I'm sure it means a lot to her that you are there. I guess it's a little different when they are outside exposed to the public. I would have freaked out having to go to the ER - yikes! I hope they have a fun season, your DD must be a great player! I actually played Bobby Sox Softball when I was young. Other than pretending to be a decent tennis player in high school, it was the only sport I ever played. You sound like an awesome mom.

Thanks! She is a really good player. She wasn't planning on playing this year due to a really tough school schedule. But the coach really wanted her to play for him. He said his team wouldn't be complete without her. She loved that, and the fact that he is a great coach, how could she say no? Lucky for us the coach is really on board with her doing well in school and knows that it comes before softball.

Yeah, the ER was a difficult thing to do. But we lived in that ER for a while. Two trips for concussion, one for the stitches, then another trip for a broken leg. All in a matter of 6 weeks or so. I thought for sure they were gonna file abuse charges on me.

At least you played sports. All I ever did was cheerleading. Did that from about the time I was 10 till my early 20's. I cheered, coached, and judged.

3 hours on a softball field. Uggghhh. That would be tough. How old is your DD? Maybe I was a bad mom, but when my DD was on a dance team and had 2-3 hour practices, I dropped her off and picked her up. I only watched occasionally and then for 20 minutes or so. Stacie, I hope you are feeling better.

I wish I could go to Mimi's with you guys, it is so so so yummy for breakfast. But I have to go back to work Monday morn.

Then I am a bad mom also. I never stay for practice. I boot them out the car & I am like peace out!!

No, dropping off at practices don't make one a bad mom. Just makes us different. Because I work and go to school full time I miss out on some of the things that she does. So when I can be there, I am there. When I went back to school I had a long talk with DD explaining to her that I wouldn't be able to make everything, but would do my best. Thank goodness its my last semester.

Between school, sports, work, this and that...esp when baseball starts I have 2 kids to take to two different fields...Thank God for their grandparents, I can go to one game & they go to another.
Oh ya but when they are at practice I am either taking the other one somewhere else or catching up on mounds of homework.

Once again, I feel your pain! Ty decided that 4 am was a good time to wake up today. He has been pleasant and played quietly while I caught up on Grey's Anatomy and Ugly Betty, but that doesn't change the fact that it's 8 am and I have already been awake for 4 hours. Meanwhile, Dave slept through it all But, that will serve me well when I desperately need a nap and perhaps a massage later today--it will be his turn to parent

BTW, I love RHPS too. We used to go see it at least once a month when I was in high school. Tim Curry is soooo fabulous!

I think I'm only 1/16th or 1/32nd or something. but I've always been very proud of my Indian heritage. A family story is that when I was little--about three--I fell really hard on my bottom in my Grandma's kitchen. She came over and said "are you hurt?" And I said "no because I fell on my Indian part!"

The Photopass signup is now closed with 21 people. If anyone decides to drop out, please let me know; that way, we can add someone who wanted to sign up but didn't get the chance.

This is how the Photopass sharing works, please read ALL of this:

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER:
Do NOT open your own Photopass account to look at your photos. Once they are in one account they can't be put into another one.

1. I am going to create an email and a brand new Photopass account before we leave in March. Once the first pictures are put into the account, we will have 30 days to edit/embellish the pictures before ordering the CD. PM me with your DIS name, e-mail address, name, and address. Once I create the account, I will send you the login information.

2. When you have pictures taken by the DL photographers, the first one you use will give you a Photopass card (like a gift card). Each time after that you get them to take your pictures you will let them scan your card. This keeps all your pictures together – if one day you forget your card, it is OK, you can get a new one, but your pictures will be on more than one card – not an issue. The Photopass website will let you add multiple cards (which is how we are able to share). This thread is pretty current and may help you find Photopass spots: Disney's PhotoPass Locations. You DO NOT have to do anything other than have them snap pictures and scan the card – no uploading at parks or anything. Just find the photographer, hand them your card and have them take pictures – it is that easy. There is also information on the website Stitch Kingdom. One thing I would recommend if you have a digital camera is to take a picture of the back of your Photopass card, where the number is printed, just in case some of the pictures don't turn up online.

3. Each of us will have our own card(s). So keep them with you.

4. Once you return from the trip, you can log onto the account and add your Photopass card numbers.

5. I will create our very own Photopass account to share. You can ONLY add your card numbers (pictures) here. To add the picture you log on and add your Photopass card numbers (if you have any issues when that time comes, I can help you). Once they are up you can edit them/add embellishments. Only add your Photopass card pictures here, not your personal camera ones. If you add your cards (pictures) to another account they will not be able to be added to our shared account – the website will only let you have your card on one account.

6. You can add your pictures as soon as you return home; remember, we have 30 days from the date the first pictures are uploaded.

7. After about 28 days, I will order our CD(s), unless we all agree on an earlier date.

8. Once I receive the CDs, I will burn you a CD/DVD and mail it to you for the cost of the materials (DVD, envelope, postage), which should be about $5 each. I'm assuming we will need at least one DVD or 2 CDs per person with all the pictures we'll have.

9. You can order other products from the Photopass website, and possibly have them shipped to you. If they end up only being able to ship to me, I can include them with your DVD/CDs.

One thing we need to think about is the LARGE number of pictures we had last time that were exactly the same. When we have a group taken, we really only need 1 or 2 people to add it to their card; everyone will still be able to make their own version of that picture, we just won't have to worry about having so many of the same.

Hi Ladies

Glad to hear south of me is raining. That means we should get it later today. We really need the rain.

I'm trying to decide on which candy to bring to the party. They are look tasty. I've found some of the 'fun' candy that we grew up with, that you can't find around the local stores. Might just have to bring a couple kinds... Did I mention I have a really big sweet tooth???
