Ok, I was thinking that sounded fun, but leaving Monday to arrive by Thursday????I can tell we don't roll the same pace, if ya know what I mean. So says the girl who's first speeding ticket was near Orville California going 92 in a 55 at 3 in the morning. Dang state troopers! Had to get from Glendale Ca to Vancouver WA in time for my sister and bff to take a final, and they had spent the night before driving to pick me up for the Thanksgiving break, so it was up to me!! We did make it on time!

I'm not that slow! I was just contemplating arriving a day early on Tuesday since the parks should be so quiet. I just don't want to drive straight through, I don't think my butt could handle that.

What day are you planning to leave? It would be my daughter and I and we live by Monroe.

Angie and I are interest ;-) Not gonna lie, I would be more copilot than pilot, but it sounds like fun and I've never done it before :thumbsup2

Maybe I should load up my minivan with ladies from washington and we can drive down! How fun would that be?? We could listen to Disney tunes on the way down...

How many does your minivan comfortably hold? We could have one heck of a group driving down, it would be so much fun!!! If we have a lot of ladies wanting to drive we could have more then one car and have ourselves a little convoy/caravan.

I'm driving from Northern California, on the I-5 corridor, I could totally add myself on at the end, depending on when you plan to be here.

My parents are driving in July. They'll drive here on June 30th, spend the night with me and then continue south on the 1st. I may or may not go with them, depending on work and stuff.

Chatty, chatty, chatty popcorn::

Well I do not remember who nabbed Jessica, but I guess that means she is not available for rooming with Holly and I :rotfl: I sent her an email yesterday, but haven't heard back. Oh well! :goodvibes

Lisa~ If you want to do that split, you can join Holly and I :)

I just made the most delicious paleo lasagna. Instead of noodles I used zucchini sliced with a mandoline. Nomnomnom!

It fits seven.. I would say 6 adults comfortably though. *BUT* I have never sat in the back. You know... Cuz Im the mama! ;)

I hope the weather is nice since I just ordered this outfit for the Meet and Greet

And since Capri always likes to have a beer close by, I ordered this one for her.

:rotfl::lmao: I almost threw up my lasagna looking at that first photo!

Well, I do some good cake balls.:thumbsup2
My Bday will be 2/15 so just about 2 weeks prior.
Mascatta sp? Is such a yummy wine. Maybe I will have to bring some? The only fried oreo I have had is at Serendipity. I haven't had the fried twinkies before. By the time I come to the trip, I should have lost a lot of weight and plan to enjoy on vacation.

Always. My mama raised me that way. LOL

Best fry them twinkies then!

oh, YUM.....

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: Fried twinkies and wine!!!

Anyone on the meet and greet committee got one of those little Fry Daddy fryers?

Mmm, deep fried twinkies! They have those every year at the Calgary Stampede. Pretty much anything you can think of is either deep fried, on a stick or both. Last year we tried deep fried oreos and they were delicious. Deep fried jelly beans however, not so much!

skip the fried snickers bars. they get too melty. Yeah. Had to go there.

:thumbsup2 You guys will have to tell me what kind of wine you like best. :)

The kind that's made from grapes?

They sell deep fried Oreos and Twinkies down on Fremont St. here in Vegas. I'm not really a fan. But, there is a restaurant at the Mirage called BLT and they have the best fried pickles! Mmmm.
Most things taste better on a stick. Just something about it makes it more special. lol

I've never done Fremont St. No one I've ever gone to Vegas with would go with me. Beth, will you go with me on October 29th if I stay an extra night? LOL

If you want to stop for a snack in Sacramento, right after the airport, I'd be happy to meet you and then meet you again on Thursday night at the M&G. I live 5 minutes from I-5 and 15 minutes from the airport here.

I hope the weather is nice since I just ordered this outfit for the Meet and Greet

Well here goes nothing . I figure maybe it's time I introduce myself and chime in to possibly join all you wonderful ladies in the coming year!

I'm Rose , I am turning 34 in July and have been married just under 2 years to my husband - no kids just 2 furbabies that keep me occupied ! I love all things Disney and being an AP holder now and never having the chance to do a trip like this before I think it would be great fun and to connect with new people !

I live in the Bay Area of California and hope I can start reading more threads and keeping up with the goings on here. I currently work for a hotel so discounts are no problem on my side , lol. No telling what will happen with the next year but time will tell. Talk to everyone soon :) :thumbsup2

I think the Meet and Greet is more of a box wine event...... Do I hear jello wrestling thats what they due up in my neck of the woods and there is alot of rednecks here......

Hi Rose - an official

:welcome:

to the DisDiva's!! You will love this group! Where in the bay area? That is where I am also. I am in Union City

Glad to have you on board!

Angie - you are going to look SO hawt and fer sure Capri appreciates your thoughtfulness (and who doesn't want a cold beer on their hoohaa????) :thumbsup2 I am totally volunteering to be the official photographer - seriously and for reals ;) OK, that is if I remember my camera.......... oh yeah, and if I remember to actually use my camera if I remember it.

Tracey - you're making Kandace sound slower than she is!! The trip starts on Weds not Thurs, so it would only be leaving on Mon for a trip that starts on Weds ;-)

Holy Canolli! Missing for a few days, and i'm 11 pages behind.

I love the M&G theme ladies. Fun choice! :woohoo:

Katie, soooooooo excited to hear your news.:cool1: It's good that you already know this guy as a friend. I hope that he treats you with the utmost respect, and kindness. You deserve all that and more. Of course a bit of chemistry helps too! :rolleyes1

Jodi, say it isn't true! I know that you mentioned as we were leaving last year, that you might not be able to make it, cuz of work. I really and truly hope you can somehow make it work out. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I need to talk to Cheryl, but i'm still hoping we are staying at the Grand. Sorry ladies, but when I am exhausted after playing in the parks all day, that walk back to Hojos seems like forever. :faint: Seriously, I'm getting too old, and I deserve the convenience of being able to go back to the hotel fairly easy, any time of the day. :goodvibes

Welcome to our newest newbies! :welcome: We are a fun lovin bunch of ladies! :dance3:

Wish I had time to post more comments. As usual I have too many eggs in a basket going on. Story of my life I guess. :upsidedow

Have a wonderful day! :goodvibes

I like the convoy. Fits with the theme. Don't forget your CB radio and of course you'll all need a "handle". Some of you may have stripper names that could do double duty. (no names mentioned!)

10-4 Little Lady!

Sorry, I nabbed Lisa! It's official Beth. We'll be at HOJO. Lisa doesn't want to share a bed, but that doesn't mean I can't rent out my other half:rotfl:

Naw, can't have those new fangled boxes! We need those jugs with a little round thing at the top, so you can swing it up on your shoulder and glug it down. You gettin' the image??

Good morning, ladies!! Isn't it Friday yet???

I hope the weather is nice since I just ordered this outfit for the Meet and Greet

:sad2: Daggummit! That's what I was gonna wear. You know, as a fun surprise for everyone. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

I've never done Fremont St. No one I've ever gone to Vegas with would go with me. Beth, will you go with me on October 29th if I stay an extra night? LOL
Heck yeah. I'll take you to Chippendales, let you get your freak on, and then we'll go to Fremont and pig out on deep fried yumminess. :thumbsup2

Hi Rose!! :yay: Welcome to this wacky and wonderful group of ladies. Glad you decided to join us. There are a couple other ladies up in the Bay Area. I'm sure you'll fit right in!
What furbabies do you have, and what are their names? :)

I think the Meet and Greet is more of a box wine event...... Do I hear jello wrestling thats what they due up in my neck of the woods and there is alot of rednecks here......
I think Theresa already volunteered to do the jello wrestling. She mentioned something about Stacie and Vicki joining her. :rolleyes1 Stacie will probably win! She wins everything. LOL!!! (she won the game at the last meet and greet for those who don't know)

Wish I had time to post more comments. As usual I have too many eggs in a basket going on. Story of my life I guess. :upsidedow
Hi Mel! I'm going to kidnap you and force you to slow down a bit young lady!! ;)

The trip starts on Wednesday??? Meet and Greet is Thursday though right???

Yep, the trip officially starts on Wednesday this year folks! LOL Tracey, you are a bit behind. :p ;)

Wednesday, February 27 through Sunday, March 3. Mark those calendars! The Meet and Greet will still be on Thursday night.

I'll add you and Lisa to the list now. :thumbsup2

Welcome aboard Rose! There are a few ladies scattered around the Bay Area and NorCal. I just moved down to Anaheim from the Bay Area (I miss it, but not at the same time, lol). Where abouts are you?

Chatty, chatty, chatty popcorn::

Aw, sorry Jen! I did see the message but my connection was so bad on my phone I couldn't send a response. It's been a crazy couple of days working both jobs and other little things. Andrea and I had been planning to room together at the Grand since she decided to join us next year but that's so not going to be in the budget for next year, lol.

A couple things have been added to the front page schedule. Basically just our usual plans, but it's nice to see it not so bare! lol
For those who are new, the schedule is updated as plans are made, so you can always check the front page for the latest information.
Oh, and just an FYI, I noticed we now have 13 rooms booked at Hojo!! It's going to be fun!! Start thinking of ideas for those door signs. LOL ;)
