I am still in Vegas-Vacation mode. Vacation mode is bad enough, but add in the drinking, late nights, gambling and all the hunk gazing, it sure makes it hard to return to normal life.

I know what you mean about Vegas-vacation mode. I get that too when any visitors leave. Even though I live here, I only go and do that sort of thing (drinks, late nights, etc) when other people are in town. So it's sort of rare for me too. Then when everyone leaves and it's back to laundry, errands, cleaning, etc. it just doesn't seem right!!

I still think I will be giving this year's a pass due to my CE meeting in Ohio, but still hemming and hahing (sp?)

My Dd and I are talking about going to the AP sale on Saturday. Not sure I want to get up that early....it is so cold in my bedroom first thing in the morning...and I need to get a couple costumes done for the Christmas musical done before I go...got the fabric...that is about all.

Who all is going? I have forgotten !!

Good morning and Happy Hump day Dis Divas!

Amy girl you BETTER go. Who needs CEU's anyway! We NEED your humor on this trip! I mean esp at the meet and greet!

And Beth 5 trees WHOA! I can barely get one tree and the various other household decs out. We're not worthy We're not worthy (said in my best Wayne's World imitation!!! Man you are good woman! I am not dragging my stuff out till this weekend! I need help! I agree with Janelle! We want pics!

Well today I still have MORE stupid laundry. I just had my pile down and then I checked the girls and our hampers and they were both full again! I swear that stuff multiplies! It's like rabbits!!!

Anywho Shelby got an invite to a birthday for this weekend as well. And wouldn't you know it, it's an ice skating party LOL. They are both REALLY into that now after this past weekend. Katy is SO jealous! Poor Katy hardly ever gets invited to parties and Miss Shelby is little miss popular and gets invited to tons. Katy asked if she could go with me and just skate but I told her I didn't think that would be a good idea. I hate it when parents bring extra siblings/cousins or whatever to the parties I plan so I am not going to be one of "those". It throws everything off and even though I wouldn't let Katy eat any cake or whatever I know the parents would probably feel obligated and I am not going to be like that.

We have SO much coming up I am starting to get overwhelmed. THIS is why I didn't want to do indoor soccer. My uncle wants to come over and pick up his boat and it should just be a 10 minute thing but he is a rather "interesting" indiv and I know it is going to turn into a long ordeal because he thinks the trailer needs to be "worked" on first. It has been sitting in our yard for like 10 years. Then we have Katy's game at 3 plus I want to set up our Christmas stuff. Sunday I have to take Shelby to the party and we have church then next week is the min days and conferences and mom is going to be gone and Shane is going to start being gone again because he got his re-test date for his contractors license which happens to be christmas week which means he will have to miss ANOTHER day that week. His boss is NOT going to be happy. Plus we have 3 girl scout events the next 3 Fridays in a row plus christmas parties, 2 performances of christmas pageants at church and on and on. Plus Katy's birthday and Shelby's basketball starts at the same time as soccer. WHEW! It is going to be nutso! I am tired just thinking about it all! LOL

Plus next year Shane is taking over as head coach so their is going to be a lot of pressure to do the indoor again and they want him to move up to select soccer which is a LOT more competitive and a longer season.

OH well we shall see. I think it is going to be really hard for him with just starting a new business. Plus we were supposed to go on our big road trip but I think that is pretty much done for sure now that he is supposed to be the coach. I don't see HOW we can be gone for 2 weeks if he is supposed to be the coach! Who knows.

Anyway I hope everyone has a GREAT day and I hope that those left to get their stockings receive theirs and more people get their cards today!

YAY!!!

So far, I have myself, Heather, Becci, Capri, and Deb arriving between 10:30 and 11:30am on Thursday. The Super Shuttle is $8/per person each way, so $16 total for a round trip, up to 7 people. The Disneyland Express is $80 total for 5 people round trip, so it's the same price as the SS for 5 people.

Good Morning Divas!

I wanted to thank everyone for their prayers for my mom and gramma. My gramma went to be with the Lord this morning. My aunt and her pastor were with her in the hospital, and it was a peaceful passing with songs and prayers being said as she took her final breaths.

I wish I could talk my mom into coming on the Diva trip with us. She sure could use a fun time come February. . .

I'll try to get back on later, but I know I'll be dealing with my mom a lot today.

I just consider myself lucky to be making a quick trip to DLR as I totally didn't expect to get to go until the 19th. So, I guess maybe I should look for something for my wonderful, accomodating and sweet DH who is making possible for me to be in Anaheim AND who will stay in back in the hotel room with Ty (not that NOT getting up at 6:00 in the morning is a sacrifice for him) so that I can shop!!!

AmySue, the others are right, you simply must come for at least a day or two. I don't know if I ever told you but you provided so much comfort to me by just being a friend/vet who understood how profound the loss of my beloved Coco was. I could see it in your eyes, you really could empathize and understood all the doctor talk jargon when I talked about all treatments and ailments she had those last weeks of her life. Thank you so much for that. The trip would not be the same without you.

Bree is going to check ebay for me today and try and get a cheap charger. I have a basic Verizon phone. No fancy stuff. But I can take pictures and text. In fact, I just learned how to text recently and really put my new found skills to work this weekend in Vegas!
