Saturday sounds great. But they have changed the show times and number and length of the shows so now they are 25 minutes and the last 2 shows start at 4:30 and 5:30. So we could go for the 5:30 show, and maybe get there at 4:45 so that we will be first in when the previous show lets out at 4:55. What do you think?

OK, let's wait for the shedule for the actual day to come up on Disneyland's calendar, and we'll pick an exact time then. But for now, Beth, can we have it on our schedule for Saturday late afternoon. Exact time TBA?

I have a room reserved at the HOJO for Feb 24th thru March 2. I am flying in on the 24th since I am coming from Ohio. Does anyone want to room with me? I really don't have the extra cash to be in a room by myself. Please help me with an idea if everyone already has a roomie!!!

ISpeaking of rooms, Heather and I were talking last night and she's leaving on Sunday, can't remember when Callie and Katie are leaving, but I'm not leaving until Monday. Who else is not leaving until Monday (or Tuesday), but their roomies are leaving Sunday? Maybe we could consolidate rooms to give us a lower cost.

Another thing, I know some of us are arriving at the same time and may use the Disneyland Express, but there also has to be 5 of us leaving at the same time. I'm not sure if that will work... I have me, Heather, Becci, and Deb all arriving on Thursday around 10:30-11:30am. But Heather is leaving on Sunday, I'm leaving sometime Monday afternoon...

I believe both of my roomies will be gone early...I am not leaving until Tuesday. Capri, when are you leaving again? Any idea about January? I would be interested in consolidating rooms if it works out.

I can finally focus on this trip now that the holidays are over. I know that I need to look into getting shirts made. I have my airline ticket. I have a room booked, but looking for a roomate. I have signed up for lots of meal reservations. I need to buy my park pass...Is the $169 5 day pass the cheapest way to go? What else do I need to do??? What else do I need to think about?

Oh yeah, I need to work on a pillowcase thing for the exchange.

I knew I shouldn't have had a martini and a piece of cheesecake for dessert. I totally overdid it, but boy oh boy did I enjoy every minute of it.

So about 10 minutes after I read about Ruben's back, Marty came hobbling in. He was riding his bike, and you guessed it, his back is totally out. He can barely move. Of course, he managed to put his bike up on the rack, take a shower, get dressed and make his eggs before he came in to tell me. So I have him back in PJs on the couch, hopped up on Aleve and laying on an ice pack. So totally not the way we wanted to start the week!

Oh no! I hope both our guys are back on their feet and feeling good soon.

Courtney - I know what you mean about HBP. It was like a crappy Cliff Notes version of the book, but they added things and left things out. grrrr.... I almost rather them do DH as two movies so they don't take out a whole bunch of things.

I'm excited! I just got front row tickets for Disney's Live Mickey's Road Show later this month. The boys turn 2 and 3 on the 29th and Feb 1st. This will be for their birthday. It looks really cute, and the boys loved the video clip they had. I hope they enjoy it. It will be their first time ever seeing the 'real' Mickey and friends! Here's a link for those of you with little ones. I'll let you know how it was after the 22nd!

We took Ty to see this when it was in Vegas back in October and he loved it! Dave and I also enjoyed it, but be warned in advance that the tickets are the cheapest part of the day. Things like popcorn, snowcones, cotton candy were all $10 each and the souvenirs were even higher priced than at the parks. And, at least at the arena we saw it at, they did not accept credit cards. Being one who rarely uses cash, I was sooo not prepared and Ty ended up crying because he didn't get cotton candy that came with a Tigger hat. He got over it eventually, but in case your boys are like mine (who wants everything he sees) you should be prepared!

But, the show itself is cute and I was surprised to find that it even had an intermission (something pretty rare in Vegas). So when I thought it was wrapping up, it was actually only halfway over. Ty loved the music and being able to dance and of course seeing all of his Disney friends on stage. In addition to Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy, the show also featured Cinderella (with a quick cameo from the stepsisters), Buzz, Woody and Jessie, and Tigger.

Now, we have tickets to see Disney on Ice in 2 weeks thanks to a great promotion that brought the price down to about $15 each for seats about 8 rows off the ice. So, I should have a review for that show in the coming weeks.

Good morning everyone!

Today is my first day back at work after 16 days off and I am totally not excited to be here. BUT, after 4 days of constant togetherness with Dave, Ty and my sister and her GF, I am ready for a break iykwim!

On Saturday we took the girls to the Strip and spent most of the day sightseeing between Paris, Planet Hollywood/Miracle Mile, the Bellagio, Caesar's, the Forum Shoppes and the Flamingo. I was absolutely exhausted by 5:30 pm and it reminded me why I don't hit the Strip very often.

Yesterday we hit both of the outlet malls and while I didn't find too much, the Disney Store had some amazing deals and I brought home a bagful of stuff for $10 including a new pair of swimtrunks for Ty and a few goodies for my pillowcase exchange. It's sad, but I have all the extras in place now, but I still don't have a clue on the pillowcase itself!

Hope that all is well and congrats to all who are back on the diet bandwagon. I am slowly getting there as I am back to Lean Cuisine for lunch as of today, but I know that dinners will still be in "company mode" for the next 2 days until the girls head back to Ohio on Wednesday.

My new 2010 chocolate motto....is after I've had at least 4 servings of fresh fruits/veggies, I can have a small smackeral of chocolate. I figure it will make me eat more fruits/veggies and just knowing I CAN have it, makes it easier for me mentally. When I try to give up chocolate completely, I can't get it off my mind and eat/breathe and dream chocolate....LOL
So far I've had a banana and 2 tangerines

For the pillow case.... is everybody buying them made already or making/decorating them yourselves? Is there a special logo or decorating theme for the meet/greet? Kohl's had a bunch of 1/2 off bedding including pillow cases.

Also, is the lanyard the main graphic for this trip?
