Beth - Yes, go to the reunion, it will be fun!
Callie - Your new dog is so cute!

I love dinner time. But it's just DH & I and he is appreciative of anything I make and is not picky. But I do feel like I waste a lot of food. Sometimes a lot of leftovers get thrown out.:sad1:

Heck, send your leftovers up here. Once less meal I need to cook. lol

Instead of calling them leftovers, have them the next night and call them a sequel. Just a thought.

I think if it was just the two of us, we'd eat out all the time. I don't like to cook and clean up, so it would be easier for me.

We ended up eating breakfast burritos. Flour tortillas, egg scrambled with diced onions, tomatoes, peppers, sprinkled with cheese, and some hash browns, all topped with sour cream and salsa.
NOT diet friendly but I couldn't think of anything to make and the thought of another Lean Cuisine made me want to you know what.

A sequel. LOL Cute. Except usually sequels aren't as good as the original. :rotfl:

Hey all, I'm starting to feel batter.

I've tried to keep up with you all. I miss being on here a lot, but honestly won't be until after the move. I'm so excited about going though. :goodvibes

(sigh) I want to be on vacation right now. Doesn't have to be Disney. I'll take any vacation as long as it's away from housework and homework.

Not always true.......Empire Strikes Back and Godfather 2

We love having breakfast for dinner. Another "special" dinner we have is cut up hotdogs with fried potatos in a burrito. Cook up the potatos and then toss in the hot dogs. Mmmmmm. So bad, but so good.

If I had to cook for just me I would love it. My family is the one with issues when it comes to food. No soy, no light/free/etc, no replacements for meat and such. I would love to cook light and healthy. But they love deep fried fat with bread on the side. Ugh.

I was thinking the same thing. I start back to school tomorrow and already am looking forward to Spring Break. Thankfully I have the Disney trip to look forward to and the Vegas trip to plan.

Hi Heather! I'm glad to hear you are doing better now. We've missed you on here, but I know how demanding moving can be.

I'm trying to get my kids ready for bed while I'm wishing I was someplace else. I've got that song, Some Beach in my head right now. LOL

Believe it or not, I've never seen any of the Star Wars movies or the Godfather movies. I will say that I liked Terminator 2 and Aliens better then the first ones.

LOL on the deep fried fat with a side of bread. :rotfl: Too bad the stuff that is so bad for us, tastes so good.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to our Disney trip and Vegas of course but it's never enough for me. If I won the lotto, I'd have no interest in new clothes, or designer shoes, or purses. I would however travel as often as I could. That's my dream, to be on permanent vacation. LOL

believe it or not, the workaholic is ready for a vacation too! I have been greatly unmotivated at work lately--thought it was just the holidays, but haven't gotten that 'zing' back yet. I am really looking forward to this weekend and seeing Stacie and Wendy and Stacie and Melody (I won't see Michelle since she's coming up on Sat.)

Same here. I already know if I win the lotto, I will be taking a world cruise. And then while I am cruising, I will plan my other vacations.

Lucky! I was supposed to be meeting up with Amy and Jane this Sunday but since I'm having my teeth pulled on Saturday, we changed the date. I want to be able to eat cheesecake when we go out. :thumbsup2

So what are y'all doing at the mini meet? :cool1:

Me too! I always either want to be on vacation or planning a vacation. Used to drive my DH crazy, but I think I'm slowly bringing him over to the "dark side." Just not enough days off per year! 12 lousy days off with work telling me when to take half of them for winter break. Why can't we have 5 weeks off like the Europeans?

:rotfl2: I do that when I'm on vacation. Even before it's completely over, I'll already be thinking ahead to where we can go next. And we don't take fancy trips, but I do like to get away, even if it's just to stay at my inlaws. I need a change of scenery as often as possible.

I want to wake up to March 5th tomorrow. Anyone have a time machine?
I wish!! I'd skip right past this weekend. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Looking forward to seeing you as well.

Maybe we can all sneak out tonight.......... We can be long gone before our families catch on. :car: :rotfl:

That sounds like a plan. And heck, no need to pack, I can find a Target where ever we end up.

I have no idea. Don't even know when or where we are meeting up. But I do know that I will be there.

:rotfl: Our poor husbands! Ruben called me the other day from work and I said I was planning our next vacation. He says "For when??? 2010?"
Ummmmm, no. This summer actually. :rolleyes1

Luckily his parents live in SoCal and I think we are going to go spend a week at their place. We can use them as a base and take day trips from there. Hotels are usually what end up costing us the most since we are a family of six.

Europeans get 5 weeks off??? Man, maybe it's time to move again. :rotfl:
