Good morning ladies.

Well I caught whatever Laila had & I've been sick for a couple days. I'm just starting to feel human again. This is the first time I've vomited since High School. I NEVER have tummy troubles. I guess I was due to get sick.

I know I've missed a lot, but I did want to let several of you know that I have received your checks/Paypal payments for the Meet & Greet & I'll post a list a little later so you know I got it.

Beth- Can please take me off the Jazz Kitchen list. It's not because there is no music, I just need to cut back a little & since I'm leaving Saturday night, this was the most logical cut.

I am so, so, so happy it's Friday! I'm looking forward to doing absolutely nothing this weekend.

I wish I could take away everyones illness. Since I cannot, I will send you all healthy vibes and good thoughts for getting better quickly.

I really honestly think that the monkey bride is only there when the layover is up. I've never seen her any other time.

Hey, since we're taking about covering our greys, I'll be coloring my hair again soon. I already bought it but I'm going to wait to color until just a few days before the trip. Maybe Callie won't recognize me again - LOL!

I'm actually kind of glad that there isn't going to be any live music at the Jazz Kitchen when we're there. Sometimes the loudness of it can get a little overwhelming and you can't have any kind of dinner conversation without shouting.

Would that be a mean pot of gumbo, Miss Capri? I want some!
And I think if it is cold during our trip a big bowl of that delicious Potato Soup in in my future, too.

My appointment to cover my greys is Thursday, 2/18. I have gone darker to more of my natural color. After being blonde for over 40 years, I really like it.

I am very lucky that I have a mom who always wants to help me with my job. When I was running the daycare, she worked almost full time to cover for me when I decided to go back to school. And now she is the best sous chef I could every ask for in my catering business. She's the best!

Oh, and she also gave me money for my birthday to get my hair done before the trip. I have not had my hair cut or colored since.......wait for it........June. Yep, it's time.

wow...I'm finally caught up in my reading! You girls had me laughing so hard.......all this talk of drinking, stripping, eating, Aunt Flo and Uncle Flash (sooo funny!)

I can't believe January is almost over...holy cow!! You know Feb is going to fly by when we flip that calender! Woohoo, Can't wait

Long week...glad its over. My mom's dear friend died Sunday, Parker's had a bunch of seizures this week, and the school schedule was off due to finals, so its all been a bit wonky! I have a bazillion things running thru my mind and I can't seem to get focused. Our Disney cruise planned for this summer looks like its going to get cancelled, which is a bummer, but we are hoping to get some home improvement stuff done instead (kitchen & bath) and we desperately need to tent the house, as the termites are really doing some damage in our garage I think we may go to WDW and just not do the cruise, but we'll see. I just need to sort thru everything and get it organized on paper to declutter my mind.
