Hi everyone. I hope you all had a nice day. We went shopping and to lunch. It was a nice relaxing day. I went to Michaels and found that they had their T-Shirts on sale. They were 2 for $5. I was able to get a lime green one as well as a red one. Hope this helps someone who's considering getting the shirts for the days but didn't want to spend too much money.

I'm watching the Oscars so I'll be on later.

I just wanted to give a shout out to Jane and Becci! I met up with them today for lunch. It was nice. Becci is really nice and so friendly. Her dd Michaela is very pretty.
Jane's son Ty is just adorable. He was "flirting" with the little girl at a nearby table. He's definitely a charmer.

The service might have left something to be desired but the company didn't. Thanks gals! :)

I would ditto that! Snaps to the company, boos to the service at Friday's today--they made Beth wait nearly 30 minutes longer than everyone else for her food for no good reason. And, it was great to meet the twins--they are lovely young ladies and Beth has a lot to be proud of!

11 days until most of us are together (I realize some of you won't be there until Friday) and by this time on Saturday we'll be waiting for F! after 2 full days in the park!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Okay, one more tiara question;

Would it look silly if the tiara had both clear and red rhinestones? Or should I go for 100% clear rhinestone tiara?

Okay, I lied, another question: Ummmm, what about style of tiara.....some have hearts, some have butterflies, some are more traditional looking. I was looking at this one on Ebay because it was sort of inexpensive compared to others. Is it totally dumb looking?: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=350169131134

Sorry, question girl (me) has another one; how big (tall) is everyone's tiara.....one inch?....1.25 inches?.....1.5 inches?

(Man, I apologize for being a pain in the behind here! Can you tell I'm completely out of my element with this tiara thing? :goodvibes )

Well, the one I bought--to match my red shirt, of course, has red and clear rhinestones--so it had better be OK!!! (of course, then last night I finally found my old one--so I'm going to switch off).

I'll order one of the headbands, if its not too late. Thanks!!

Sam walks in (my almost 6-year old) and says "mom?? Is that yours" I reply yes...he looks at me with an odd expression for a few minutes, then says "you look like a big, really old princess" :lmao:

If thats not bad enough...he adds "but you're supposed to have long hair, you know, hair that goes down your back"

Is it March yet??

aren't kids precious? :rotfl2:

I'll add you to the headband list.

Yeah....that's not the word I would choose to describe him at times...

Thanks for adding me to the headband list! If you PM me with your address and the total I'll get the $ out to you.

I'm so sad that I missed this! I would have loved to see you both again and would have loved to meet Becci! Darn on call weekend!!!

I spent most of the day on the phone with work, tried to squeeze in a few errands later in the afternoon...groceries, etc.

I would have much rather been at lunch with some DIS friends!!

So...I was trying on my tiara, and Sam walks in (my almost 6-year old) and says "mom?? Is that yours" I reply yes...he looks at me with an odd expression for a few minutes, then says "you look like a big, really old princess" :lmao:

:lmao: Oh man, kids are too funny. We missed you at lunch! But soon we'll be having fun!

I was watching them and got bored.

And, it was great to meet the twins--they are lovely young ladies and Beth has a lot to be proud of!
Aw, thanks! :goodvibes

I'm watching this show called Platinum Weddings, and OMG this wedding is nuts.

Their flower budget alone was $60,000!!! Her shoes (one pair, she had two, one for her wedding dress and one for her reception dress) were $2,000.
Her make-up artist was $5,000 and the photographer was $10,000 and her earrings were $27,000. The cake was $4,000, the D.J. was $7,500, the table linens were $15,000 and on and on and on. I can't believe people spend that kind of money!! :sad2:

Imagine the damage we could do at DLR with that sort of budget?

No kidding!! We could all stay there for a month at the GCH. This bride's wedding ring was $70,000.

I realize I will never have that problem, but if I did, there is no way I could spend that kind of money on such frivolous things. I'd probably lose the ring!! :rotfl2: I mean, $60,000 on flowers that are going to die?? :confused3
Good thing I'm not rich, I'd never be able to bring myself to actually spend any of it anyway. :rotfl:

Is it bedtime yet?? I have been waiting for my kids bedtime so I could go to bed myself. :rotfl:
It's kind of pathetic when someone is ready for bed before their kids are.

Im right there with you. Even if I had bank, I don't think I could spend it like that. I would still shop at Target and try to get the best deals. no way could I imagine spending money on rings and flowers.

Then color me pathetic too. There are nights that I have been willing to buy Ty the world to get him to go to sleep so that I can go to bed too. Luckily he doesn't understand me well enough yet to hold me to the promises that I will make him in a sleep deprived haze!

I watch that show all the time (I automatically tape it) just because the weddings are so "over the top" and extravagant. One night the couple was a much older attorney here in Orange County and his much younger bride to be (also an attorney). I was appalled--and wondered what his clients must think when he charges them big bucks and then goes and blows it on a t.v. show for a wedding.

I can't believe people who have that kind of money to spend aren't living!! at a Disney park...I would be!!

Good morning, ladies!

I wanted to post the pic of my tiara. Sorry it is so blurry. I took it close up with my cell phone. It has a flat comb on the back. It is really cute.

*I resized it...not sure why it is jumbo-sized.

Good morning ladies! Well, I think I've changed my kids' birthday plans and instead of going to Legoland, I think they want to go to DLR!! :)

My friends who live in Claremont will get us the two-fer tickets for Dan and the kids, and I am now looking at a 5 or 6-day pass! Geesh! Still working out all the details, but I am a lot more excited about more time at DL rather than LL (which I think is too babyish for my big kids).

Have ya'll be watching the weather updates for our weekend? Tut-tut, it looks like rain! :) :)

Good morning ladies!

It must have rained earlier this morning. Its all wet outside and a bit gloomy. I have tons of homework to do but all I want is to climb back into bed and watch tv all day. UGH!

Have a good one!

Ack - what to do if it does rain? I don't own a rain jacket. A windbreaker, yes, but not a rain jacket (I know - and I live on the Wet Coast too ;)).

What is up with Rain...don't we get enough of that up here in Washington. It is not supposed to rain in CA....isn't that a rule somewhere?

Holy crap :scared1: that is just crazy!! I don't even think If I had that kind of
money I could spend that much on my wedding.

It's a rainy day here, dark, grey & gloomy. 5 days until my birthday!
Soccer practice starts today!
