There is nothing wrong with being a poncho person. Just remember that photo of from Splash Mountain during the April trip. "Dry is not an option" is definitely the motto for that ride. lol

Holiday time at DL......sigh! I just love it and it gives me chills still every time it snows on Main Street. And woohoo to KOST radio for playing their Christmas carols already! Our weather is getting cold, windy and a chance of rain this week.......WOW! I can't believe we are getting the much needed rain. I'm so excited, even with the kids being out of school all week! !!

I planned a last minute trip to WDW in the middle of Dec to meet up with Dagny, Shelley, Lauren and a bunch of girlfriends. I'm SO excited, but am trying really hard to get all my Christmas stuff done before I leave!

I vote a big yes for having a BBQ lunch at BTR since BB will be closed. Do you think we have enough people to constitute a "group"? What time is the VIP tour starting? If it is after noon, maybe this could be the one meal everyone tries to attend so we have a large crowd. Great idea Heather.

I think it's a great idea and sounds like a lot of fun. I recall Cherly mentioning it once before too as something to do at some point during the trip. My only concern is how can we find out exactly when it's going to be open?

OK, well, I'm all caught up here. I hope everyone is having a good day so far.

My mom is on a plane to cold, snowy MI as I type. It was a really wonderful visit although way too short. If all goes as planned she'll be back in April, so that will give me something to look forward to.

Aww, I'm sorry. I know how you feel. I was hoping to sneak in a day alone at Disney while we were in CA visiting family next month, but now it doesn't look like we will make it to CA after all, so no Disney for me.

Space just makes me ill because of the sounds and lights. Oh, and the constant turning motion. Ugh. I went on it in October because the kids were begging me, but never again. LOL

I don't like to get wet either. But there is wet and there is soaked. If I use a poncho on Splash, then I am fine, maybe a few drops but nothing major. But on Grizzly, forget it! Even a poncho won't help you sometimes because the water just goes everywhere! Yikes.

Beth, do you use your entertainment book coupons for the movies? We have Regal for $6.50, which is even less than matinee. I went to the movies last week and almost died when I saw the prices. I don't go often! Anyhow, I am dying to see Bolt too.

And I love all the rides. Every stinking one of them! Tea Cups can be a little challenging, but I take dramamine and then I love it! But, this trip is not about the rides for me, as I will figure out how to do tons of those with my kiddos in Feb. For this trip I am excited to do the tour, the ambience and the food, not to mention the great company. I have not been on vacation with my girlfriend Terri since our backpack across Europe simply ages ago.(20 years?)
