I printed it out but in order to iron it on, I will have to turn it over and the writting will be backwards. So what am I doing wrong?:confused3

I'm glad you asked that question, because I was thinking the same thing. Is the dark color transfer different in printing than the white stuff? I've never done a transfer on the paper made specifically for dark fabric....

Is there anyone I can PAY to do mine and mom's cuz I SO am not going to be able to figure this out. :(

I had some drama with my parents and it ended up being the start of a bad day. For all those with loving & supportive parents, please hug them and be grateful for them .

I am so thankful for my supportive parents! I wish everyone could experience that!

Although, truth be told, I don't really feel like it. I am feeling out of sorts. Without going in to TMI, let's just say Aunt Flo is visiting me waaaay too often. I need to call my doctor and see if I can make an appt and figure out what's going on. It's got me a little scared and imagining the worst. :sad2:

Alright, have a good one ladies. TTYL! :hippie:

Yuck! I'm sure its nothing to worry about except your body changing, but how inconvenient!

So I bit the bullet and I bought the UGGs this morning. I really need to stay away from the Budget Board....:rolleyes1

Yay for Uggs! I REALLY want to buy some but will probably hold off. I have been frequently checking out the Budget Board also. Not always a good thing! :scared1::laughing:

Hey everyone! We missed you all!! MouseAdventure was fun, but I don't think I have ever been at Disneyland when it rained all day! LITERALLY ALL DAY!!

Glad you all had fun! PJ's tend to be the items I forget to pack also.!:confused3 Not sure why!

We had a busy weekend. Yesterday Grant's choir at church performed at all 4 services. He had a small solo in one of the songs. He just LOVES singing! (a little unusual for a 10yo boy, I know! ) There are some pics and a video clip on FB if you're interested. :thumbsup2

Good Morning Divas!

Got some good sleep last night, so I'm feeling a lot happier today. :goodvibes

So, does anyone want to make some t-shirts???

Here's the links to the pdf's for printing on the shirts. Since we are printing these on black shirts, Dan set them up specifically for the transfers for dark colored material (which means the image does NOT need to be reversed).

Here's the first large design which can be used on the front or back:

Here's the small emblem for use on the front left of a hoodie or sweatshirt:

Dan also included trim lines to show you where to cut the transfers prior to ironing.

Beth, you gonna put these on the front page??? Thanks! pirate:

Thanks Callie! (and Dan!)
Now for people like me that don't have an ounce of craftiness in my body - what do I do. Is there another option other than begging and pleading for someone to do one for me!:lmao:

A quick hello!

We had a GREAT time at MA! We felt we did well for being our first time and with the wet weather. Yay! We did get quite a few correct after reading postings on the other site. We are already looking forward to the next event! We learned so much and had a lot of fun. The best part was that we never had to have a 'Dumbo' wrestling match either! I am very proud of our family team!! The rain was fun at first but by 6pm it was no longer fun and we were drenched through and through! We did see Carol and team at breakfast and I went over and introduced myself and said hello and we also were working on the same quest at one time but only eye contact allowed. :rotfl: Only saw Dashing Divas from a distance in the ball room. We only took the official picture for the day but we took our Christmas card picture the next day during MM in front of the castle with not a soul around! Lucky!

We then met Linda, DH and Bree for dinner and had a really nice time with them! The kids were bored to death with all of our adult talk but they hung in there better than I thought they would after a really tiring day! I was proud of them! Poor Donna and DH cancelled because of the weather and I don't blame them! I would have stayed in and been warm and dry too! We missed you Donna.

I'm swamped with work today. I am getting a new hotel group in Hawaii...hmmm wonder if I get to make a trip over there??!! :cloud9:

Gotta run...Hawaii is calling. :)

Glad you had fun this weekend. That is something I'd love to try sometime! But Hawaii sounds really good right now too! We haven't seen the sun here in the Bay Area for days!

Vicki, what was your team name, I can't remember. You saw us?? We didn't see you!!

Here's the 3 pics I have:

Great pics! Looks like you guys had fun! Would love to see what you looked like after being in the rain all day!:rotfl:

Well, my dad's nurse came to see him today, and after consulting with my dad's cardiologist, they insisted that he go to the hospital immediately. So my mom had to call 911, and he's on his way as we speak.

Poor mom. I know she's exhausted and probably ready to just break down. :sad1:

Well, maybe she'll be able to rest a bit now that dad will be in the capable, caring hands of nurses and doctors.

I'm sorry Capri. I can't imagine how hard this must be for you.

DIVAS YOU ARE AMAZING!!!

Okay so I was on the phone all morning trying to get some things taken care of, when my doorbell rang at about 11:00am. I looked a mess (didn't even have a bra on yet :scared1:), but I still answered the door.

It was the mailman with an Express mail delivery .
He says "I got a delivery for Debra".
Me "I'm sorry you have the wrong house".
He looks at the envelope "Oh, it's from Debra it's for Katie".

I opened the envelope & was in shock. There was a cute Christmas card & generous gift card from several of the Divas. I don't even know what to say, I've been very emotional lately & your thoughtfulness is making me cry (in a good way ). It's over 3 hours later & I'm finally composed enough to post my gratitude.

You guys will never understand how much you mean to me. I really don't have many friends. Most of them disappeared the more problems I started to have (they were fake friends). But you guys always gave me encouragement through all my problems & that means more than you know.

Love you guys :hug::hug:.

Merry Christmas Katie! :santa:

See, you might as well be speaking Greek. I didn't understand any of that.

Is there anyone I can PAY to do mine and mom's cuz I SO am not going to be able to figure this out. :(

:rotfl: Kelly, I am right with you! :)

I used the paper that said For Colored Fabric. Maybe that's the wrong kind. I only have that and For White Fabric. Once I get it right I will have no problem ironing it on the sweatshirt.

Good morning!
Just here studying for my music 307 final. Bye!

Good luck on your final, smart girl! :teacher:

I thought it was weird myself. My mom called 911 and got a busy signal. :confused3

Must've been a busy night for emergency personnel in Spokane last night.?

Thank goodness it wasn't life or death with your Dad. That would have been horrible.

Good Morning Divas!

Got some good sleep last night, so I'm feeling a lot happier today. :goodvibes

Glad you're feeling better! These are wonderful. Please tell your DH thank you. :wizard:

Thanks. The total was $112

Oh that's not bad at all. I think I need new Uggs. I want black ones. :rolleyes1

Aww, bummer. Hope that cough goes away soon.

Thank you, Beth! :) I'm going to go get some cough drops or something right now.

Yeah, NO, you really wouldn't have wanted to see us. It was not a pretty sight!!!

Courtney, your card came this weekend while I was gone, it is SO cute! Other than a corner of it that looked like someone took a bite out of it, guess someone was hungry or there are mice living in the post office!

:rotfl: It wasn't me! I think they are hungry mice at the post office! :lmao:

Hi hi everyone!

I had a great weekend, and want to thank Stacie again for her excellent chauffeur skills and friendship. It was a great weekend, and I really enjoyed visiting with her and her daughters.

The rain rain rain came down down down, and we were VERY wet! My Dashing Diva's shirt was ruined. The red ran all over, my bra is now tie dyed with the green of the t shirt underneath, and I still feel damp inside.

After it was over, we went back to the hotel and dried off, I curled my hair thinking it wouldn't take too long in the rain to get to dinner. That was a huge waste of time. I still felt like a drowned rat at dinner. I want to thank Cheryl and her friend Brandy for a wonderful evening. I really enjoyed talking with them.

We all missed Dawn. About halfway through dinner I got a cold chill. Dawn was saying hello. When they handed out the awards for team mascot, I could just see her up there in all her bling with Churro dressed in his holiday finest. He would've won for sure!

I missed seeing Vicki and Carol. I met Carol at breakfast and she was delightful. We should've exchanged numbers before going so that we could find each other to say hello before the contest. I was looking forward to seeing Vickie also.

