on here. We got our new furnace...and of course its been 75-80 degrees all weekend...LOL But thats ok!
All the Christmas stuff is down. I have a bit more sorting to do and I really need to part with some stuff before it all goes to storage again. Why, oh why do I hang on to so much "stuff".
I have a few things to return at Macy's and Target, but will save that for Tuesday when I'm off. I sorted all my coupons...changing from 09 to 2010 made it much faster to toss out the old ones. Bill's are paid and table is cleaned off...will do the desk next.
Kids go back to school tomorrow....kind of glad to get a few hours of "me" time, but not looking forward to being up early and homework again. I am looking forward to getting back in a routine again...I do better with that. My holiday A.D.D. is gone so I'm able to get stuff done without those "shiny" distractions. I have lots of gift cards to use up and am excited to do some shopping.
I have made NO new years resolutions, but will be focusing alot on my health & excercising and decluttering my house & life
Hope everybody has enjoyed their first weekend of 2010! Do something special for yourself....you deserve it!!

It has been a long 4 days at work! I am exhausted! We went to Costco this morning. I forgot my list so we only got half of the stuff we needed. On Saturday the boys & I are going to Spokane so we will make another fun trip to Costco.

I am not looking forward to getting up for school in the morning. UGh....

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.
Yesterday we went to celebrate my uncle's birthday at his house. My aunt's sister also lives with them and her dog, Mandy had puppies the weekend after Thanksgiving. They're about five weeks old and the cutest things! Since my uncle's SIL is living with the family the kids (ages 10,8,&6)have named the puppies.

There's Daisy, ninja, snowflake, brownie and Clipper.



I believe I'm snuggling Snowflake and Brownie



That's the proud mama, Mandy on the outside of the pen. She won't feed them very long anymore and I think that may be her way of weaning them. She gets "Cabin fever" from being stuck in the garage so she loves when she gets a break to go outside and play with Charlie (a weimaraner).


I just finished doing a lot of dishes and don't plan on doing much else

This week is a week of fun for Anais and me.

Went to Disneyland yesterday, no crowds at all. Pretty much walked on every ride except for Peter Pan. Oh those yummy cookies !

Hi all! Thanks for the great comments! Kelly, I am not even close to my goal weight yet but am just past the half way mark on my journey. I always lose it in my face first which is fine with me but now I need to get it off of my hips! I look forward to you joining us back on the Wish thread soon!

Ask Bree about the last time I bought some yarn to crochet...
She wanted a scarf hand made by her momma for her 18th b-day (among other things of course), so she picked the colors and I started it. Her bday came and went, so did the next few bdays. She always asked me "mom, when am I gonna get the scarf I've wanted for three years?". On her 21st bday, she did. She loves it and wears it, but isn't sad that I am so bad at "crafts" and such?

Ooooohh! I'm just starting to get excited about our trip! Now that the holidays are over and it is coming up NEXT MONTH it is starting to seem more real!

I just made up a tentative household budget for the year and realized that our expenses as I have estimated them come out to about $2000 more per month than we usually make. The budget does call for reducing our credit card debt and using a little bit for travel and entertainment, but it looks like those things are going to have to suffer unless we can increase our income. I am trying to find a better paying job and Mike is trying to get more work, so we will see how it goes. At least my airfare and AP are paid for, and I will have $225 in Disney Rewards to spend on the trip so I think I should only need about $300 to take with me. Not too bad so I am NOT going to feel guilty!

I hear ya, sister. We used to save a lot of money every year. No problem. Just put it in the budget. Well, we haven't saved a dime in 4 years. And we've taken more out of savings than I will admit. EVERYTHING just costs more these days. **Sigh** But I agree, no guilt!

We had a great day in Pasadena and a super nice lunch with Donna & her DH. I got lost for an hour trying to find the restaurant and kinda took it out on her because a) I hate to drive but had to cause DH was too tired, b) I have no patience and c) I was starving. So, I am sorry Donna, but I know you forgive me because you gave me a big hug!

Been running errands all day. Got a new phone and it is not being nice. I can't figure it out. I also started back on weight watchers today. Meeting lasted way longer than I had planned. But it was still good. I am dragging though. I start my new job tomorrow and feel so unprepared. And I can't think of anything that will make me feel prepared. So I guess I will just jump in and see what happens.

Hey everyone! I'm feeling a little better, and have to work tomorrow. I can't call off sick two days in a row unless I'm dead.

We watched Up! again tonight. It made me cry 3 times. It's such a sad, touching, funny movie. We all love it.

I thought I'd ask if anyone has any extra Disney Movie Rewards codes that they are not using? I know not everyone does it, and if you have any new codes, I'd love to take them off your hands. Please PM me if you have some. I don't know what I'm saving up for, but it will be something fabulous in the end I'm sure.

I'm so looking forward to the trip.

Tina, can you maybe think about doing the group Billy show on Friday? I leave on Sunday, but would LOVE to do that with everyone. I think Sat will be too busy with the SH and all.

I can't wait to find out about the SH. I'm excited about the hints Dawn told us. The pirate stuff, and teams names and such. It's going to be so much fun, even for the bench warming group.

Yes, thats where I saw Maynard, in the area right before you go in the theater. Only 18 people in the theater, kinda sad, but maybe because it was an un-crowded day. I though Lincoln was great, and I was just as amazed as I was back then when he stood up !

Wow, I thought no one was watching! I've been trying my darndest to get through the box of Turtles I got from work and I think I finished off about 5 of them today but there are still a few left. Tomorrow is the day though, so I am just going to have to hide them for an emergency (come on, you know you all have emergency chocolate somewhere). I have been pretty good at putting things in the back of the cupboard and forgetting about it until the moment hits, usually a couple of months into a good healthy eating period, so maybe I can make it until the end of February. Then all bets are off until after the trip, when I need to figure out how to maintain and keep it off.
