I'm just playing the Wii Sports that came with the system. I feel the Wii Fitness Test that is on Wii Sports is really just a reflection of how well you play the games. Not how "fit" you are.

Live dangerously! You need something to get your through the week.

I guess what has me scared is the plumping up thing when you stand on the board. Have you heard about this? I guess the Fit asked how tall you are, and when you stand on the board, it plumps up your image that you have picked for yourself. I don't know if this is a laughing or crying matter.

Still, from people who I have talked to, it sounds like fun. We will see............

Good morning, ladies!
I just wanted to pop in before I take off for the day. I go back to work on the 21st and the students will start on the 25th. I am really looking forward to going back. Summer flew by! It was fun, though!


I was thinking about how I am going to pay for this trip since money has been so tight with both of us in school. This morning I listed a bunch of stuff on eBay and I have more in the basement that I am going to list. So that will help.

Does anyone have any other ideas on how to save some money without taking any from our regular income?

Summer seemed to drag here because of the heat, BUT now that school starts on Monday suddenly it seems like it was too short. How weird is that?

Money is tight here too, but I don't care if we have to beg, borrow, or steal, AND eat PB&J sandwiches every day we are in DL, we are going!!!! I'm not letting you off the hook this time.

Beth did you all already try to book 3 tables of 6 or 2 tables of 9 for the same time? Sorry to butt in, I was just curious. That place is sooo good! I loved sitting on the patio looking out on to the Rivers of America. So pretty.

You're not butting in, I asked about doing that. She said that if we book it that way, there's no guarantee that we'll be seated at the exact same time, even if our PS times are the same, or that we'll be seated near each other.
So I'm hoping the person from the restaurant calls me soon. I just left another message, so they have another day or so before I start making a fuss.

Hey Beth, there is hope even for you on the Wii. I retook the fitness test. I'm about 54 yrs old now. Woohoo. 14 more years and I hit my own age. I cheated of course. I didn't use the nunchuck so it had to adjust the test appropriately. I just can't box yet.

I finally got my disney fix this weekend! Whoo hoo!
Zoe and I were up in El Segundo for a reunion of 4 of friends from high school. I had talked to DH beforehand, and we figured if we were going to be up there anyway, we'd do Disneyland that night. So we did.
We got there about 5:30pm. We went into DCA first to try to go to Soarin' but there were no fast passes, so we went to DL.
We got to go on a lot of rides, saw the parade, and FINALLY Zoe got to go on Peter Pan. She had never made it there in the past. She loves it.
Still having computer issues, so I'm trying to keep it short.

I had the pleasure of meeting my niece's one year old identical twin girls in July. They were so darling. I was surprised at how easy it was to tell them apart, not by looks, but by personality. One was really outgoing, and the other was shy. So they liked to try to trick me (the adults), by asking me which one was which. I would just smile really big and get close and say hello. One would always smile back and one would always cry. I have to say, I was incredibly impressed by the 20 year old Mom and how calm she was, especially given the 2 year old older brother.

Oh, to be young again...


Just call me the very old (42) Mom to a very active 5 year old boy. But hey, I did have a lot of fun when I was 20 for a lot of years before my oldest arrived when I was 30.

Congratulations to all you current and pending Moms. They are a blessing and a joy at any age.

Which is better then the last pregnancy, where they never could find a heartbeat. So we are on the right track!!! I must say... they are the loveliest little spuds I ever did see.

Hi Steph! What did you think of the final outcome on The Next Food Network Star?

For me, I actually LIKED Lisa at the end and was disappointed she didn't win--although I liked Aaron too.
