The CMs kept hearing people ask the same questions like how wide is the Mark Twain, lol. silly guests.:lmao: :dance3:

Someone (a beloved person who is wonderful in all ways) in my group made sure we did not ask CMs any questions. So Sarah practically scaled the trellis outside the waiting area only to realize that we just couldn't see the writing. So we had to go in there, only to find out that "width" is not the nautical term. :)

That would be nice...you know, not being charged outrageous prices for normal or smaller portions of food.:rolleyes1 Just saying...

Everyone else likes Mimi's, but we really really liked Millie's when we stopped for take-out in May! Massive thing of mac and cheese, garlic bread, and a huge side salad for something like $11. Really amazing.

Im in for next year!!! Well.. maybe for a day or two. Im afraid my husband crap his pants at the idea of me leaving him home alone with all these kids. :lmao: Heck.. He isnt all that fond of me leaving him alone with the babies so I can take a shower. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Change that signature, since you're home (I take it). :)

DD did dress up like her one year. She is pacific islander (guam) and used to love Lilo. We would make fun of her and her dog and call him Stitch.

That's adorable. I enjoyed talking Guam briefly with you. I'm sure if I told hubby about it, he would thank you too, since he really really wants to go there! Forget Hawaii, he says, Guam is IT! (and he's been to both)

Garden Walk would be fine and here are some that I would not mind as they have GF menu and food.

PD Chang has a GF menu but I probably could bring something to eat as they use a lot of soy sauce.

Bubba Gump is a maybe but might have to bring my own food.

My favourite is McCormick & Schmicks, have safely eaten there before. I may go there for my birthday, like wow they have one so close to me. I have a long ways away to decide on my birthday.

Question: Can I make a special request to have a personalized menu?
Answer: Yes, we can add a short personalized message to the top of our menu. When you make a reservation, just let the host know what the occasion is and what you’d like the menu to say (e.g. Happy Birthday, John!)
Question: Can you accommodate guests with dietary restrictions, including vegetarians and those with specific food allergies or someone who might be on a special diet?
Answer: Our chefs will do their very best to accommodate specific requests regarding food allergies and other dietary restrictions. Feel free to call the restaurant in advance to inquire about your specific needs. Once in the restaurant, please let your server know exactly what your needs are as well, so that they can be clearly communicated with the kitchen staff.

OMG http://www.barlouieamerica.com has loaded tater tots, I am heading for that place and they list the allergens, omg. I WANT TATER TOTS, please, NOW.

:rotfl2: You know those turnstiles go both ways, right? I can just picture Sarah holding onto the railing while she tries to read the sign.

Everyone did very good on that question, I'm proud of all of you!

I will definitely be at the Oct mini-meet and alone. I plan on hanging out with Cheryl, but want to see as many of you as possible. Deb - I don't mind hanging out for awhile with you even if your kids are there, no problem! We'll work out more details as the time approaches. Stacie, are you coming with your DD?

Heather - let us know if they honor the changed rate. I paid for my stay in two (the had it as two reservations) and I did not see the changed rate updating on the 5th (and I swear I checked the night before, just in case!).

I was checking too.

But lookie there:

Yeah, well, we figured that out later on. I think she knew it the whole time, but I was a wee bit confused once we were leaving the waiting area, looking around for the exit, and then I think Sarah just went through the turnstile. I'm a doof.

I really should have taken a picture, seriously I should have. She was like spiderwoman!

'cause Debra is a princess. princess:

Whatever!

I will be there with her if she wants to hang with me. She is 13 now and doens't like spending as much time with me as she used to. But if she knows you guys (Dis Ladies) will be there, that might change her mind. Plus she loves rides.

Yep - I thought it was a little weird the EC rate was not showing for those days as the hotel did not seem all that full (did meet some interesting people though - might I add that Australian accents are nice, but somewhat difficult to understand on the first pass!)

I have Hojo ressies for Oct. 22-25th, and I will have Ty & Dave with me. We will probably do the MToTP on Friday night as we had a great time at it this past year. Now, I just have to think of a group costume even more creative than our Lilo, Stitch & Cobra Bubbles that we did already...:rotfl2:

I glad to know that I'm not the only one with an A+ personality already thinking about costumes!! :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Do DH and I have to dress up also!?! :scared1:

At least the Mark Twain dude was a nice CM and answered up correctly. A dude on Main Street told me that the Mayor of Disneyland had left and it was because of Donald Duck. State law prohibits me from using my purse on ninnies unfortunately. We were out of time because of my ECV and I get a ninny CM who thinks he is funny. It was in the window over City Hall and I remembered it being somewhere on Main Street.

I read too much. I never got to see what was different about the china pattern as I could not get up the stairs as a herd of people was going down. I hope SSI and state agents did not see me trying to climb them stairs, lol.

I do stairs only to avoid lines on Splash Mountain and if there is a cheeseburger involved.:confused3

What would the entertainment rate be?

Did you meet the older couple, too? We met the cutest couple, both wearing lime green, in the elevator. :)

Or did you meet the couple that burst into Linda and Bree's room? Oh gosh, I wonder if it was the SAME couple?

Sounds like a plan!! I am going to bartend all summer so I can save money for October & next year & tuition. I love it!!
What kind of flavors do you like?? I could come up with a drink by then. oohh..I could try it out myself first.
Ummmm, something pretty and fruity that doesn't taste like alcohol would be nice. :rotfl:

How come no one points out that Debra can be inappropriate too. ;)
Because it's usually you doing it so we just give everyone else a free pass.

Well, if I'm alone I'll be following you and Cheryl around.

Huh. Figures.

I met a gentleman on Friday morning, while I was waiting on the sofa by the pool entrace for Tracey and Donna. He asked me a question and it took me a while to figure out what he had said. He said "Do you know what time the thing opens?" and I was like huh??? :confused3 He meant what time DL opened for the day

Only hotels in SD I know of are....Casa de me Brother (lol) and the Del. I'd pick the Del, if money were no object!

Are you going to go to Seaworld? If so, think about possibly doing two days there, and looking on their site for BOGO deals on tickets. We kinda hated the place until we'd been there a few hours, thought about going, then saw the Pets Rule show and our whole day turned around...we were glad to have the BOGO tickets then. :)
