Hey all, just subscribing to this new thread. I am home today so sick. I went to urgent care, as my throat felt like it was on fire and I was convinced I had strep, but apparently that's the bug that's going around.
I'm miserable. I'm not sure I felt this bad when I had pneumonia last time!

I am sorry you are so sick. I got the flu shot on Thursday and was sick all weekend with a bad reaction. I hope you feel better soon.

Is anyone interested in trying to coordinate transportation from the local airports?

For instance, I am probably flying into Long Beach. Taxi is about $40, but I would not mind hanging out and meeting up with other ladies to share the cost. I have not booked yet, but am looking at Thursday evening, and flying out Sunday evening.

I would be willing to compile and organize, if anyone else is interested in this?? Would I start a new thread, and you would post a link? What do you think?

I just hate to waste valuable Disney money on transportation!

Okay, regarding size of Tote. I would think that being multi tasking gals, it would be important that the strap be able to be placed onto the shoulder with just the one, carrying arm. Does that make sense? To test: hold straps in hand, bend arm, and insert elbow through straps, and hang straps on shoulder, put hand down. If you can't do this, then the straps are too short.

This is very important, escpecially at DL/DCA. Imagine having your corn dog, churro, tigger tail, drumstick etc. in one hand, and the need to get your tote bag onto your shoulder. I know I don't want to put any of those delicious morsels down, even for a second.

Just another thought.

Hi Tracey, that might be a good idea. I've honestly never flown into the area, we always drive. So I have no clue about transportation to Disney. But if you would like to try and set something up, please feel free to do so.

I'd suggest putting a thread together on the DIS Meets board so we don't bog down the DL board with it, and I will be happy to add a link to it on the front page here. That way people posts won't get missed in this thread, and if they want to try and share a town car or whatever you were thinking, that can be organized all in one thread.
