Yes, I think that would be the easiest. No reason to add another step and it will be tax-deductible so it's better to have separate receipts.

On the n1h1, I am with Callie and whoever said they were told by medical people that the vaccine was rushed. I always get the seasonal flu vac and I got it this year. They say that it will give you some protection and esp for adults who have years of the flu vac.

BTW, the nurse who gave me the seasonal flu vac said she is not getting the n1h1 vaccine. And a medical healer I trust said not to get it. But that is just what I've heard and what I'm doing. Each person has to do what their gut tells them.

Thanks everyone for bringing up my spirits. You ladies are truly the best!

The good news.....Justin got the carpet and carpet pad out of our house. It is now in our garage, and let me tell ya, our garage now stinks to high heaven(BAD - like bad enough to make you gag), but as long as it is out of the house, I'm HAPPY. Also, we're getting a new hot water tank today, thank goodness. We, uh, asked them if they could bill us for it, and they said they could. That's so we have more time to get the money together to pay for it.....it'll get us an extra 30 days before payment is due. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

Cheryl, I wish I could come, but I will also be there in spirit for sure.

I've got to get the kids up for school. I'll check in again later.

Capri I am glad your hubby was able to get the carpet out and that you are going to be getting hot water again! Ours was down awhile back and I know how much you rely on it and don't realize it till you don't have it! Is there a way you can get some REALLY cheapie carpet just for now and then updgrade later or would that be too much of a pain in the butt? Just a thought. ((hugs)) just because!

I am off to the uro today and then the girls and I will probably have some lunch and just come back home. I think it will be to late to do anything else today. Then tomorrow I have to run back in to work for a few hours since I won't be there on Friday and then we are going to try and go see New Moon tomorrow night. I am really excited about the weekend. We are going to go up and stay at my parents place in Truckee and HOPEFULLY there will be some snow left and then we are going to go to Squaw and watch them light the Christmas tree and let the girls go ice skating so it should be very festive and fun. I am really looking forward to it.

I hope everyone is managing to have some good times on this holiday week and to Capri again my dear I am thinking of you and hoping things start to look up!!

Morning ladies!! It's chilly here today. Only 48 right now. But the sun is shining and I'm trying to keep a smile on my face. In fact I think I know what I'll do today........bake a pumpkin pie and work on Christmas cards. Thanks for the list Cristabel.

Oh, if I bake the pie today, will it still be good for Thursday?? Hmmm, I don't know......

Kelly - When it comes to the carpet, we're going to give ourselves some time, meaning since we have to get new carpet anyway, maybe now would be a good time to paint.....yeah, paint.....ya know, and it'll give us more time save up to pay for it. It'll be our winter project. In the mean time, it'll be area rugs on concrete. You never know, we could be starting some new urban trend with that look.

Beth - I always bake pies the day before Thanksgiving so they are really fresh, but if today is the only day you have the time do it, then it should be alright.

We were going to have Thanksgiving at our house, but our water heater and stinkfest put a little crimp in that plan. So we're now going over to my mother-in-law's for Thanksgiving. Eh, at least I don't have to be in panick mode anymore about having Thanksgiving here, but my MIL's place is really small, so we'll be squeezed and squished in, nice and cozy like. I love days of such close togetherness with my MIL.

I have not forgotten about doing the picture of Dawn. I'm just waiting to get some pictures of her so that I can do it! I thought I could take some off the photopass, but she doesn't have any on there. There is a good one that Stacerita took on shutterfly, and it would be wonderful if she would send it to me. It's of her in her sparkly ears at the Meet and Greet. Michelle did send me pictures of her at MA, but I want one of her in her ears. If I can't get any other pics of her, I'm going to wait for Stacielee to get the Oct photopass in because there's pictures of her on there.

Thanks so much Cristabel for doing the christmas list. I have already started on my cards! I like to get mine mailed the weekend after thanksgiving although since we will be out of town it might be that monday. But then it is done! I already have all my family ones done!

And capri I was going to suggest the area rug idea as well but wasn't sure if it would be too cold with the concrete since I know it gets pretty cold up there. But if you can get by with that I say good plan! And if you need to paint then I say go for it. Take advantage of the situation! I hope it all works out for you guys! Again I am so sorry you are having to deal with all this and esp NOW this week. I DID write an extra special card to your sweetie pie asking real nice about you coming although is this going to make it even worse now? I hope not! You guys just have a black cloud hanging over you! I need to come up there and blow that sucker away so you get some good luck!!!

Maybe all of our cards will help change your luck!!

Beth have fun baking. I USED to like to bake but now I just end up eating it so I haven't baked in forever since I have been on an eternal diet for the last 5 years. And lately I haven't been doing a very good job. I think I have gained back almost 10 lbs in the last few months so as SOON as Jan 1 hits it is ON! I am thinking about getting the Fit for the Wii and getting serious cuz I have to try to even get back to where I WAS last year much less try to lose any MORE. I wanted to lose at least another 10 from where I WAS before and now it is 20! UGH! Oh well it's my own fault for being lazy. Ah well. Such is life in the big city!

Anyway I better go eat me some breakfast cuz I have to leave here in a bit for my doc apt. Have a good day all!
