Theresa, that's a bummer about your cocktail! I hope you made a new one asap! That same type of thing happened to us a few years ago when we were setting up for a party at our house. We were talking about how far ahead we were, and how we wouldn't have to be rushing right before guests arrived, when my sis in law dropped a bottle of coke in the kitchen. That sucker spun in circles, spraying down my entire kitchen, including the curtains! What a mess that was!
See, you should never jinx yourself! Of course, my son had to witness the entire thing. He laughed so much

Pomagrante martini sounds yummy...
but I am setting for a Washington Apple Martini...
I love sour apple martinis! I tried a caramel apple martini once, but that was way too sweet and there was a gob of thick caramel in the bottom of my cup - blech (I like caramel, just not some thick ooze in the bottom of my drink

hhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmm.. that is not good. what a mess. those are the worst kinds..when you don't see them coming. did you ever get your cocktail?
I did manage to scrounge up the last Pomtini (premixed pomegranate martini) left over from Christmas. I added a bit of lime juice and ice - almost as good as freshly made

Ready for a shocker? I've never had a martini in my life.Sad, but true.

Ooh, you have to try. I like the flavored kinds best myself. I'm not one for very strong alcohol. I prefer the frou frou girly pink drinks

oooohhh green apple martini's are so delicious when served cold, they are crisp and tart like a jolly rancher green apple candy.
Yummo!!
I like Pink. I love "So What". Its one of the songs that DD and I can agree on.
I love Pink! My DS got me her latest CD for Christmas (and then stole it from me

OOhhh. Yard House's Pomegranate Martini's are the bestest. Sorry about the "shake up"--and no, I cannot imagine getting pom juice off a white ceiling? I would drink the straight alcohol. Get it over with quicker (and feel better faster).
Oy - it has been a lousy two weeks. Way too busy and stressful! I usually love my work, but sometimes it just does not seem worth it....... But then I get a break and it's all good

And ex-DBF Or manmel as Dawn nicknamed him is not being very nice. Can't I just crawl into bed and stay there till March?
No, don't let him get to you. Boys don't make much sense sometimes (most of the time). I live with two and they can drive me bonkers (girls just seem so much more reasonable and sensible). It's all that testosterone - not pretty

I told my DH that I don't want to go out on Valentine's Day because it's just so crowded everywhere. We're going out on Monday instead - hopefully won't be so crowded. I already told him no flowers, no candy (Lordy, no candy!!). I love getting flowers, just no on Valentine's Day. I can't stand that they jack up the price so much. The same flowers that a week ago cost $15 are now $45 ----- Are you kidding me???!!!! No thanks. All he wants is a little "romance" - and no, our definitions of romance are not the same thing
