Evening ladies!

Had a busy weekend, and didn't feel too hot yesterday.

Hope all is well!
Hi Melody. I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you are better now.

Seems like something is going around. My kids have all been fighting colds all last week. I've been trying not to get it. I guess I'd rather have it hit now then when we are in DL next month.

Anyway, feel better!! :wizard:

Me too, me too! I want to go on a cruise NOW!!!! :yay: :yay:

I'm soooo not having an easy time adjusting back to reality. . . :rolleyes1 :sad2:
OK, now would be good too. :rotfl:

I don't blame you for having a hard time getting back to reality. You had a really nice, really long vacation! I'd be having a hard time too.

Hmmmm, maybe the Ladies Only trip in 2010 should be a cruise.....:rolleyes1 We could do a 3 day to Mexico and get some margaritas. Then do a day or two at Disney afterwards.

I'd be down for that. I would just need to be careful since most of my cruises I ended up having a bar tab that cost more than the cruise itself.

That sounds like my kind of cruise! :rotfl:

I've never actually been on a cruise, sounds like fun!

I've been on 1,2,3,4 cruises, and I'm going with my DH in November for our 20th anniversary, 7-day Mexican Riviera cruise! Can't wait, and I completely understand about the bar tab, even soda costs a lot! That's why you should take your own with you!! I've done it before, and will probably do it this time as well, since we're driving out to LA and not flying.

And pictures!! I don't think I've ever spent so much on pictures in my life!!!

I SO wish Disney would get their cruise out to the west coast permanently!

How would you know? I didn't think they let people your age into those things. :lmao:
Well, I've seen the little kiddies out playing while us grown ups were on our way to the casino and bar, and they always look like they are having fun. :confused3

Me too. That would be nice. Although I've heard the Disney cruises are much more expensive. Not sure if that's true or not.

I've only been on one, and I'm not even sure it counts since it was just a 4 day cruise to Ensenada and it was ages ago. LOL Probably about 15 years or so. The ships now are SO much better, nicer, bigger, etc. I'd be happy to go on anyone of them.

In 2010 I will be on a disney cruise with my dear family, but it will be off the florida coast and we will be doing 4 nights disneyworld as well...all are welcome!

Sarah

Is that code for shuffleboard and old reruns of McGaiver? :confused3
Uh, yes. It is. That's exactly right. We'll be watching reruns and playing shuffle board.

:rolleyes1

Whoo hoo!! Party in Sarah's cabin!!

WendyLouWho just reminded me that i'm going on my trip soon. I've been so busy that i haven't had time to plan what we will do.. and i think i'm going to keep it that way. We will fly in..drop the bags at the hotel and just explore the park at a relaxed pace.. maybe pick up a few christmas presents for the family...and try out a fast pass for the first time..i'm just looking forward to spending time with my DH.

I'm waiting on our annual passes to arrive.. i went ahead and did the Premium for both. So if they don't arrive.. what do i do? Do i take the confirmation # to where??? :confused3

I don't have the answer for your AP question. But I just wanted to say the plan not to plan, LOL, sounds really nice to me. You guys are going to have fun just being there.

Hello everyone!! I hope you are all having a good day so far. Talk to ya later.

Although I've heard the Disney cruises are much more expensive. Not sure if that's true or not.

They are much more expensive; here's an example. My dad paid for my 2 brothers and I, and our families to go on a cruise in November, 2003, we actually went the week of Thanksgiving, Eastern Caribbean I think, and it was about $12,000-14,000 for all 12 of us. I looked at the Disney cruises, and one that was about the same was at least $10,000 PER CABIN!!

It think the coolest one to do would be the transition cruise, or whatever they call it, when the relocate the ship from Florida to California, or the reverse.

Guess it's time to get the stripper shoes out...;)

Well, the hotel reservations are set at HoJo's and it looks like I'm joining the party! Can't wait to experience Disneyland with a bunch of gals who are just as nuts about the Mouse as I am! :cool1:

Good grief!! :sad2: I wonder why? Is it just because of the Disney name, or do you actually get more for your money? From what I can tell, the cruises all seem about the same. And it's not like the other cruise lines don't have nice ships, because they do.

DH and I are hoping to do an Alaskan cruise in 2011. That's another reason we aren't renewing the APs. We want to save for a cruise.

:rotfl: That would take some serious effort to make that kind of money.

That was amazing. Thanks for sharing! I would love to do one of those cruises. Maybe someday...

Thanks! everybody should go on a Disney cruise in their lifetime... (thats my new motto...LOL)

Jill, I just checked out the link to your pics. I LOVE them. OMG, it looks like you all had such a great time. I'm so jealous. LOL

The ports were so pretty, I love the buildings. The ship looks amazing. And an engagement too? How romantic!

I want to take a cruise now. Doesn't even have to be Disney. Any cruise will do. :rotfl:

Ooohhhh! A ladies only cruise.....I'm so IN! Disney or not

I'd be down for that. I would just need to be careful since most of my cruises I ended up having a bar tab that cost more than the cruise itself.

that is so easy to do too..........all those pretty umbrella'd drinks walking around while you are lounging at the pool! The only thing you have to know is your room number....LOL

Disney has free non alcoholic drink stations near the pool....so the only bar tab is truly from the bar.

oh its true....but you get what you pay for and nobody does it like Disney...IMHO

If you book early enough...the prices are much better. Our 15 night repositioning cruise wasn't even that much and thats like booking two 7 days cruises.......or at least thats what I kept telling myself....LOL

or just plain nuts in general! hehehe....just kidding!

I've only cruised 1 other cruise line, Holland America. It was nice and we had fun, it was with DH only, no kids. A Disney cruise is like no other (again just my opinion). It is all the little touches and great guest service that add up to one fabulous trip.....and being surrounded by Disney is nothing short of wonderful. Its kind of like comparing Disneyland to Knott's Berry Farm or Magic Mountain....LOL
Yep, you pay more then other cruise lines, but there is a reason they are in the top cruise lines in the world too. :thumbsup2

I'd still love to be on a Disney cruise. Maybe one day......when I win the lotto. :cloud9:
