Girls Only Disneyland Trip - Old Thread

I'm posting this and then heading out the door for a couple hours. Hopefully, the feedback will be positive.

Here's what my dh has come up with:

I put one in the sleeve on my pink lanyard from last year and it looks really nice. We still have to find the link from the place we ordered the lanyards from last time, so we can all match.

Good news ladies! My dh is about 95% done with the lanyard design. I should have a picture to post later this afternoon so stay tuned. . .

I still have last years lanyard. I even wore it to WDW hoping I'd meet another DisBoarder. Well, I didn't meet any DisBoarders......but I did run into a whole bunch of people there for Mousefest and a couple of guys that do the Podcast. They were doing a live Podcast from DAK, and I ran right into them. It was funny because they seemed so excited to meet a DisBoarder who wasn't there for Mousefest.

After I checked my park list on the front page, I had the Matterhorn down as closed for March 2-6. That's what she told me. So by day 3, it had better be open. LOL

Are the park hours the same as what I had posted, or do I need to adjust them?

Ok that whole photopass thing seems WAY confusing. Stacie I think I already gave you all my info. Since I am on the list does that mean you already have all my info? You must remember my brain is kinda jello right now LOL.

So when I get home and have my photopass card I may have to go over this again cuz I doubt I am going to remember all this LOL. Remember I am techonologically challenged. All of that sounded like stereo instructions.

And Callie LOVE the lanyards. Tell your dh THANK YOU!! Those look GREAT!!!

I will be glad when my mom gets back next week so I can get my plane tickets bought. Then it will FINALLY seem real. Plus we need to get workin on our totes too. Man sometimes it all seems so overwhelming cuz I feel like there is SO much and I feel like I am going to forget something. WHEW! But still fun at the same time. I am REALLY excited. This is going to be so fun and with every little item that falls into place it just gets more and more exciting.

I can't believe that in another week I have to call and make my ADRS for my april trip already.

So I've got not one but TWO trips in the works. I am glad cuz I KNOW this trip is going to just FLY by! And the sad part is due to finances I don't think we are renewing our passes in June when they expire so our April trip is probably our last. So I REALLY need to enjoy these two trips cuz I don't know WHEN I will be going back!

I'm here still I feel like i'm a big downer to you all. I desperatly am wanting to get excited, motivated, and pumped up, but just feel the life has been sucked out, and replaced by blackness. Sorry I don't mean to be that girl everyone wants to avoid. I got news yesterday from my family they found a new clot in his arm this time. OMG I just want to scream just to release all this it's just to much. I pm Beth my cell I get free txt, so if anyone needs to vent feel free to blow my phone up lord knows yall have listened to me. Atleast you ladies now have my cell so we can find each other. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Don't let it overwhelm you. Remember this is all fun stuff. Make a to do list. Add fun Disney stickers to it and check things off when they are done. One thing at a time. I know you have two trips to plan, but we still have over a month before this one. It doesn't all have to be done this weekend.

Oh, and we couldn't renew our passes either so I feel you pain. But you'll go back, and so will I. We may not know an exact date, but we will.

And you are NOT going to be the girl everyone wants to avoid. No way. No one is. We all have ups and downs. Right now you are very worried about someone you love. We all would be in your shoes. I'm sorry the news isn't better for him right now.
Try to hang in there. I know he wouldn't want to be the cause for you being so down and dark. kwim? Keep your chin up, keep good thoughts, and prayers going for him. I will keep you both in my thoughts. Take care and feel free to vent anytime.
