Sounds cool! But, I do want everyone here to be welcome/encouraged to make the trek to Vegas, too, so let's make it a point to make some posts here, to entice them over every once in awhile.

Oh absolutely I want everyone to feel welcomed! That's why I went ahead and put the link on the front page and in the title. I'll add it to my sig when I get a chance.

Yeah, I didn't mean we should keep the two totally separate, but trying to plan two trips on one thread could get confusing. Just ask Wendy, she can't handle two at a time. Just kidding!

Oh my goodness! I just had to share my cooking experience with someone. I decided to try Ohana's recipe for bread pudding. We had it there for dessert when we went to WDW, and it was some of the best I've ever had.

So I was making the caramel sauce for the topping and it called for rum and vanilla at the end which you burn off, while still boiling. Well let me tell you.........................the flames went soooooooooooooo high that they were reaching the hood!!!!

So I'm by myself, thinking what do I do? I hurried and got out some baking soda just in case, and stood back and carefully watched. Finally after it seemed like forever the flame died down. Then I could turn it down to a simmer.

The rim of my pan is black, but in the end all is well.

It is YUMMY!!!!!!

LOL true about Vegas and Phoenix in June!!

That is DIRT cheap for that timeshare!!! Wow. How many could you get?

I don't know anything about them, but that's the advantage to being local. I can go check them out! Any resort we are interested in, I can scope out and take pics, maybe ask to see a room, etc.

We have a total of 3 weeks to exchange, plus 2 more coming in January, so I'd have to ask my DH about it. Usually, I can call and find out about getting more than one room in the same week. But once I do it, we lose some/most/all of our money depending on when it's canceled. I'll put this information in the other thread so we can continue the discussion over there...

my oldest was probably 2 so I was like 20, mind you I have never made a turkey, ever. I cleaned the turkey taking out its unmentionables bag...and I seasoned it, put it in the bag, slipped in the pan and then the oven. well 3 hours later, the smoke alarm goes off, the kitchen is full of smoke...

Ok so my pan was too small...the slits i had put in the bag were on the bottom and all of the grease had been spilling out. There were flames every where!!!!!! I have never made a turkey since. Oh i have made a turkey breast, but never the whole darn bird!!

I would carpool too. And no, we don't want to do the Rio--that definitely would NOT be a good thing under the circumstances!

That's what I figured. Stay away from the pool at the Hard Rock if you don't want to do the TTI all day long. I swear they hire models to just swim there. Palms too.

Definately dont want to TTI all trip. Take me somewhere that the ladies wear granny panties under their clothes and not thongs.

I want to be at a pool where cover ups are more than just a fashion statement. Give me a butt curtain and I will be happy.

I dont want to be hanging around with models. I much prefer real people.

I know what you mean though. I hate, hate, hate this new Vegas trend of turning the pools into special clubs during the day. I know it's good business for them, but it attracts all the model wanna-bes.

Who needs a club by the pool in skimpy bikinis. Go to the club at night in your skimpy clothes. You don't see me at your club while you are doing your thing wearing my mumu do you? I thnk not.

I am so glad to hear it, because I am about as real as it gets, and am prone to buying my clothes two sizes to big to avoid TTI, which is so uncomfortable! And please! Could Disney please adjust their sizing to normal so that a 2X is not equal to a normal large!

The twins are having their Halloween party and costume parade today so I'll be heading over to the school later for that. And the older two got to wear their costumes to school as well.

Then tomorrow is Halloween! They have the day off for Nevada Day so it worked out nicely.

Anyway, hope you are all having a good day so far.
