OK, here are the promised RULES for the scavenger hunt.

Beth, where is my whip!

Scavenger Hunt Rules

* Your team must stay together at ALL times. No splitting up, unless it is to use the restroom. When that happens, then the rest of the team members must wait at the entrance for the Diva using the loo. If someone is thirsty or needs a snack, the rest of the team has to wait in line also. If someone is feeling ill or needs to rest, then she must stay out of the race for that time period. She may NOT keep any material to work on, or use her cell phone. That said person, may enter the race again, when feeling better.
The question packet must stay together at all times!

* NO cell phones! Turn that baby off! Better yet, give them to us. LOL...just kidding. In reality, you may keep your phones on, in case you get an important phone call from a relative. But please, please do not use them for obtaining information on the questions.

* You may not ask Cast Members or anyone for answers, unless it is specified on your question sheet.

* No helping other teams! Don't make your teammates mad by helping another team

Here are a few items you might want to have on hand for the hunt.

Clip boards
Highlighters
Water
Snacks
Sunscreen if needed
Hats

We will provide pencils for you.

Hi ladies! Just popping in to say hello. Tomorrow is staff meeting day so it will be a looooooooooong day! Anywho - how do I get the funny smilies?

Holly and I met up today and went over the trip plans. She is pretty excited (and real, I swear!)

Oh! So it looks like my son's dad is in jail, AGAIN! This time it is more serious - he was found in a car with explosives and narcotics, had pills in his sock and hidden in his underwear (and then tried to sneak one into his mouth), and had a warrent out for his arrest for a failure to appear. It was all in the local paper. My DS has not been reacting to the absence of his father well. The aggression and anger sometimes is hard to deal with. Ugh! I almost wish he could forget his dad existed and just start thinking of my DH as his real dad.

Theresa I am sorry you are unhappy ((hugs)) I too am in that same boat and won't go into on here but I feel your pain and I too am def fat and NOT happy. I hope whatever it is that is making you that way gets better quick! I am always available to chat if you ever want an ear!

And Beth I agree stop saying you are fat. I know I do it too but I am sorry I just refuse to believe you are as big as you say you are and hell even so you are a GORGEOUS woman with a GREAT hubby and amazing kids so no worries! Yeah I agree I am disgusted with myself too but sometimes it is what it is. Just do whatever is best for you and don't worry about what anyone else thinks. And BELIEVE me I know that sometimes you just want it for yourself cuz I am RIGHT there with ya but sometimes no matter what the heck you do it just doesn't work. So all you can is your best and know that everyone loves you no matter what!!

Jen I am sorry about the trouble's you are having with your son's dad. I feel your pain. My ex is not that bad but he goes OUT of his way to make mine and the girls lives a living hell so I often feel the same way. I am desperately trying to move on with my life but he constantly makes things miserable and I only WISH that he wasn't around. But unfortunately both myself and the girls are stuck dealing with him almost every other day. Have you thought about counseling for your son? Is there anyway his dad would let your dh adopt him? It sounds like you have a great hubby so eventhough I am sure it is hard for him it is wonderful that he has such a great "dad" there and I hope that he can accept him as his dad and realize that his real dad is not so hot. ((Hugs)). I have SO been there with my stepdaughter. I did EVERYTHING to be a good mom to her and her bio mom was awful and yet kids will always have love for their bio parents no matter what. Good luck!!

Good morning, beautiful ladies!!!
One week from today it's Valentine's Day! Ah, amour. Any special plans for anyone here? We actually don't do much for Valentine's Day. I'll get cards for the kids, and we might order dinner out, maybe get a special dessert, but it's just not a big deal around here.

I am sad because this is the first year my kids won't be needing those packages of classroom Valentines. You know the ones. They are all either in middle or high school now so they don't do Valentine parties. For some reason, that made me really sad. I used to love taking them to the store, picking out the box of cards, buying some little candies to go with it and making little goodie bags for each of their classmates.
Then at the end of the day, they'd come home and dump their bags of cards and candies out on my bed and we'd have fun reading through each one while munching on candy. Such a simple ritual, but now it's gone. (sigh) Oh, well. They are growing up too fast.

If the newbies are thinking that NOW, we might REALLY scare the living crap outta them in SEVENTEEN DAYS..... LOL!

I am still recovery from a crazy weekend. We had a huge fundraiser for our school district Saturday and it raised twice as much as we were hoping - over $23,000!! This was our first time trying something on this scale and it was a sell out! Unfortunately, working so hard brought back my chest cold - ugh!! It better be gone by the trip!

That's amazing! Wow, great job! Sorry you got sick again though. Hope it goes away fast...or at least within two weeks!

Hey Beth no worries. I am sure when everyone sees me they are going to drop jaw too. I weigh a LOT more than the last two trips but what the hell. I am not going to let it stop me from having a good time We can be "baby's got back" together!!

This day and next week are a little sad for me I will admit. Today is my stepdaughter's 20th birthday and I am just sad about all the dissapointment and regret. Brings back memories of happier times and birthdays spent together and I am just sad for ALL of it. That she has made such bad choices and also about my marriage to her father. And that also brings to mind next week. It also happens to be my anniversary and I am SURE wishing we hadn't picked that day now! You don't think it at the time but then if things don't work out it is two things ruined. I know someday it won't be a big deal but this is the first one and it makes it tough. I still to this day remember my anniversary from my first dh (which was in sept by the way) and it makes me a little sad every time that day comes up just at the thought that it didn't work out and I hate to think about thinks that were beyond my control but now this is really fresh so it is painful! And I have to say BOTH of my exes, as big of jerks as they could be, were both REALLY good about valentines. Shane esp though and I have to say he always outdid himself and made it a really special day for me so I am sad. But so be it. I am just trying to remain distracted and focusing on the girls. I always buy them a little goody bag of stuff and I too enjoy the school parties and class cards. This is my last year as well.

Katy is in jr high so doesn't do them but they ARE having a valentines dance this Thurs and she was "asked" by a boy so she is all excited. Eventhough she only likes him as a friend hey it is still cool to get asked. And Shelby has her last year with the cards/class party so she is all excited as well.

Really just hoping to focus on THEIR fun and try to forget the rest.
