Lisa, and anyone else... Are you watching the Next Food Network Star? Do you have any favorites? Also, do you like the format this year? With having teams? I don't. Last night I thought that the guy who should have been the one to be sent home, got saved because if his team. Not fair.

I am, but I'm behind on them by at least a week. I'm not sure yet whether I like the new format or not. It's OK. I do have to say that anything that give me more Bobby Flay is a good thing though.

Sarah - Happy Birthday!

Michelle - So glad your grandfather is back and no one was hurt! And yes, my trip to WDW is a solo trip.

Here's mu "fun" for today - I broke a molar. Ugh. Called the dentist and they can get me in tomorrow. Gave the gal at the dentist office the info for our new insurance. She calls me back and says that Aetna says I'm not covered. DH is, but not me. Called DH. He called HR who says that I should be on there. Unfortunately, corporate is in South Carolina, so we can't deal with them till tomorrow. We'll have to pay out of pocket and then get reimbursed for whatever the insurance will cover. Which won't be much since we have the full deductible to cover first. Ugh.

Me too Jess!!!! I'm hoping you're still in your super cute outfit with the twirly skirt! :) :cheer2:
That's right, I want pics of the twirly skirt!! :goodvibes

Ugh, what a hassle. I hate the dentist. It's just awful. I get panic attacks, and then get to pay an arm and a leg which only makes it that much worse. :sad2:

Molars are pretty sturdy, how did it break? I'm seeing the dentist on Sat. because my back molar has decided to move to the right and it's way out of line with the others. No idea how that happened.

Jessica, What twirly dress?

Kerri, your trip with your DDs sounds so nice. I did that last year with my DDs and it was very special. After we got back, they made me a digital book from Shutterfly with all of our pictures. It's a real keepsake for me. :cloud9:

Lisa, I'm not going to spoil anything thing for you, by telling you what happened on Next Food Network Star. I kind of like the 50s lady. Her name has escaped me. The other one I kind of like, is Eppy the Hawaiian. He's laid back, but I trhink it would be nice to have someone share their Hawaiian culture and food with us. It's kind of early in the game, but at least there doesn't seem to be a b***h in the contest this time. :headache:

Gotta run!

It broke at a filling. A filling that is God only knows how old. Over 20 years, maybe 30. LOL. Sounds like it's not uncommon. Ugh. My teeth have been moving around like CRAZY. I'm told it's part of "getting older".... Wheeeeee.....

I like her too. Emily? Ippy/Eppy is good. I also like Martita and (sorry if this sounds wrong, but it's a good description) the "butch" gal from New England. As much as I want to like my local boy, the chef from Napa, he just doesn't have the chops.

Kerri~ What a bummer she didn't pass, but at least she will get more time to study now :teacher:

All is forgiven.:rotfl: You didn't look like heck to me! For the record I was not checking out his belt. I was looking below the belt.:rotfl:
oh my, Trudi! We have a cougar on the prowl....

Meeting with some Divas would be awesome! We are going to be there from the 19th-23rd!!
I will be missing you by one day. We get in on the 24th :sad2: I hope you have a great time!
As far as my life, I've been the happiest I've been in a loooooonnnnnng time. I'm loving my new guy and he's completely opposite in every way than my ex and I think that is why I like him so much .
:woohoo: yay!
So happy for you! Is he a fan of Disneyland?
I asked her this too! :rotfl: On fb she said he is :)

Had a crazy week. As some of you know from my fb my grandpa went missing since Sat. He was found late last night driving the wrong way on the freeway :scared1: In Thousand Oaks. Thankfully he's ok, well sort of obviously he's lost his mind and now has no choice but to have my mom take care of him.
What a relief! I bet that is so hard for your family. I pray everything works out

There must be a big game on or something - the guys next door have been chanting and screaming for the past hour :confused3 Their voices echo throughout the street.

I started 50 Shades of Grey today....wowza! I finished the second book in the Outlander series this morning and man, that is a fantastic series! I was dreaming of red-headed Scottish men hitting on me in my dreams last night :rotfl:

So, who will be around the parks on the 24-29th? I will be there - and will be doing the AP early entry at DCA on the 26th and DL on the 27th. I want to hit up Mad T Party at some point too. Saturday is a blockout for us so I think we will be watching Brave at the theatre in DTD and checking out the swing band in front of ESPN zone. :goodvibes

Part of getting older huh? Gee, sags, wrinkles, spider veins, now moving teeth !
I love all of the planning so far. I'll be three months shy from being 18.
:thumbsup2

::yes::

Just quickly popping in to say Happy Birthday to Sarah!

Michele - glad your Grandpa was found!

Hope to catch up on the thread this weekend!

Sarah Happy Birthday belated. Hope you had fun. And I know you are not on FB but I got the same bag as you except I got the Kassey for MY b-day. Bought it for myself. Those are the best presents ;) I LOVE it and just got it yesterday. Can't wait to use it!!

Michelle that is so sad about your grandpa but so glad they found him unhurt.

Lisa oh girl I hate to tell you but you may need a crown. EXACT same thing happened to me. My tooth broke at a really old filling and I needed the crown. Just hopefully you don't need the root canal too! Good luck with the ins and all.

School is winding down. Shelby has a play today and Katy has her swim party. Not sure what they are doing tomorrow but prob not much since they have turned everything in. Tomorrow will be Katy's last day since she is skipping the half day on monday to go to shelby's promotion with me. So ALMOST done and then I will have two middle schoolers. EEK!

I am off to play golf tonight with mom and a friend so looking forward to that although I woke up with a stupid migraine so hope it doesn't ruin it.

Hope everyone has a GREAT day!!

DH had a small canerous growth removed from his ear yesterday ... doctor got it all on the 2nd try so all is good. Now just back to his regular skin checkups and his scheduled face and head treatment next October. Such a relief!
Happy to hear they got it all! :thumbsup2 Skin cancer is not fun stuff. My dad and sister have dealt with it quite a bit. I use sunscreen every day!:thumbsup2

Aw that is so sad to hear how much he misses your grandma. I'm glad he was found OK.

Someone gave Kaitlyn that book for graduation. I DON'T THINK SO!

I think I might have read some of the Outlander series? Who is the author?
Have you ever read any books by Julie Garwood, Judith McNaught, or Julia Quinn? By far my favorite romance writers! The ones set in old England and Scotland are the best. (At least for me.) Julie Garwood and Judith McNaught have contemporary novels, but I likes me some castles and keeps! princess: Julia Quinn has a whole series about one family. I believe about 7 or 8, one for each sibling. Make sure you start with the first sibling. Same with the other authors. Much of their books spin off from the first and so on.

I started 50 Shades of Grey last week. I am on the 3rd book now. And "wowza!" is an understatement! Lol.

Happy belated birthday to Sarah!! :wizard:

Oh I have heard about 50 shades of gray! Oh MY!!! SOunds like my kinda book..;):lmao:

So I met up with that lady from Craigslist last night.. I met her at Joanns to look at fabric and get an idea of what she wanted for colors and stuff... WELL. SHe walks up, we introduce ourselves.. SHe pulls out some colored papers and says to me.. So.. Im getting married in August.. UMMMMMMMM. WHAT????? Its her WEDDING DRESS. I almost barfed on her right then. You want me to make your WEDDING DRESS???? AND she wants me to make her 2 daughters bridesmaid dresses... Oh goodness. I have been doing really well on my diet.. Until after that meeting. No joke.. I ate 2 candy bars, a bagel and cream cheese, and like 3 beef jerky sticks. THen I was sick.. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

But Now that i am all calm, im good...its a simple dress.. and shes paying me well for it. But still.. a wedding dress?? :scared1:
