I only work 4 hours tomorrow. Half day for me yay!! I am so excited!!

Tomorrow I am doing spring crafts with my DD's grade school after school. I am the head of the schools' green team--we recycle, so tomorrow we are making caterpillars out of styrofoam peanuts and flowers out of old magazine pages. Woo--hooo, living on the edge.

I will have my fingers glued together and glitter in my eyelashes, no doubt!!

Kelly, I loved your pics of you back in the 80's. It's so fun to see our younger selves. I want to see more pics! I'm interested in your headache remedies as I get bad sinus headaches once a month that'll put me in bed, and only exedrin & sinus pain tablets (together) will give me any kind of relief. I'm looking forward to the day where I don't get those at all.

It was strange to see so many special needs kids and even some teens or young adults. I went on a mission and as I rolled through the park I kept an eye out for things people asked for. I saw the north path and took it as it looked quiet. It was a chance meeting with Joshua and he was having more fun than most people in that park. Charming lad, indeed.

Mom was dumbfounded when I told her I had not rode one ride yesterday. I did not pop into Wishes but I got to check out the first aid and baby center. Sue has a magnificent board for people going to WDW. I want the same thing for Disneyland board. People come to this site and this board looking for answers and should get the right ones. I got to find the thread about portraits in the parks as it was interesting that they both are open year round but use different media.

I told rehab that I needed a scooter to exercise and that sounds weird. I walked into the restaurant, did 4 steps up and 4 steps down. I walked in the store and stood there for a while. I walked from my car to the tram then from security to the ECV rental and later from the ECV place to the tram then to my car. I need exercise but when it hurts so much I don't want to move but give me a 50% sale or cheddarburgers with cross cut fries and boy do I exercise. I am so afraid of falling nowadays because each fall means weeks of recovery and more damage.

I am hoping to loose the 30 pounds I gained this year. This year with Divas I was returning to the parks and got so much exercise. I know what would help me exercise. Mary Jo you could jog in front of meet and dangle a cheddarburger and criss cross fries.


I hope everyone who is sick gets better soon. Mary Jo you need to show off your toes as they cannot be as bad as mine which have crooked little toes. I like the idea of the little cut outs attached to the nails. Probably could even make some Tink ones, who knows. Add some glitter also.
I never have used makeup as mom never did and I never learned or really wanted to.

Today Ty had a consult with an ENT and he will be getting tubes placed in his ears on May 1st. Hopefully that will help with his speech as well as his health (no more or at least fewer ear infections). I was surprised that the didn't test his hearing today but really just took a look at his ears, saw that there was fluid (as always) and concluded that he needed tubes (as I had already suspected).

Hi Jane,
Glad to hear that you got that set for Ty. That should make all the difference in the world for him. On one of your follow up appointments, ask them to check his hearing. They should be able to at least check a few frequencies at his age, although he probably would need to be a little older for a full evaluation (behaviorally).

Hey, what time are you all arriving on the 22nd in October. I think I will be there and would love to meet up with you guys. I would even watch Ty while you and hubby hit a ride together

Hi Heather! That is great news! Was it the "I'll watch the kid while you go on a ride" comment? I know your dying to show off your Indy prowess to your hubby, aren't ya! Of course the same offer would extend to you! Hey, I actually need a ride from San Diego to Anaheim. I'll finish my conference mid day on the 21st. Would gladly pitch in gas money, entertain the kids, etc. I was thinking I would rent a car, or take the surfliner or something like that, but if you had room, I would squeeze in.

I've been trying to get in the shower since 630, but I'd much rather catch up on the DIS! It's days like this I am sooo glad to be a salaried employee.

If I hang around long enough, I can get to the hospital just in time to check email and voicemail before I run downtown to meet my diva friends for lunch!!

Hi Deb! That would be so fun. That's right! I forgot that you are bringing the ex or something too? Hmm...well I will be at the SanDiego Westin for my conference. If you want to ditch the fam for the night, you could come down and stay with me the night of the 20th. I will be done with my conference by 8 or 9, then we could goof off a bit. I will have to finish up my conference the next day, but you could lounge around, walk to the waterfront etc, until I got done and then we could head up to Anaheim on the 21st. Hmm...the options are endless!

I guess we do have 6 and 1/2 months to figure it out, but I am just happy to be able to plan 1.25 days in the parks. Does anyone know if they will close early mid week in October.

Hey! If we get a van, we will have room. Otherwise, it would be a tight wqeeze betweent he carseats in the Explorer, not to mention our bags and strollers in the back! We might have to get a van...

This wknd....tonight my friend & I are going to hang out. She has had a rough wk. Tomorrow baseball practice for Kaeleb, birthday party @ 2, bowling, birthday party @ 4, at the same pizza place I had Kaelebs party. I slowly feel my arteries clogging....Then at 7 I will take the kids back to my cousins house. Some sort of Wii marathon?? Sunday I am going to Hermiston for a friends baby shower. Ween is having a spring bean..
Her and husband have been married for 17 years. He has a child from a previous marriage. She thought she couldn't have kids, well last Oct/Nov she thought she had a very bad case of the flu...well she did the 9 month flu!!
Its a girl. I am so happy for them.
So that's my wknd besides massive homework & laundry & buying a few groceries.
