I hurt my back/hip and its really making things difficult. I go to the docs at the end of the week.

See that's what you get for trying to lotion up too hard!

Seriously, hope you feel better soon!

I'm still trying to keep up with y'all. . . ugh. struggling, but trying.

Hugs to Kelly and Stacie -- Kelly, I can't imagine the pain you must be dealing with. I hope you are able to get comfortable and heal soon. Stacie, hope you are able to get some answers and relief as well.

I've been reading some other not so great news on FB, and I'm sending hugs to Laurie and Beth too!

Heather and all the other recent DLR visiting Divas. What a great weekend y'all had together! I would love to try Napa Rose someday, as well as experience the DEP from WCT.

I miss y'all, but am super busy with a visit from my mom plus homeschooling has already started. We're on our second week and I'm dealing with some pretty crabby kids. Some days I wish I could ship them off to public school just to show them how good they've got it here at home!

I digress . . . hope everyone's week shapes up to be a great one!

Callie

Well, they aren't GREAT discounts :headache: hahahahahaha! Sometimes I am better off using my AP to get a rate, honestly! I got my license through a travel agency- and honestly, mainly did it to help get myself, friends and family better deals on vacation! haha! I am not means any kind of agent of the year with my sales, since making tie dye takes up almost all of my time (and pays better!)! But it is nice to have access to the booking system- since I am everyones "go to" person for WDW vacations! But, I seriously know nothing about DLR!

For example- how do you get to your hotel from the airport, and what airport do you guys fly into? At WDW they come pick us up!

I am going to talk to DBF tonight and see how he feels about me going solo- I have a friend who is a CM at WDW who says she will come along as well! :thumbsup2
Welcome Tinker!!

There is a big shuttle bus that comes to most of the major airports. It has Disneyland emblazioned on the side, so you cant miss it. I think they pick up every 30 minutes or so. I believe they charge round 30.00 or so round trip. Then there are tons of privately owned ones that you can make arrangements with too.

Anyways, we are always so glad to have newcomers join in the fun. If you have anymore questions, ask away! :goodvibes

Haven't read back yet, so I hope everyone is doing well. Things have been a bit hectic around here. I hurt my back/hip and its really making things difficult. I go to the docs at the end of the week.
Ooh Stacie...back pain is bad stuff. :sad2:

I hope it gets better soon. :flower3:

I haven't been on Facebook. :rolleyes1
Are Beth and Laurie OK?

I have my HOJO room booked as well, but I decided on Building 2. For my December trip we are flying in and out of LGB. I have never used that airport or JetBlue before so that will be a new experience. We almost always fly into SNA on Alaska.

Sorry to hear about so many of you having physical problems.

Sorry, just went a little Happy Bunny crazy.

I love reading all of your long posts, but you clearly don't have to reach over a cat to get to your keyboard every time you sit down at the computer like I do. Oh well, I guess I am glad that she likes to be with me.

Have a great week everyone!

Just wanted to say here I am feeling mopey cuz I'm sick (mostly been sleeping on and off all day) and I read what poor Kelly is going through - I really, truly felt your pain, Kelly, and I'm so sorry you had to go through that. :flower2::flower2::flower2:

Stacierita, I'm really sorry that your back is still giving you grief. I know when that happens to me sometimes I get lucky and it's over with in a few days. Feel better.

Heather, what a nice post. :goodvibes I just had the best time with you. Thanks for staying awake and talking on the late night drive back - it really helped. So many great memories. We had a lot of pixie dust on our trip! :wizard:

Hi everyone. Hugs to you all!

I've been busy with school lately, so I haven't been on here much the past few days, but I think I'm going to get another 4.0 in my class. One more week of this class left (it's called Models, Theories, and Instructional Strategies) and then I have two weeks off before starting my Masters Research class. Research class........sounds intimidating huh? I wonder what it will entail? Maybe it's kind of like a thesis class where we write a thesis paper. I guess I'll find out.

Anyway, my family and I leave for Disneyland on August 31st, so only a handful of days left before we leave. I wish I could stay for my birthday, but it's on labor day this year, and our kids start school the very next day, so it just wasn't going to work out. Oh well. My hubby thought I should wear a birthday button at Disneyland anyway, but I would feel weird doing that when it's not my actual birthday, like I was doing something wrong.

Kelly, I just feel awful about all the pain you're going through. I hope it's subsiding little by little everyday as you heal from your surgery. You poor babe!

And Laurie, Stacerita, Amysue, Beth, Donna, and Debra, I'm sending my thoughts and prayers your way for better days ahead. :grouphug:

HoLa Capri:hug:
You are going to Disneyland!!! ReaLLy ReLLy SoooooooooooOOOooooN!:yay:

What are you looking forward to the most? I say wear Your birthday button...You're a Diva DharLiNg... you celebrate your birthday for daaaaaaaaaaaays and dayS... have a month long celebration!:upsidedow

Huh, I hurt my back on friday...seems like we are all gimping around!

Sarah

HOpe you feel better soon!

Hello ladies!

Hugs to all who need it. Kelly, Stacie, Sarah, Donna and anyone else sick or in pain. I hope you are all better soon. :wizard:

I saw Callie posted about something being wrong with me that I mentioned on Facebook. I'm fine. She's probably referring to our van being broken. Just found out yesterday it's going to cost $800 to repair. :sad2:

If I was holding out any last little bit of hope of being able to make it for the October meet, well, this unexpected $800 bill pretty much squished all chances of that. :sad1: Oh well. Such is life I suppose.

Oh, and Christine to answer your questions about Facebook, most if not all of the Divas have a Facebook page. It's pretty easy and free, and a fun way to keep up with some of the ladies here. You should get one!

OKie doke. I hope you all have a great day today. TTYL!

Definitely get the birthday button! If only for the tortillas!!

You're so funny! You always make me smile and laugh. :rotfl:

Hmmmmm, what am I looking forward to the most? I don't know......I've been so busy and working so hard at school, that I haven't really had time to think about it. So I guess I'm most looking forward to just a little time to relax and have fun with my family.:goodvibes

Okay, that's not really an answer I suppose. ;)

Lets see, I'm really looking forward to seeing Fantasmic (hopefully with the new dragon!), and staying in one of the new HOJO kid suites (taking lots of pictures of it), and taking my family on the revamped Small World (NOT their favorite ride, but I think looking for the Disney characters in it will make it more enjoyable for them). Also, I'm really looking forward to riding TSMM. The line was so long at WDW (last December) that we only got to ride it once, and the line was so long during the last ladies trip (when we tried to ride it anyway) that I didn't get to ride it at all. Anyway, my family and I have only been on it once, and we LOVED it, so we're really looking forward to TSMM.

Okay, also, our youngest, Luke (we call him Lukey cause he's so cute - LOL) is finally tall enough to ride Indiana Jones.....and he LOVES Indiana Jones (the movies and the video games), so we can't wait to take him on it and see his facial expressions when he's riding it for the first time. Actually, he can't wait to go on it, so it's a win win for all of us - LOL.

And we're REALLY looking forward to changing things up a bit and going to Universal for a day. I haven't been to Universal in 30 years! Same with my hubby. And our kids have never been before. But our kids are finally at the age where we think they would have a blast at Universal. Can't wait! :yay:

Ummmm, but I didn't make any dining plans so no priority seating reservations anywhere. I hope that's not a mistake. (worried) :rolleyes1
