No. Do tell!

Ok, so the story goes.....we were taking pics with Ariel at lunch. We asked her about who else was there that day. And someone asked if Belle was there. Well, she got a little witchy and stated that Belle wasn't a real princess. She never married "that guy" and she just lives there with him. She gave a smirk and turned back to the camera to take pics.

Cat claws were out and everything.

Beth, you are too sweet.

You know you are fat when you get a massage at a Day Spa and the therapist asks you "Are you pregnant?" Yes, she really did. I tried to make myself feel better that she thought at age 48 I was still of child bearing age. I was thin most of my life and being a size 14 with a big belly is hard for me. I really did try to lose weight for the girls trip. I lost 6 pounds and felt like I had starved myself for a month. Sad story, I know.

That is down right preposterous! You do NOT look pregnant. I didn't even think you looked "big".

I think you look great. And who cares about a 14. Its the average size of most women any ways. Embrace your body and love it. Its sad that you thought you needed to starve for a month. You didn't need to.

I have one or two chocolates left and pigged out on green m & Ms and now starbursts. Am never loosing weight but wait I am going to exercise by making repeat trips to the chip and candy bags.

I am just so happy to have had non alcoholic drinks and the candy that I did eat. Sad that some I could not have because of soy or wheat, sigh. I want more skittles and starbursts, NOW, please.:rolleyes1

I can shove one of those in my mouth whole and not bat an eye.
:worship: :worship:

What?? That lady was on crack. No way do you look pregnant.

Meeeooww! Although, if I was there that probably would have totally cracked me up. :rotfl2: Who knew sweet little Ariel had it in her. :rolleyes1

Since I know you guys don't mind off-topic chatter (meaning it's not related to our girls trip but it is related to Disneyland)...

I'm taking my mom to Disneyland next week for her birthday and I made PS reservations at Steakhouse 55 for breakfast. Anyone ever eat there? Cheryl said it was really good so I'm glad to have a reference.

Does anyone know how this "free on your birthday" thing works? I know she has to bring her driver's license but do we just walk up to the turnstiles?

Oh! And because we're not too fond of park food (aside from Red Rockett's Pizza & Tomorrowland burgers) I'm taking her to White Water Snacks in the GCH. I know several of you ladies have been, how is it?

That's nice of you to do that for her. I've never been to the Steakhouse, nor have I done the free birthday thing, so I can't help you there.
I can say that the nachos at WWS are really good though. :thumbsup2

Thanks, everyone.:)

That is funny about Ariel and Belle. I know when DH, DD & I ate there the conversation was definitely "adult". They all flirted with DH but were so sweet. I really enjoyed eating there. Where have we not gone (as a group) that we can try next time? Ohhh, the BBQ of course, but we need more!

We haven't done Minnie's for Breakfast. And we can always do a meet up at Rancho, but grab food from where ever you choose type deal.

Oh good. I'm not the only one with a warped sense of humor. :thumbsup2

Course not....I hang with you guys don't I?:rotfl2:

Cristabel - we've had breakfast at SH55. It is very nice. They have a killer ginormous breakfast burrito, huevos rancheros, normal breakfast items. The atmosphere is very elegant and the portions large. Either split a meal or go hungry! Many of the servers have worked there for like 20 years so don't be surprised by the middle aged staff. For the free birthday gift, you have to go to the ticket booth outside. I know they often have a long line, but they will turn you away at the turnstiles. Plan on arriving early. Have a great time!:)

I agree, Linda does NOT look pregnant!

Ariel also made the comment that Cinderella started off as hired help, meanikng she was not a true 'born into it' princess.

She made the comment at first that she wanted to be a Diva, but that she was just a princess. After her comments, I corrected her and told that she was indeed a Diva! :rotfl2:

Good news folks! I think I have talked DH into doing our family trip in October. We are going to take it nice and slow, but hit a few other places before winding up at DLR with you all. I'm excited!

Also, I don't know if this was mentioned, but it looks like the ent rate came out on the 5th for the 5th, 6th and 7th of our trip. I wonder if Lorealle could issue us refunds for the difference? It's frustrating to me that I didn't think to ask at check in. I had thought about it, but forgot. I'm going to ask Monday when I call to book the 22nd-25th.

I'm excited!

Thanks Linda! So we shouldn't order our own meals? My mom and I are definitely eaters

Well that's no fun! They would do that to us! My plan is to leave our house at 8am. I'm hoping we'll be going through security around 9:30am. The only reason I want to get the ticket before going to breakfast is because I want my mom and I to take the monorail into the park. It was my first time on the monorail EVER during our Girls trip. I really enjoyed it!

:rotfl2: True.

I'm hoping that's the one we do next year.
Either Minnie's or Lilo and Stitch. I'm up for either but we have a few who've had trouble at Minnie's so we might have to put that one to a vote.

Good news about October!
I didn't know the Ent rate came out for those dates.
I know when we were there and Amy and Jane were checking out, they forgot to ask for the Ent rate for Sunday so they asked upon check out and the guy wouldn't give it to them. He said something about having already run the card. :confused3

I have only had great experiences at both Minnie's and Lilo and Stitch. But then again, I'm not very difficult to please.

I also would consider doing a meal offsite one night.

The BBQ sounds so fun. One other option since we are extending the trip by a day is maybe going off site to that Gardenwalk area. They have a Bubba Gumps, a Cheesecake Factory, a PF Changs. I think there is bowling too. That could be fun. I wonder how far of a walk it is......
