Oh Heather! That is so darn nice of you, and truly a dream maker for many I am sure. How cool that must be to be able to do that! Like being Santa for a day or something.

So true! Being able to share with some new friends has brought me so much joy the past few days. The excitment of making others happy has completely overshadowed my excitment for going to Club 33 myself!

Hello ladies. Just doing my weekly check-in with you all ;).

Callie~ I hope they give you lots of drugs at the dentist so it won't be so painful. And I'm glad you found a better price than $3,000 :scared1:. That would've cost more than my hospital stay for the baby :scared:.

Beth~ I hope you're enjoying your time with your mom.

Heather~ What a great gift for the ladies who participated. I know this is a once in a lifetime experience for most of them and it was nice of you to do that :flower3:. I was going to participate in your trivia for fun, but I knew I wouldn't be able to use the prize when you said it had to with the trip.

Stacie~ I'm glad you had a great time on your cruise & your pictures look great. Did you enjoy the ports in Mexico?? I've always wanted to do a cruise to Mexico, but I love the Caribbean so we always end up there even though Mexico is closer ;).

If I don't check in before Thanksgiving, I hope everyone has a great day!!

Oh, and so glad that Beth is going. Although many others are participating and doing something, it is certainly true that none of us would be connected without Beth, and all the work she has gone to. She is truly the hostess with the mostess and deserves to go to Club 33 for sure.

Hey, was glad to see you made it onto the VIP tour. It is going to be so fun. Are you thinking of what you might want to do??

Are you thinking of what you might want to do??

The better question is what DON'T I want to do!!!

I know I want to get VIP seating for anything that we can. (I've heard rumors that Fantasmic is going to be down...I hope it's not true!)

Really, I've never been to DLR before, and would enjoy doing anything. However, there is no way, no how, that you are going to get me on any of the mountains. I'm the biggest chicken you ever saw! I want to eat a corn dog. I want to ride IASW with you all. I want to ride Pirates even if it's closed. (I know this isn't going to happen, but I still want to do it! :thumbsup2 )

What's on your list for the VIP tour?

I'm back from the endodontist, and am still shaking my head because I did NOT have a root canal. :sad2:  He spent a long time testing my tooth and trying to figure out exactly what was going on. Turns out my tooth/root is still alive so while there is no infection or need for a root canal, I am in pain because of a really deep filling. He spent over an hour educating me on everything (which I so appreciated) and told me my options. I still came away with an appt. for the root canal a week from today, and in the meantime I'm going to discuss my situation with my other dentists and see what they think.

Geesh! I have FREAKY TEETH! :upsidedow

Oh and I just have to take one moment to say:

:dance3: :cheer2: :yay:  I'M GOING TO CLUB 33 BAAYBEEE! :dance3: :cheer2: :yay:

What an awesome 40th birthday present! Thanks again, Heather!

No Mountains! Hmm...Is that a challenge? Seriously, the theming on Splash Mountain is sooo darling...one little drop is worth it. And Space Mountain...nothing else like it. Did I tell you I took my 72 year old Grandma on it? She lived. And then there's the goat on Big Thunder...

Just kidding. We can do those rides any old time. I do think it would be fun to do TOT as a group though. Really want to ride the Lilly Belle. Would love to "pilot" the Mark Twain. All the preferred seating is a definate. They will also get us priority seating at restaurants, so maybe they will get us a couple of tables at Carnation Cafe to facilitate the group meal there Friday Evening.
I haven't thought a lot about it lately, but plan on putting my mind to it after Thanksgiving.

Oh Darn! I hate unresolved dental issues especially involving an endodontist. My last round was more painful than childbirth, and I gave that guy the stink eye and told him he would not be seeing me again. Hope you get resolution without the root canal!

Club 33- That is so cool! Yeah for you guys. Of course I am pea green with envy, but no point stewing on it too much because I have to fly out early on Sunday, which was my sacrifice for flying in early on Thursday. I might slip a bribe(or a margarita) to someone to ship me special souvenir though!

Congrats to all who won the trivia contest and are going to Clubb 33! What an absolutely wonderful thing to do Heather!!! :grouphug:

I'm in the midst of wrapping gifts:santa: and getting ready for the week.:flower3:

Hope everyone is having a good day!:goodvibes

Jeez Callie, you're reminding me of all the work I've had done on my teeth. :scared: My mouth is hurting to even think about it.

I hope your pain goes away soon! :wizard:

And yay for Club 33!

The Lilly Belle is the top of my list for the VIP tour along with all the preferred seatings. I also am excited to hear insider info and disneyland lore from our plaid... I'm not really into history as a whole, but what can I say: I'm a Disney geek!

As for the Mark Twain, the wheelhouse is pretty small, so I don't think that more than 2-4 of us would be allowed up there. However, since my DH, DS and I just got to pilot it back in September, I would be happy to stay down below and let some of the other ladies take their turn with the bell and the whistle!

You take one arm and I'll take the other;)

I gladly accept that challenge. :stir:

:rolleyes1

Sounds like a plan to me! There will be NO stopping us from getting Heather on all the big rides!

Heather may not realize it yet, but she's going... And, she going to have fun on the mountains too :lmao:

Yes she will!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey now, I'm not doing it...no way, no how. :scared1:

The last time some friends drug me onto a ride at the fair, I passed out. That was a lovely scene, they had to stop the ride, get me off, and then they insisted that the paramedics come check me out. What a way to cause a scene. I don't think our plaid wants to deal with me and my 'chickenness'. :scared:

So, you all will have to leave your dreams of torturing me at home.

Oh sure, I would be happy for a short rotation in the wheel house, and that trip around the River's of America is rather long. Should give all 10 of us a turn. I want to blow the whistle for sure! My uncle was a Ferry Pilot up here in the Northwest and that was the most fun, going in the wheel house and blowing the horn!

Maybe if you pass out, we could all help you recover in the dream suite or something? COME ON Heather-Take one for the team!

That's where you are wrong. I'll be bringing my dreams to Disneyland with me. Splash Mountain is a nice, easy one. We'll start you off on that one.

Now don't scare her off you guys! Although I don't understand her reluctedness (is that a word?), since she's riding out with Callie and I, I know I feel responsible and don't want to have to explain to her DH about passing out or anything else like that! She would probably never be able to come with us again!! :scared:
