I hope you are all having a good day. Is everyone who went to DL still in sort of a fog? You know that feeling where you're home, and on the one hand you're happy to be, but on the other hand you wish you weren't and you're just not sure what to do with yourself??? LOL
We need a name for that. I go through it whenever I return home from a vacation, but especially a Disney one.

I know what you mean, Beth, about the post-Disney letdown. But mostly, it feels good to be home and productive. I love DL, but it's like eating pumpkin fudge... Sometimes it's good to be back to something plainer. (I also live close enough that I've been there a lot this year).

The Entertainment Rates have been updated to include the remaining days of our trip!!!! For everyone that has a reservation make sure you call back to get your it to reflect the rate for the duration of your stay.

Hi Sarah, how are you doing? Hadn't seen you on here in a while, I hope you're not working too many hour? I know you just had a vacation but with the amount of hours you work, you need another vacation.

Glad to hear for the most part mini-meet went well, sorry to hear about the few Divas that got ill.

I'm away for work this week. I'm due home this Friday, keeping my fingers crossed for this. Then I leave again on Sunday and I'll be gone for another week. I'm looking forward to being home for good, or at least a good bit of time.

I haven't read back yet. We got home at 3 AM. I was sick most of the day.
We ended up with a flat tire. Thank goodness for AAA!!
Half of my trip was great. I really enjoyed seeing everyone at Dawns party.
The other half of my trip was a little crappy. Laramies niece was a BRAT!!!!
She cried before every ride. Finally I just looked at Laramie anbd said I am outta here. Sorry there is no crying in Disneyland. Had I know that she had never been on rides before in her life, I would have said NO, she is not going with us. I don't deal with crying kids. ugh....Her excuse was I grew up on a farm and what...........ok her grandparents have a farm. Seriously...

I just grabbed my kid and said catchyall later. I am not going to put up with this or listen to her crying not just a little crying but like throwing a fit.
Maybe I am meanie...but hey this is my vacation!!
Ok enough of my ranting.

I need to finish my homework now.

Hi Dawnkins!! I was so sad that I didn't get to see you more this past weekend!!! I agree with you on wanting to stay home for awhile! But I do have some short travel trips for work before the end of the year and I want to go to visit my daughter in PHX in Nov...I really miss her. So I'll be home for a couple of weekends at least!

I really enjoyed meeting your mom and spending time with you both at the TOT party! I know where you get your sweet personality. I was sorry that your mom hurt her back though and I hope she is doing better. Hugs to you both!

Gahhhh. Hojo released new dates for the Entertainment Rate and NONE of those dates are during our trip in December. I don't think they'll come out because it's the couple days before the Candlelight Processional. Boo.

Yes, getting teary is one thing but throwing a fit crying is another!
She has never seen Haunted Mansion or NBC...but she is allowed to play with hooker dolls AKA Bratz??? I don't get it. One reason we will never have kids...his family is just way to odd...and I am just set in my own ways I guess. Seriously she does not like anything. I am amazed she like the Pomme Frites!

Oh and then he was talking about taking her to WDW next year with us...oh hell to the no!!!
I was like good luck with that but I will be staying home. Since he wants to take all 3 of his neices. Yep I will not be going on that trip.
I have just a few general rules, no crying (unless your are hurt, you throw a fit and you can just sit there and catch up with me later or go back to the room) & if you are tall enough for a ride you have to try it just once and if you don't like it you don't have to get on it again.

hmmm...maybe I am just a meanie??

OMG how old was this girl? That is just ridiculous! Does she throw fits over other things too? (However, I'm glad I'm not your kid . . . . . I get scared on things too--however, in the past year I've tried Tower of Terror and Space Mountain--so I'm done with those. Sometime I was to do Splash. I don't think I have the guts for Screamin' however . . . . )

I should be packing for WDW but can't seem to get motivated. I know I'll be packing tomorrow night at midnight. (we fly out early Fri. morning but are staying up in L.a. Thursday night). Brandy is gong to housesit/cat sit/Bella sit.

A friend of mine had a baby girl this morning. Named her Kameryn Jean. Everyone is fine and healthy but due to H1N1 no one is allowed in the hospital to see her. Can you imagine!!! She is allowed only 2 adult people to be with her and you can't change out people! Luckily she will get to go home soon, but having visitors was my favorite part about being in the hospital...it would be so boring and disappointing to not get that! Good thoughts for my friend and her first little one please!

She is almost 10. Its not like I was putting her on TOT or SMGG. Those are 2 that I don't make Kaeleb go on. When she saw Splash go down the Mt I thought she was going to lose it. But in general it was crying (not the awww...my first time on this or that kind of tears) on Dumbo, Teacups, Buzz, just rides that you wouldn't really find scary. It was just a pretty awful weekend. I was able to salvage most of it. But there were times when I looked at him and I was like are you serious??? Like when Kaeleb wanted Chinese for lunch at CA I thought she was going to faint in disgust.
I feel terrible that she hasn't been able to experience anything. But she has been to Silverwood. So its not like she has NEVER been on rides.

I have done Screamin 4 times...its not really my cuppa tea......

Hi girls. Yes, I know my time stamp shows I'm up late. again. I didn't get back to my apt until 11pm since I went home for my sister's 23rd birthday. It was nice. We went out to eat (her favorite, Peruvian food) and then came home for cake. I bought a chocolate cake with white buttercream frosting from Pavilions and it was GOOD. It wasn't even expensive

I just wrapped up some homework that's due and got a head start on some that's due later. I have to start writing some papers that will be due within the next few weeks but it's off to bed right now. I have to move my car at 7am so I don't get a ticket.

I got up at 6:45am and moved my car into the student parking lot and now I'm here in the business building waiting for Starbucks to open. I want some hot chocolate

It's cold and windy over here in Fullerton and I absolutely love it! I really hope it stays this way. That would mean we would actually have a "fall" in So Cal.
