Beth, can you please add my Mom and I to Ariel's Grotto? Thank you!
Will do. :thumbsup2

You are probably wondering what the heck you have gotten yourself into reading this junk but we have been posting for almost 2 years and these guys mean a lot to me so I am so glad that I can share what is going on with them as they are so supportive!
:grouphug:

Beth, Can you please take me off the list for Napa Rose on Sunday night and Blue Bayou on Monday night? Thanks!
You got it. :thumbsup2

As for me, I had a CRAZY BUSY weekend!
Hey Sarah, I loved reading about your weekend. Sounds really busy, but so festive and fun!! :goodvibes Glad it all went well and you got a date night. ;)

It's raining, it's raining, it's raining, it's raining, it's raining!!! :yay:

Oh hey, guess what???

It's raining!!

:teeth:

So on the sign ups is it better to make ressies for more people & then if they can't make it...it would be one less.......... or is it better to just not sign up?

It's raining here too. We are supposed to get snow tonight. :cool1: It's going to drop down to 16 degrees. :scared1:

Just an update in case anyone missed it on the stocking thread or on FB, but.......the last stocking has arrived!!!!!!!

YES!!!! That means time to open those packages and goodies ladies. :santa:

I think we are going to do it tonight, anytime after 7:00.

Have fun and make sure to post what you got and from who. And if you can, post a pic too. That makes it extra fun!!! :yay:

Here's the picture I submitted today for our MouseAdventure shirt; of course I had to use the skinny girl for our model:

Better to make it for one more. It's harder to add on later, than it is to subtract. We can always say someone couldn't make it or got sick, etc.

It's raining here too!!! It's been raining since last night! Woo!
:thumbsup2

Yikes!!! Be safe.

Love it! Love the shirt, love the scarf, love it all. :thumbsup2

It's been pouring here too. When I went out at lunchtime the streets were almost flooded. It got sunny for a few minutes, but now is dark and grey and raining again.

Not a major tragedy, but I am almost out of disposable contact lenses. I was supposed to go to the eye dr. on Dec. 2nd, but it was right after the weekend in Vegas and I just didn't feel like it--plus was swamped at the office. The next appointment I could get was Dec. 16th. I realized yesterday that I only had five days of lenses left--no problem--I can make them last and wear my glasses on days I didn't have something to dress up for. Uh, no--my glasses BROKE on the way to work today. I took them off to wipe some raindrops off of them and crack! Of course, they are like 8 years old, so it's not like I wasn't expecting to have to get some new ones eventually--but rotten timing! I called the dr.'s office to see if they could mail me a week's supply or so--no, they can't mail samples. I will have to go to Newport Beach and pick them up. Arrggggggghhhhhhh.

I got my Christmas lights put up last week. That may be all the decorating I do. I'm not around much this next weekend, and the following weekend will be in Texas. Then it's Christmas. I just don't have the energy or heart to go out to the (cold) garage and start unearthing all my Christmas stuff, then have to pack it up and put it back. My Mom and I are just exchanging one $25 gift this year (I'm getting her a new Timex). I am buying for my friends' kids, but otherwise no gifts between the adults--we all decided that we have too much stuff. So it's going to be a quiet Christmas season--I am probably having people over Christmas Eve and we are going to dinner to my cousins' house on Christmas Day. I am also doing my "family-style" New Year's Eve. Nothing crazy.

Anyway--back to the salt mines now. Talk to you all later when we open our boxes!!!!

If your prescriptions is on hand your dr. can fax your prescription to wal-mart and you can pick them up there. They only carry certain prescriptions. I have really bad vision so they don't carry mine.

Cheryl, sorry about your contact lenses and eye glass woes. I haven't worn contacts since my wedding day June 27, 1993. I detest them. Not that I'm fond of wearing glasses, but I hate contacts even more.

If I lived as close to DL as you do, I probably wouldn't decorate ever. I'd just drive over there when I needed a Christmas fix. Grab a book, sit in the lobby of the Grand and make it my own. lol :goodvibes

Cheryl, that stinks about your contacts!! I'm sorry! I hate wearing my glasses, I get paranoid because I can't see to the side and up with them like I do my contacts.

Okay, I'm going to DBF's tonight, so I'll take the box and post there what I got. I'm taking my camera anyways so he can upload our DL pics to his computer, so it works out! I'll have my Momma open her box before I go so she can post what she got!

OMG....I blink and so much has happened on the thread.

Kelly - Thoughts and prayers to you.

Bummer about the contacts Cheryl. And double bummer about your glasses.

We are also doing a very scaled back Christmas. None of the adults are exchanging gifts, we are only getting a couple of things for the kids. It gets to be too much.

I so need this trip to get here!!

Very cute!! I can't wait to see you all in them. We are trying to throw something together it's hard having kids and a man in the decision process because otherwise I would have just made the decision and gotten them done. :rolleyes1 It'll be interesting what we come up with. I like your white shirt idea but we'll have to stick with t-shirts which I really don't like much but oh well. See you on Sat. :)

Deb and Beth, thanks for the Christmas cards. They came today.
And Deb, I remember you saying you were hopped up on drugs when you were doing yours, so that's probably why mine was blank inside!!! :rotfl::rotfl2:

Less than an hour until we can open our stockings!!!! :santa:
