Is that anywhere near a mall in Arlington? I don't know Washington at all. My sister and my niece and nephews are in Arlington and I wanted to send them a little something for the end of the school year. Thinking gift cards but wanted to figure out what mall stores are closest to them.

I haven't been on the Casey Jr Train in so long. Doesn't he chant as he's climbing the hill "I think I can, I think I can"? And isn't it a really short ride? It would make for a hysterical pic though of all the Divas lurching out of the cages and such!

It would make for a hysterical pic. My mother works for a dentist and every so often take them on trips and what not. One year she took them to DL for the day. They have a pic of my mother, the dental assistant, and the hygeniest in the wild animals cage making scary faces and holding their "claws" up. Its is pretty funny to see those professional ladies looking so silly. Oh, and they all had matching sweatshirts on too.

Hello! I hope you all had a good weekend.

On Saturday my bf and I picked up his b-day cake. It turned out a lot better than I had expected. They did an awesome job and I was thrilled when I walked into the bakery and saw it. My bf thought it looked cool.

Here are some pics of the cake:

Sunday evening was the party celebrating my bf's b-day and his cousin's daugther's birthday. I wasn't sure what to get her (she turned 16). I bought a tote bag, flip flops, lotion and a water bottle from Victoria's Secret Pink Collection. I also added some flavored chapstick. I was thinking of how to wrap the gift, so I found an large inexpensive plastic beach bucket from Walmart, bought a cellophane bag and wrapped it. Here's what it looked like:

The cake was a big hit. Everyone loved it and it tasted awesome! Honestly, it was the best cake I've ever tasted. I brought some to work and shared with co-workers who also loved it and they asked where I got it from.

Yesterday afternoon my bf and I did get to watch the new XMen movie. It was awesome and we both liked it. Oh and yes, Hugh Jackman was HOT on the big screen

Quick question--do any of you locals have a trip planned for the next week or so? My niece is having foot surgery tomorrow to remove an implant that she got about 18 months ago that didn't take the way it was supposed to (I'm still not really sure about the ins and outs of the whole thing) and I was thinking that she would love a get well/see ya real soon postcard since she will be making her first ever Disney trip in just under a month. If anyone can help me out I would be forever grateful!
