Yowza Ladies! You all have been super busy while I have been off on a field trip and working and doing this and that!

I love the new theme and shirt idea. Just wonderful... I am so grateful to be part of such a creative and talented group.

I have to say, I don't care where the picture is, or what the shirt is or really about hardly anything at all. I'm so glad that someone other than me will make the decision. I did have a secret "holy ****" moment the year of the dis diva across my big old butt, but I got right over it! And I still love that shirt

Dear Beth, I think you are being too sensitive. I don't think there was any accusation intended. We all know that you are not that person to dictate things. Jess, you are a direct person and I do understand you were just asking a question, which is just fine. I think we should all agree no harm no foul and let it ride. Maybe we could do something like a poll. Post the proposed colors for last day and then let everyone vote on them?? Just an idea...

I do have to say, I love red. It was I, in year 3 who suggested the red...and it sure was easy to pick out the Divas. So I guess you know what color I would vote for...


oh, and my cousin is heading to Pasadena with her daughter for a makeup show or something. Looking for a cool area to stay at where they might be able to walk to shopping and restaurants and stuff. Flying in the 21st and leaving the 25th. Any suggestions?

Yes, we really do. And don't think for a second anyone is getting out of wearing a tiara for the Princess photo. If you say you conveniently forgot it, people always bring extras.
You don't have to wear it all day. Just the 3 minutes it takes to snap the photo. And around Halloween sometimes you can even find them at the Target dollar spot, or the dollar stores. The one I wore last year was plastic. I left my nicer one from Claires at home.

Actually only a small number of Divas are coming in on Wednesday.

We're keeping the M&G party on Thursday since that is the day most of the ladies are coming in and will still be the main day to meet and greet everyone. Because of this, I think it's better to wear lime green on Thursday.

I like this idea. And I like the idea of wearing last year's shirt on Wednesday.

Only a small number? Well phooey! I guess I will be one of the few.

Really Capri, I am just making suggestions. I had to get on the band wagon you know.

I think you forgot the tie-dye

Perhaps the shirt for the last day doesn't have to be a single solid color.

I mean, maybe we could pick a pattern instead. Like for instance, stripes. There are a lot of super cute striped shirts out there. It wouldn't really matter if the stripes are horizontal or vertical, just as long as everyone was in stripes. And then everyone could wear whatever colored stripes they wanted, be it red and white stripes, white and black stripes, pink and black stripes, blue and greens stripes, ect.

Or we could all wear floral.

Or polka dots.

Anyway, just a thought that picking a fun pattern may be a little easier and make everyone happy because then everyone can choose the colors they enjoy wearing for that day.

Honestly, folks. Either wear the shirt or don't. No one is going to poison your food if you don't wear the right color. I didn't quite match everyone in one of the group photos my first year and I'm still here. Just be confident that we really like you no matter what you are wearing, cuz we do. I even love Capri, who hates tie-dye. (sorry, Capri.... I had to go there..... )

I like the tee color lineup.
Red is not my thing but I have no problem wearing it for one day. There are many shades of red. Brick Red, metalic - lol, bright, dull, shiny, oh the list goes on and on.

I'm thinking red with maybe a few sparlkes for a change?????

Maybe I am overreacting and taking it too personally. But that particular point is a sore spot with me since I work hard to make sure everyone feels welcomed and that their opinions are valued.

I don't think you're overreacting, you're just hurt. I do think you're too tired though (darn kids will do that to you!!!) I know you've gone out of your way to make everyone feel welcomed (way more than I do, that's for sure - you ROCK as the hostess with the mostest!!!!! For reals.). I know that I appreciate that about you. Like you said, with a group this large, not everyone is going to love everything, but being grownups, we should be able to deal with very minor things. And bottom line - if a color is that distasteful to you, just don't wear it. Personally, I look like a glow stick in lime green (Sorry AmySue, I know you love it!), but I'll be wearing mine proudly. Yes, I will embellish the beejeebers out of it - if I'm going to do it, I'm going to do it with style

The way it reads the discussion is on the order, not the color which is what I'm curious about. And I don't appreciate being singled out a la: (remember that some people really pushed for teal *cough - Jessica - cough* even though others really didn't care for it..... )

I was just going to leave this, but I thought I'd address it. Yes, I did mention you, Jessica, because I'm trying to gently point out that you've been on the flip side as well - pushing for a color you really wanted even when others didn't, but in the end there was compromise and you got your color.

Personally, red is not my color, neither is lime green. Will I wear them for the trip? Yes, it's one day out of the year. Will I wear the shirts again later? Probably no on that one. No biggie.

Really, I suggested that we wait to finalize this decision so more Divas can weigh in. In just two days we've hasd some really creative ideas. Maybe we'll have even more, if we take a little time to think about it. I know lots of Divas are on vacation. I'm even writing this from Whiewater Snacks at the GCH. I'd love to have a little time to mull this over. The trip is 8 (eight) months away, after all.

I wonder how packed Disneyland is going to be today with DCA closed? I am eager to see the crowds and attraction wait times when it officially opens tomorrow. I am always fascinated by those people who wait in line for 3-5 hours.

Me, too!! This group constantly amazes me with their talents. Between the shirts we've had throughout the years, the name tags, cute items passed out at the Meet and Greet, fun items sent in the exchanges, etc. Wow. I wish I had half the talent some of these gals do!

It is a shocker that I don't have a tiara, isn't it? I mean, who doesn't have a collection of those lying around the house.

Do you fellow Canadian gals have a place where you go for your shirts? We don't have any Targets open here yet. I guess I could try Zellers or Wal-mart, but just wondered if there were any certain places you guys have gone.

I may or may not have a few tiaras lying around the house - I cannot (will not???) confirm or deny this

You know, for my plain colored t-shirts, I often order them from WalMart.com and pick them up in Blaine. They usually have a bigger selection and are cheaper than I can find here. Truthfully though, even for the "color days", I usually find something I like on Etsy and get a cute something made up on that color tee (but again, apparently some people believe I have a slight sparkle/rhinestone addiction. I don't see it personally, but whatevs )

I think if we have a poll it should be simply be a blind poll, no one should post any comments just vote for the color. But that's not likely so......LOL I also think it's not a big deal, I'm not a pink fan or lime green either, but I'll wear them, heck I'll wear tie dye if that's what is decided. I'm not going for the fashion end of it but rather because I'd like to meet more of the people I consider friends on this board, people I've "known" for years but never met IRL. I do like bold colors, they look better on me, but whatever it is it is. I don't know if I can be there until Wednesday night but I'll still wear pink that day

Can it just be Friday now? I'm so over this week......lol It needs to be done. lol
