Girls Only Disneyland Trip - Old Thread

I didn't really want to see people either, but I made myself go and had fun. Of course, it also gave us a Disneyland trip (if we had to go to CA we might as well get to Anaheim, right?).

Well, that's a nice bonus!

My DH and I re-met at our 10 year high school reunion and that's where it all started. So, yes, we did go to our 20 year reunion. It was a lot of fun and nice to see people. I say go! But then, I am partial to reunions. Worked out for me.

Most of you probably saw on FB that we got a new dog yesterday, so much of today has been spent just getting used to a new member of the family. Kendall will take her to agility tonight to meet everyone.

Dh never got around to our lanyard design this weekend. It's obviously going to take more nagging than I initially thought.

Well, I gotta figure out dinner (my least favorite time of day). I'll let you all know when I have a lanyard design for ya!

Her name is Cricket, and she's a Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie). Kendall has been on the hunt for a new agility dog (since our Maltese didn't like the sport). So she found Cricket on the Humane Society's website on Sunday morning. We ran down to the PetsMart where they were showing her, and we brought her home at noon. She's a really sweet girl, but a bit timid. Hoping she comes out of her shell so she'll perform well at agility.

I am looking at making a trip in a couple of months and trying to decide whether to fly nonstop out of LAX--and if so I don't want to depend on someone to get me up there but am thinking about whether to park for the week or take a shuttle. What service are you using and what was the approximate round-trip price?

That is a great story. I almost kept dating this one guy just so we would have a great "how we met" story. I hit him in the head only to find out he was a police officer. Lucky he only wanted a date and didn't arrest me. It ended up not working, but it was a great story.
