How are you doing Stacie? I remember a post awhile back about your blood pressure? Not to be too nosey, but just wanted to make sure you are all good and healthy!

Im doing alright. Thanks for asking. Been on meds to keep it regulated, but it seems to be really low. So although its a bad idea, i skip them alot. But with taking my pressure everyday, I haven't noticed a difference if I take them or not. I plan to get my doc to get me off of them soon. Ive dropped almost 20 pounds since being on WW, so that should have helped. We will see what he says though. But im doing good.

I'm trying to get Jack assessed by our Regional Center for in-home ABA/IBI (intensive behavioral intervention). The special day class he is in is an autism specific ABA based classroom, but he needs more. I have no doubt he will qualify once I can get them out here to assess him - but the state takes FOREVER to do anything. He is behaviors are getting more severe and out of control and he is getting stronger.



Love Monster's Inc. - HATE Tower of Terror. And yes, I've been on ToT many, many times before my kids were old enough to ride alone. I hate free-fall drops!!!

I don't own any rainboots either, but have seen many cute ones at DL. The day we had breakfast with Carol, Michelle and Stacielee (who blew us off for sleep - geesh!) we saw so many cute rubber boots on women and girls. Maybe I will invest in some, hummmm.

Just a quick "hi". I have been skimming and I think I am pretty up to date. I just spent the last 3 hours re-doing my resume and preparing a cover letter for a job that I really, really, really want so I am trying to make every word just right. I have been thinking about it all week and finally got it e-mailed off tonight.

Strange week for me. Mike had a meeting with his bosses and he was worried about his job; it turned out OK but that was stressful. Bryan needed to make a decision about housing for college next year and it turns out that BOTH of my sons will be going to Eugene and sharing an apartment. I never would have seen that coming a few months ago. They will be 18 and 30 but have become very close. And this job opportunity has been weighing on me because I will be SOOOO disappointed if I don't get it but I am sure there will be a ton of applicants so I need prayers and pixie dust!

Well off to try to get some sleep.

My kids are home from school today. Staff development day. YAY! Of course instead of sleeping in as planned we are all wide awake, and have been for awhile, and now I have cleaning and laundry to tend to. As usual. lol

Morning divas and TGIF!!

This week certainly flew for me but that always happens when it is a vacation week. And we didn't even hardly DO anything but that is usually the way!

CONGRATS deb on your little one and I will be praying for you that all goes well and you get your little girl!!

Congrats too Heather on Nathan's eval! I know that is what you were hoping for so that is wonderful!!

Gosh I am SO excited that it is almost here with all this talk of the trip! I am pretty much done except for last minute packing but I am SO ready for it to get here. I admit that forcast doesn't sound desirable but I am hoping that like everything else it changes!!

I am just taking my normal "winter" clothes which consist of jeans and long sleeve, albeit thin, shirts. That way if it warms up they are not too heavy and I can roll up the sleeves but I am also taking my medium weight jacket and my scarf so that I can bulk up if it is cold but tie it round my waist if it gets warm. I HATE being cold and don't really like being hot either but that is why I HAVE to dress in layers to be prepared!

I am thinking more and more of wearing my uggs. Esp with the cooler forecast and unless it is SUPER hot I can pretty much tolerate them and they are SO comfy!!!

Anyway it is off to work for me today and then I MAY take the girls somewhere after. All our plans have changed so many times because of them getting in trouble this week and now it is supposed to rain again starting today and go all through the entire week next week. BLEH! I SO enjoyed the sun this past week but I guess nothing good lasts forever.

Luckily we have no plans except maybe church this weekend so hopefully we will just relax and enjoy a nice peaceful weekend and then the girls are back to school monday and I have to work and then Tuesday I will be getting any last minute stuff done and Wed I will work for the last time and that night we are taking mom out to dinner and celebrating her birthday with Dad and Shane. She thinks my dad is mad that she won't be here to celebrate her birthday with him so we are going to do it a few days early. That way the girls can celebrate with her as well.

Anyway that's bout it for me. I am off to work here in a few but you guys have a GREAT day today and talk later!!
