Cheryl - holy moly babe, I'm sorry, but that just sounds like a terrible trip.....I mean, geesh, from the time you checked in until the time you checked out. Reading how they handled the stolen key card really got to me. What?....they treat you guilty until proven innocent? That's so wrong how they handled that and then implied you were suspect. Good grief!

Also sounds like SSR needs to re-train some of their employees in customer service. YIKES! :sad2:

Okay off topic, but I thought this would be my sons last week of Freshman football & he was supposed to start wrestling next week.

Well I just picked him up from practice and they moved him to the Varsity football team. They are in the playoffs so it looks like football until at least the end of November, maybe even middle of December. Plus I'm a little worried about my son playing against Juniors & Seniors :scared1:. Of course my son is thrilled, but I'm a little scared.

Plus you have to pay to go to Varsity games so now I have to pay to watch my son play .

I guess I should be proud of him. The boy really loves football.

I'm going to buy some new pajamas! And wear my hair up in my HUGE pink curlers. Oh, and of course some totally funky slippers too. ;)

And Beth, you do look SMOKIN HOT in those curlers :smokin: Dang, girl!! I'm gonna get some new jammies too and some bunny slippers :thumbsup2 I will probably skip the curlers though because I have no idea how to even put them in  Now I just have to think of some totally fun candy to bring.................. Hmmmmm........ choices, choices :rotfl:

I'm doing okay. Stuff keeps happening, but nothing phases me anymore so it's all good .

Katie, you've got a great attitude. Seriously, I'm completely impressed! ... and can I just say how darn cute your baby is? We didn't really get a chance to talk in October, but your baby *almost* makes me want another one. Not completely - no one faint or anything - but almost ;) I'll probably just settle for holding other people's babies and handing them back when they poop or cry :goodvibes

Say what??

LOL I cannot wait to see all the pictures that come out of this Meet and Greet! :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: If I'm going in pjs, I might as well really go all out!! ;)

Ooooooh, candy!! I need to think of what to bring too. I love me some candy. Obviously. :rotfl2:

Cheryl, oh man, I just read your little TR there. Wow, I am so sorry it was so uhhhhh, what's the word.......unmagical. :sad2: And that last part you typed, well, that just adds insult to injury. Dang AF!!

I hope you are feeling better now. We did miss you here.

Thank you everyone for the get wells. You girls are the best ever. :flower3: I mean that.

Oh about your Tamiflu question, Beth. The doctor said that in our county, they advised the doctors to only prescribe Tamiflu to patients who are high risk (just like people who should be getting the prevention shot/spray). Since I'm not preggo, I don't have any chronic illnesses and I'm an overall healthy person, there is no need for me to take Tamiflu and the virus will leave on it's own. Yay for me being healthy!!

Cheryl, wow. I'm so sorry about your trip.:hug: Getting sick on vacation just sucks. And everything about your stolen room key. Just terrible. :sad2:

Katie, congrats on your son getting on varsity for the rest of the season! :thumbsup2

Yay for PJ party! I need to go find some cute pjs to wear now. :cutie: My Mom is going to make homemade marshmallows for the candy bar. :wizard:

Hmmmmmm, I sleep in ratty old t-shirts and shorts or boxers myself. With a couple of sloppy old socks, hair a teased up mess, mascara smeared, a cigarette hanging out of one side of my mouth, and a beer bottle in hand ought to complete the look perfectly for the slumber party. It'll be just like being at home. :goodvibes ;)

Yay for the slumber parrrrtttttaaaayyy!

Cheryl, sorry your trip was so bleh. I think you deserve a do over as soon as you are up to it. :thumbsup2

Everyone, please keep your fingers crossed for me. Tomorrow is our ADR day for the WDW trip that we are taking in May. Luckily we have a travel agent on the East coast, so i don't have to get up at 4 am to make the ADRs myself, but I am also having a hard time letting go and being confident that she will get us what we want. Seriously I think that there have been major military battles that came together with less planning than we have put into making our trip itinerary and choosing all of our dining options.

In other news my mom arrives in Las Vegas tomorrow morning for a week long visit. Her birthday is Thursday and I wish we could head over to DLR, but I have an all day meeting on Friday that prevents us from doing that. But, I think it will be fun for her to experience a week in Ty's world--gymnastics class, Gymboree, etc. And, best of all Dave and I are doing a much needed date night on Saturday. We are going to RUB BBQ and seeing Penn & Teller.

Hope that everyone starts to feel better soon!!!:wizard:

That's hot :thumbsup2 So you're coming for sure then if you're planning your party outfit, yes??? :rolleyes1

Jane - my fingers are crossed. Have an awesome date night at RUB - yummy!! We likes the Rio! LOL

That's very cool! I saw some JV kids at our game last week. We start playoffs this Friday, too. And yes, I hate paying to go to the games, but most of the time we go with the coach's wife and she has a free pass for 2 so at least one of us gets in free with her. So if any of you are high school football fans, PRAY for our team! They're ranked 4th in the nation on USAToday so it's a pretty big deal for them!!! That, and the fact that they've won the state championship the last 3 years, so this will hopefully be a 4-peat, and they're on a 37-game winning streak. Lots of great kids, awesome coaches, they definitely deserve it!!!

I see. Well, yay for you being healthy, now let's get you back to your healthy self once again!! :wizard:

Now that's hot. :smokin:

I dare you, no, double dog dare you or anyone of the Divas to show up like that. OMG, that would be hilarious!!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Jane, have fun on your date night and your week with mom. And fingers crossed for your ADRs! I'm sure it will be fine.

Beth!!! We totally have to borrow marcies curlers!!
LOL!! I actually have some! :rotfl2: When I saw her's, I asked her where she got them and went and bought some. I'll try anything for more volume in my hair.
But they are a hoot and they are only like $10 or so at Target. I think it will make for some awesome pictures. :rotfl2:

Okay so this is what I added to the front page. It's in the post with the Club 33 information.

Stacie, Jane, Katie, and/or Cristabel, is this ok? All info that we have so far included or did I miss something? Anything need changing? Let me know. Thanks!!

MEET AND GREET PARTY!!

This year the Meet and Greet party theme will be a slumber party!! Once again it will take place in the conference room at the HoJo. There will be food, drinks, games, fun and of course the wonderful candy buffet. It's a great way to get to know new friends and reconnect with old ones.

Have fun with it, be silly, wear your fuzzy slippers, curlers, whatever! If you are not comfortable wearing your pajamas, any pajama like attire will work, such as sweats and a t-shirt.

We will also be doing another white elephant type of game and the theme for that will be pillowcase exchange in keeping with the slumber party vibe.
Participation is entirely optional. There is no sign up list. Anyone who brings a pillowcase will receive a pillowcase.

The rules for the pillowcase exchange are as follows:
1. Buy a standard size pillow case. Color is up to you. Then bling it out!! Decorate it in any way you like, rhinestones, sequins, appliques, iron ons, paint, etc. The possibilities are endless. (Obviously this will end up being more decorative than functional.)
OR if you are creatively challenged you can shop for a cute or Diva-licious pillow case to exchange, maybe one that is already pretty or sparkly.

2. There is a spending limit. We don't want to get too carried away. ;) Approximately $20 for the pillow case and art supplies. The key is to be creative, shop the sales, shop the dollar store, etc. And have fun with it.

3. If you want to include a few extras or freebies as with the other exchanges we did, that's fine too, but keep in mind it is entirely optional.

4. Wrap up your creation and put it in a gift bag. Do NOT put your name on it.

5. Bring it with you to the party and at some point in the evening we will do a white elephant type of exchange where we draw numbers, and pick a gift bag, and then the next person can either steal it or pick a new one. Once all packages have been chosen we will open the bags and see what we got! (Rules will be explained in further detail at the party.)

What are some of examples of things that were inside the bags at the exchange last year?

Well, in the bag I put together it had a retro Disney theme. The tote itself was one I found at the Disney outlet here and it was orange with retro designs on the outside. I then found a mug, some stationary and a keychain in the same retro Disneyland print. Here's an example of the mug: http://www.themeparkshopper.com/servlet/the-998/Disneyland-Retro-Coffee-Mug/Detail

For the pillowcases you could tie in the items to the theme of your pillowcase. Let's say you make a pillowcase with a cute Tink iron on and some sparkly pixie dust with rhinestones or something, then you could add Tink items such as a Tink mug with some tea or cocoa, or Tink journal, etc.

It's up to you, but the possibilities are really plentiful. I like to have a theme to my exchange but you don't have to. You can add whatever you want. I hope that helps some. :)

When I think of sleepovers I think of my many birthday party sleepovers and how we used to watch Grease every time. There's also a sleepover scene in Grease, too! :lmao:

Looks good to me. :thumbsup2
