I called about 30 mins ago and was able to get the ET rate for all 5 ngts! Must have opened up.

Wanted to mention it in case someone wants to call to try for ET rate the other night.

Huh. I just called HoJo and spoke with someone named Kimberly. I wanted to have them add the ET rate to my last night since when I called to make the reservation originally, it wasn't available for that night.
She told me it still wasn't available.

Anyone else call and able to get the ET rate for that last night?
We are talking about March 1st right? That last evening? Monday?

Hello ladies!

If I was holding out any last little bit of hope of being able to make it for the October meet, well, this unexpected $800 bill pretty much squished all chances of that. Oh well. Such is life I suppose.

Oh, shoot, Beth, that's crummy. I know that Theresa was going to make that call too, so she'll report. We also thought it was Mar 1.

In DCA on your bday, there is a tortilla factory that gives free tortillas. It used to be a package but now it's just a few. But it's great to wear the button because all magical requests are usually granted - like when you want to ride alone, or in the front, etc.

There are not any dates posted in March for the ET rate yet. I think when I made my reservation, they told me they would change it if/when the rate changed for March 1.

Capri... i melted when you were talking about your little boy and indiana jones. my youngest granddaughter always has me measure her after she eats.. even if it's a snack... she is like... did i grow, grandma? Poor baby..she's a head shorter than her twin brother.

i love that moment at Disneyland when you get a chance to just sit still in the park.. and you look around..take a deep breath..and go... aahhhh i'm at Disneyland! it always makes my eyes water when i have that moment.

Beth... i'm sorry about your van. i know how it is.. we just paid college tution for 2 kids..

My mom and i are going to stay at Holiday Inn in Feb/Mar. We decided it would be best as we are going to stay longer.. and then bob and my dad will come and join us the next weekend.

Scavenger Hunt followed by group ride on the train
Late Lunch: Cafe Orleans (and Club 33 for a lucky few thanks to Heather!!)
Dinner: Napa Rose OR a counter service in the park OR a DTD restaurant

Sounds great to me! Most of the meals are ones I have never done before or are ones I like so much I am thrilled to get to be doing again! Yee Haw!

I know that Melody was saying that for the scavenger hunt she thought it would be great that once the themes are formed.. when they come up with their names..they also are able to make a themed hat..or dress up if they want. That is going to make great pictures. Everyone is so creative..I can't wait to see the names and themes.

Afternoon all! Thanks again to all my dear friends who have wished me well. I wish I could say I was feeling better but such is not the case. I have times where I think I am starting to feel better but then I go downhill again. The nights are the worst for some reason although last night was the first night since the surgery that I got at least SOME sleep. Shane has been a trooper and has given me the bed as I DEF need it to spread out with all my pillows and such. I can't get comfortable etc.

Right now my biggest difficulty is just using the restroom. (sorry tmi). Right now it feels like I am passing acid everytime I go and I called my surgeon and he said unfortunately that is normal and said I could try to get some numbing stuff but until it heals there is not much I can do. And I am able to pee but it still hurts really bad too and I JUST got a call back from the ER and they said they found Ecoli of all things in my urine culture and so now they prescribed Levequin for 5 days. Apparently that was the pill they gave me at the ER but now I need it for longer and the pyridium they gave me (stuff that turns your pee orange) isn't even working! So Shane is going to pick those up tonight on his way home and hopefully I will get SOME relief soon.

Anyway Beth I am sorry about your car. I know how much that sucks to have car troubles!! ((hugs))

Capri have a GREAT time at Disney. I just hope I am well enough to go in Oct. At THIS point it doesn't even seem possible but I am hoping for the best!

Anyway I am off back to bed.

Kelly.. you may want to be careful with the Levaquin.. I used to take it when I was really ill.. and i have tendon problems now. You can do a websearch and see many many lawsuits on it.

Oh great! Thanks for telling me dawn. Luckily my pharmacy always gives me the generic stuff so maybe that will be better who knows! I just know they said I needed something really strong because of the fact that it was Ecoli in there. I know I have taken just about EVERY flippin antibiotic known to man with all my bladder troubles in the past and it seems like I am immune to them!

It's a strong drug.. I used to take it for my lungs. I never ever had any kind of leg pain.. my leg/ankle tendons hurt so much i have to put the heating pad on them in the mornings and at night.

I'm not involved in any of the lawsuits.. yet I know that they are valid because I now have problems from having taken the drug.

How long did you take it? I am only supposed to take it for 5 days. You know it is funny I have a lot of problems with my knees I wonder if that is from all the antibiotics I took for years? I have like no cartiledge left. It sounds like rice krispies when I bend my knees.

Sorry for your pains! And again thanks for the warning! I have a call in to my stupid uro but his office isn't answering the phone! I wanted to see what he thought of all this!

Over a period of 2 years I did several rounds of it. I took the really strong dose.. giant horse pills. Sometimes Your body just needs something strong.. but wow.. who would have thought there would be this effect.

I have been in such a funk lately, I just don't know what to do with myself anymore. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with myself so I'll just have to deal with it.

On Saturday I was looking at the front page of this thread looking at the activities listed and I got a wave of nostalgia from this years trip and it made me so happy to remember what a great time I had.

Kelly, I'm so sorry to hear about all the pain your in. I hope you get relief soon.

Beth, that totally sucks about the cost of the van. My car is starting to get up there in years and it's starting to freak me out, because I REALLY can't afford to have something happen to it.

Heather, it sounds like you had a super great birthday! How lucky that you were surrounded by fellow Diva's. Sounds like everyone had a great time. I can't believe they did away with one of the fancy toilets at Club 33.

Dawnikins, it's good to see you on the boards again!

Laurie, I don't know if you're reading here, I know you have a lot going on. I just wanted to let you know that you and your family are in my thoughts and I'm hoping for the best for you all. You are a very strong woman and I know you and your family will find a way to make things work.