Breakfast was good, but the company was better. Linda, DH, Bree, Carol, Michelle, Zoe, her friend, and I enjoyed RBT. We then went on a group ride on Pirates before splitting up. I only had a couple of hours left, and I still had lots of Christmas shopping left to do! Linda's DH looks great even though his battle with cancer is wearing him out. I was thrilled to meet him.

Donna, I rode in the front with Carol and warned her about that 3rd drop! It sure does sneak up on ya! :lmao:

I bought lots of great stuff. My two favorite things were my Mickey wreath advent calender and my HM picture. It is the one with Mickey, Goofy, and Donald posing as the hitchhiking ghosts in front. The painting has 13 hidden ghosts and features in it. I love it! I also purchased some more Mickey kitchen stuff, and the retro designed Disneyland things were 40% off. I got the laptop case to match my mousepad and umbrella that I got in Feb.

It was a great quick weekend, and I didn't eat any of the special things I wanted to try other than a gingerbread cookie. I only rode 3 rides during the 3 days there! :scared1: (Well, on day of MA and two days of a few hours.) We did make it to the fireworks Friday night, but missed the castle lighting ceremony.

I can't wait to be unpregnant so that I can do a full blown MA now!

Hello Divas!

It was a super busy crazy weekend for me. Bummed I didn't get to meet up with the gals for breakfast.

Do we have a crafting for dummies to explain how to do the shirts for me??

I had an OB appointment today. Everything looks great!

She is measuring 6 days ahead now, and has a really strong heartbeat. (My boys were both big, Nathan was over 9 pounds 4 weeks early!) She was just a kickin and punchin me! It's amazing to see how far she's come in 4 weeks. Remember the dot I posted? :thumbsup2 Well she now has a head, and eyes, and arms and legs, and a belly! I'm in love already. :goodvibes

Here's her latest picture!

Sorry I don't have time to respond to everyone gals, we're late and heading out the door, but wanted to offer this quick explanation:

First, YES, there is a difference between LIGHT material transfers and DARK material transfers. You really want to use the dark material ones for black shirts because otherwise the image will look bad. The colors will disappear into the black shirt. At least that's how Dan is explaining it to me. They also talk about this over on the Creative Board in one of the stickies.

With the traditional light color transfers, you print out the image reversed, then put the printed side against the fabric and iron the back then peel off the backing.

With the DARK material transfers, you print the image normally and not reversed. Then you have to peel the backing off and put it on your dark material with the image up. Then they give you a piece of parchment type paper that you put over your image to iron it on.

CLEAR AS MUD??

With the light color you iron and peel off the backing, with the dark, you peel off the backing first and iron it down.

It's really not that hard, and each dark transfer paper comes with instructions.

I missed see you too Heather. I really thought we'd run into you before MA started but there were so many people in the ballroom, a lot more than I was expecting. 700 people/200 teams! The kids had a great time and were so excited that morning - we all had a really good time despite the rain!
I'm glad that you had a good time too!

Hope to see you at DL sometime soon or in Feb.

I still have a good chunk of $ on my fun card.

Seriously. I think I'm going to get it professionally done because I want it too look nice and LAST!

Yay for a baby girls! :lovestruc I'm glad she's healthy and everything is going smoothly. I love babies.

Katie: Yay, I'm so glad you got it! Merry Christmas! I've been waiting and waiting for you to post something about it. I'm sorry to say I wasn't aware about your surprise until after I received my surprise, so I wasn't able to contribute to it, but I am so happy for you! Aren't our friends just the best people in the world. I honestly don't know a more wonderful group of people than this one right here!

Heather: Awwww, she's a little bundle of cuteness already.:cutie:

BTW - I've received several Christmas cards and I love them all! :santa: :cloud9:

Hopefully the Christmas cards I sent out don't offend anyone. I mean, they're not that bad or anything, but I appologize in advance if you didn't like them. :rolleyes1

My dad is being admitted to the hospital. I haven't heard much yet other than that. I won't be able to go see him until tomorrow, but I'm sure mom will keep me updated as she receives information from the doctors. Thanks everyone for all your prayers and well wishes! :grouphug:
