Ok, so I plan to try the funnel cake this trip to DL and don't know if I should try it with the strawberry, brownie, or powdered sugar topping....suggestions?

My mom just called me from the Urgent Care. She was having chest pains and now they are sending her by ambulance to the ER.
I am waiting for DBF to come pick me up from work and take me up there. I don't even know what's wrong but I'm scared.
Please send some good wishes and happy thoughts her way. I'd really appreciate it.
She said they did an EKG and had given her some nitrogylcerin tablets.

After three calls to Tech Support and a total of 3 hours on the phone, it is determined that I need to send my computer in for repair. I have 2 months left on the warranty so the cost is covered including shipping, but I will be without my computer for 3 weeks and hopefully they won't have to touch the hard drive because of course it has been months since I backed it up. They shouldn't have to because it looks like just the motherboard needs to be replaced. I could have paid $160 to extend my warranty for another year and have it include in-home service which would get it fixed in about a week, but I just didn't want to spend the money if I don't have to.

Then my older son called this morning saying that it looks like his computer has a virus and wouldn't let him access the internet at all except a site that wants him to purchase an anti-virus program. Then he remembered he could use his phone to access the internet and found some instructions to remove the virus so he has been working on that.

Been there, done that, with DD's computer. I can't remember if you said yours was a Dell or not. Ours is and they had us send it in without the hard drive. I was glad since I hadn't backed hers up in quite awhile either.

I have 1 friend who lets her teenage daughter go on her laptop and everytime she gets some type of virus. She's had that one a couple of times. So far, I've been able to get them working again without having to reinstall Windows, although I have one sitting here right now that I think that's what I'm going to have to do, NOT fun!

So I've decided to reward my 20 pound weight loss with a trip to Disneyland with you wonderful Divas! This would not at all be possible without the support from all my DIS Diva weight loss friends, constant nagging from Okra and the generosity of Auntie Mel and Cheryl for being kind enough to open up their room to me. I'm so blessed to be surrounded by such loving friends that are like family to me. I can't wait to see you all next week!

Thanks everyone. We are still in the ER. They want to run a bunch of tests, do a chest x-Ray and I don't know what else. They already did another EKG. She seems to be feeling a little better from the nitroglycerin so hopefully it's nothing too serious. But better to be safe than sorry.
Actually I know she's feeling a little better because she wanted me to take a picture of her in the hospital bed so she can put it on Facebook. Lol.

Everyone - I am starting my packing list and I think it looks pretty good so far. I am trying to keep it to the minimum while still having everything I need! I only want to bring a carry on!

I'm getting out my suitcase today!! I got my hair cut and colored last week. I'm getting tired of the natural highlights I've started to grow, there's too many to use tweezers on!!

"Natural highlights" = gray I got my hair colored this weekend too - love it! Getting it cut some time this week and a mani/pedi next Monday (not too early). Gotta look good for Mickey, right??!

I personally like the powdered sugar one. The brownie is too rich for me and the strawberry is just okay.

Jill--so sorry about your Army son's wife's Mom--do they think it was malpractice (the puncture)? I know it's a little early to be thinking in those terms, but well, I'm a lawyer. We're cold-hearted, y'know?

Everyone: I am going to a viewing tonight and a funeral tomorrow--a lady I used to work with (and who is still a client)--her Dad died last week after a long bout with colon cancer. I'm stopping by to see Mom first, btw, yesterday Bella went with me to see Mom--it is a "pet-friendly" place and she walked in like she owned the place! It was very funny.

Brandy and her boyfriend and her daughter just left to look at her house construction so she could "kick butt." The drywallers have covered up a couple of outlets. She has slept most of the day--just wiped out. I told her she could not drive over there herself and she needed to reserve her energy for surgery tomorrow.

I am not any good at it! The last trip, I was working on a TR and did okay until I stopped and never finished it. The worst part is, I left off just before the Club 33 meal. So if any DISers were reading and waiting for pics or a review they were probably not to happy with me.
