I wouldn't wear Crocs when it's raining. I made that mistake once and slid across the pavement and landed on my butt. There are some areas that are very slippery and crocs have no traction.


I don't know what I'm going to wear (as far as shoes) on Saturday if it's raining. Probably my old boots, which are ugg look alikes. They are stained and dirty and have been worn in the rain many times. But they aren't as comfortable as my crocs or uggs. I do have to wear socks with my crocs though, or I get blisters. I know - ugly!

Good to know about the traction. I'm still trying to decide what to wear if it rains.

I also wear socks with my Crocs otherwise the little button that holds the straps on really bothers my feet.

Oh and I'm listening to Pandora right now and I just heard "You'll be in my heart" by Phil Collins and it made me so misty-eyed.

Listening to Disney music on Pandora is really getting me excited for our trip in 2 days!

I just had to pop in my disney music CD, that eatmypixiedust made me, on the way to work this morning.

I have done the exact same thing, Becci. Over by Space Mountain. My family gasped in horror when I fell and I had a sore tailbone/back for about a week. And I wear socks with them, too. A fashion statement, I am NOT! But if it is not raining we can wear our sock/croc combo and and stick together.

Whoo hoo! another sock/Croc person!

I am pretty much packed! GO ME!

Sarah (Motox) - I wore my Crocs one time and slipped in a puddle of water walking back from the parks to the parking structure. I slid like 3 feet, it was scary. I don't trust those things in the rain!

I don't know what's worse - sore feet (maybe) from rain boots or wet feet from wearing my tennis shoes???

Can I tell you all how excited James is that we are having a pajama party the first night? He is really hoping for a LPF this year and is eagerly awaiting pics.

Okay, got packed and errands ran. Heading out in 10 minutes. It is snowing here and we are expecting a few inches today. Meghan was a little upset when she left for school, but is excited about my mom flying in on Friday. She has a cheerleading competition Saturday...the first time that mom has seen her cheer.

Yup, lots of rain....I had to unpack my umbrella for the walk to work!

Well in my little patch of heaven just east of Portland, the sun is shining and the sky is blue with just a few clouds. The ducks are swimming in the creek behind my house. Great view from the back bedrooms.

Funny, it rains here all the time and I don't even own boots and nobody here uses umbrellas.

Jamie will be picking me up in less than 20 hours and we will be on our way! Today I am making a trip to the "Candy Basket" to pick up my candy; they have a chocolate waterfall there and lots of hard-to-find candies. Need to finish laundry and packing, and getting my manicure this afternoon. Planning to see Aladdin at noon tomorrow and get in 7 or 8 rides before the M&G.

So I ran home to get my laptop (I can't type on my ipod touch) and heading back to the hospital. They are keeping him overnight since he is dehydrated. Labs came back good so we are hoping its just viral since his lymph nodes are swollen. I at this point am planning to go since my family says they are dragging me to the airport, I even heard a bag over my head could be used if I go willing. Will jump back on at the hospital.

oh I'm so glad he's doing better and they don't think its super serious. Still so scary and stressful as a mom!

Hello ladies, I bet you can't guess what it is supposed to start doing later...yes snow. It couldn't wait just one more day and let me get on a plane without having a nervous breakdown, no it had to start now.

I decided to get a hotel room close to the airport and have them shuttle me over, sounds like a good plan to me. Better than having to leave my house around three in the morning to get to the airport by five. It sure was a lot easier back in the seventies.

I am so excited that I am driving everyone at work crazy but soon I will be driving you crazy instead.

Everyone have a great day and be careful coming to Disneyland, how ever you are getting there.

PS, I wonder how I will make it tonight without the computer?
