We went down to Planet Hollywood for the grand opening of Sugar Factory.
Saw Holly formerly of Girls Next Door, along with Kendra and her DH Hank, Mel B, and "The Situation" from Jersey Shore.

They are fun blingy "couture" lollipops.

Then we had lunch at Earl of Sandwich. I'm tired now and ready to kick back with some tv.

Olive Garden was good but I ate too much and shouldn't have had so much wine in the middle of the afternoon. Then we went to our neighborhood theater and saw Princess and the Frog. That was fun and now we are home watching African Queen. Then we will probably watch the All Star game which is recording on the DVR. No work for me tomorrow, yay! I do need to clean up the house though but I am going to try to sleep in.

Wow, what a good friend you are to do that. I need 2 birthday cakes (one for Ryan and one for Luke) in June if you're available.

Are you going to post a picture of your masterpiece soccer cake?

I will try to post once I upload the pics to the computer! Oh and I used the cake doctor book and doctored up the cake mix and it tasted GREAT! I only had a couple bites...luckily there were enough people at the party so there was no cake to take home!

Carol - love African Queen...it has been forever since I saw it! Enjoy!

We are watching the opening ceremonies of the Olympics...gotta love Tivo. I figure I should probably see some of them since I live within 30 miles of them! CAn't believe I couldn't get tickets! Oh well, I suppose I have a better view on my couch. Traffic at the border was almost non existant on Friday...I think everyone was scared the it would be awful and stayed home!

I just finished making my hoodie! I did the transfers the other night and tonight I added a little bling to make it truly a one of a kind creation. Now, I just have to figure out how to make the pillowcase presentable

So I was just looking at the schedule and realized that we have a group ride on Soarin' scheduled for Monday afternoon. My assumption is that everyone who wants to participate will need a FastPass, as the standby line is always really long. Should we put that on the schedule as a reminder to people to pick up a FP that morning if they want to participate in the group ride, or are we really going to brave the standby line?

Good Morning! Kids are home for the holiday, but hubby is at work. We are expecting several more inches of snow this afternoon! So, we will see about school tomorrow. Meghan has cheerleading tonight and we have a parents meeting afterwards because so many keep missing practices. She only has two more competitions left. One will be while I am prancing around with the Divas.....okay, I don't prance, but it sounded fun!

I had a great Valentine's. I absolutely love my hubby and he actually surprised me with an Ipod, balloons, chocolate rose, and cards! We took the kids to Build a Bear Friday night and out to dinner afterwards. Then last night Chris went and got chinese takeout and brought it home four us...so good!

I guess that I need to start packing...or at least making a list! I am getting really excited!

Well, I have a long list of stuff to get done today. I guess that I should go start on it.

Good morning and happy Monday/Presiden'ts day!!

Sounds like everyone had a pretty good day yesterday!

Beth it sounds like your day was fun and LOVE that new shop! What a fun place! I want to go to Vegas on a grownup trip but it looks like there is plenty of fun places for the kids too. I think they would love it! Hope you enjoyed your "pop". Looks yummy!

Daisy sounds like a good day. That was nice of your hubby to get you all that cool stuff. Enjoy your day today!

We dropped off the girls and it was still a bit early so we drove out to Mac Grill because I purposely just had a pb&j sandwhich so I would be hungry for dinner and I WAS. I was starting to get a headache and asked if we could go ahead and eat early and they took us. We had a nice dinner and they give all the ladies carnations afterwards which is a nice touch! Then we drove over to the theater but the next 3 shows were already sold out!!! So we bought a ticket for the 7:30 show, this was at 4:45 mind you, and then went and found some ice cream. There USED to be a Ben and Jerry's back over by Mac Grill and so we drove back over there but it was gone and then we drove to Coldstone and it was closed so we were REALLY striking out!! But then while driving out of that mini mall area we found a Baskin Robbins/Togos and went in there. So we each got an ice cream cone and hung out till we had to go back and get in line for the movie. They told us to get there at LEAST an hour before which we got there even earlier and we sat there and that place was packed!

But I really enjoyd the movie! I liked how all the stories intersected and thought it was cute! Not the greatest by any means but I enjoyed it!

Anyway then we just picked up the girls and headed home.

Today we are just going to do some stuff round here and then take the girls to see Percy Jackson. I had planned to take them to a movie this week and Shane wanted to see it so we are all going to go since he has today off.

I am working tomorrow since I am off today and then hopefully Wed mom and I are going to do something with the girls. Hopefully the zoo. Don't know about Thurs and then I work again on Fri. So that is my week. No basketball all week because of the holiday and no plans for next weekend either. So the next big thing is the trip!! SOOO excited!

I am going to go watch my tivo of amazing race now! Have a good day everyone!

I'm heading to DLR with my Zoe for a mommy daughter day at DL for my Bday on Wednesday. If anyone's around and wants to stop by and say hi, I'd love to see you! I'm already preparing her for the fact that we're riding MOM's choices....wonder how long that will last

I'm getting so excited about the trip. I got my candy yesterday and working on the pillow case. I'm working out how much time I can actually make (that reminds me, I won't be able to make dinner on Sunday, I need to tell the person in charge of those resies...) I think I'll definitely be able to be there all day on Thursday and Monday. I'll work on it from there.

We picked a theme for Zoe's bday finally. It's Pirate princess and we're doing a scavenger hunt in the park. That way she can invite however many people she wants and boys or girls are ok.

My Dh gave me $50 in US funds since he knew I'd be to busy to get to the bank to convert it, and he brought home my favorite dessert, Tuxedo Cake We both worked all day so we just ordered pizza, but at least neither of us had to cook.

I hope everyone is having a great day. I worked all weekend then today I work 12-6, tomorrow I'm off but have a ton of things to do. I also have Friday and Saturday off so hopefully we're going to Vancouver to see some Olympic festivities!

My toe is doing very well! Thanks for remembering. It still has a mark on top, but the bruise is going away. The mark is from where the skin pushed back a little and was bleeding. No problems walking around though!!!

Oh for goodness sakes. All the rain that was gone from the forecast yesterday is now back!! It went from showing Thurs. the 25th just yesterday as sunny and 73, to now showing it as rain and 62 again. And now it says Sat. the 27th will have rain and thunderstorms.

I wish they'd make up their mind. Yes, I know it's not an exact science and will probably continue to change, BUT I'd like to have some inkling on how to pack. I don't do layers so that won't work for me. I end up feeling too bulky, like the marshmellow man if I dress in layer after layer.

Oh well, just ignore me. I'm just griping.
