Maybe I will see you at DL on Sunday. Since Monday is a school day, we wouldn't stay late, so early is when we will get there, if we go. Did that make sense?

Probably a silly question but those that have an IPhone did you have to get a new phone number? Only asking because Apple tends to be different. Steph: I got the new Blackberry Storm, but those were both with Verizon and didn't change numbers. Are you staying with the same provider? If so there shouldn't be a problem, and my understanding is that even if you're switching cell phone companies a federal law was enacted where the old company is required to "port" your number to the new company. don't know how complicated that is though.

Of course. I went to Ohio State for 8 years, what else do you have to do to waste time?.....there was a theater north of Columbus that had been running it for a b'zillion years. I went several times...even brought some playing cards the to hurl at the audience!! I'd come home with quite the collection of rice in my hair!! I never dressed up or anything, however. I wouldn't have anyway, but there were some serious regulars who would have probably snatched me bald had I tried to usurp a role!!!

Gotta love Tim Curry!!!

I am in no need for an iPhone...I am techno-delayed, but I recently went form AT&T to T mobile and stayed with the same number. The boys at the kiosk were a bit put out as it was more work for them, but got it all done with one stop shopping in about a 1/2 hour.

Happy Friday Everyone!
Beth - Glad you had a nice time with Ruben. He seems like such a sweetie (my DH is, too ). I've never seen RHPS. I know it has like a cult following, right? It's been cold and rainy here all day. Dreary. The weekend will be spent unpacking, doing laundry, housework, all the fun stuff. It's ok, I'm still in a really happy mood from vacation. Disney does that to me!

Its been raining and dreary around here all day too. But please pray for rain for me tonight. DD has softball practice, and if it rains overnight, coach will cancel. I have tons to do and sitting at the softball field for 3 hours isn't one of them.

Maybe I was a bad mom, but when my DD was on a dance team and had 2-3 hour practices, I dropped her off and picked her up. I only watched occasionally and then for 20 minutes or so. I wish I could go to Mimi's with you guys, it is so so so yummy for breakfast. But I have to go back to work Monday morn.

DD is 13. I am pretty much the only parent who stays. I may run a quick errand or two, but I am usually there. The manager, coach and 3 asst coaches all have girls on the team. So including my DD, half the team has a parent on the field. She has been with this team for a while, but they just moved to a new city to practice. Its not as close as the city she used to play with.

Sometimes I will walk with her to the dug out, and then let the coach know I will be studying in my car. I always make sure the coach knows where I am. I worry some. She got hurt real bad on season. She had a terrible coach that year and there was never supervison by him. He was off flirting at the snack shack while the girls were told to warm up. My DD got hit in the face by a ball thrown by a pitcher. Lucky I was on the field for that. Ended up in the ER with stiches. SHe was out for 4 weeks due to that injury.

Oh, one more thing before I go. Anyone still going to be there on Monday morning who's interested in eating breakfast at Mimi's Cafe? I've never eaten breakfast there but I've heard it's good.

Just a thought.

I'm sure it means a lot to her that you are there. I guess it's a little different when they are outside exposed to the public. I would have freaked out having to go to the ER - yikes! I hope they have a fun season, your DD must be a great player! I actually played Bobby Sox Softball when I was young. Other than pretending to be a decent tennis player in high school, it was the only sport I ever played. You sound like an awesome mom.
